28 Chapter 28

Despite his intimidating armor, Moka had a powerful charisma that could wash over the masses. One by one, many of the Jedi there began imagining their new life in the Templar Order, free from the Jedi's strict rules as they roam the galaxy and actually make a difference. After one young Jedi Knight, a male Zabrak, walked up to Moka, kneeling on one knee while he slammed his fist to his chest, then most of the Jedi followed suit, only some choosing to remain loyal to the Jedi Order.

Moka was quite impressed with this young Zabrak, and made sure to remember him for later. The Zabrak has pale orange skin, two prominent horns on his forehead and a crown of horns on the rest of his head. He had some cranial and facial tattoos, but not enough to distract from his handsome face. The young Knight looked to be around the same age as Moka, and made him realize that he has never had any actual friends his age besides Jona.

After a while of giving them time, Moka looked over the crowd and noticed that just over half of the crowd, mostly the young Jedi that numbered about 400, has decided to join the Templar Order. When compared to the thousands upon thousands Jedi that the Jedi Order had before the great Schism, it wasn't a lot, but it was definitely a start given the circumstances.

After separating the Jedi and the Templars, Moka had members of Dragon Squad arranging the flights for the Jedi to Bespin, where Yoda and the rest of the Jedi Order relocated in Cloud City. He also sent a protocol droid with a datapad holding instructions for getting access to an off-world bank account.

Now some may be wondering why Moka would want to fund the Jedi Order, and the answer is that it is the smartest move in the long run. Moka needed the Order to rebuild and gain their strength as soon as possible so that they can distract some of the more deadly forces in the galaxy for him. Plus, who wouldn't want the Jedi Order is their debt?

For the Templars, they were being led to a blade of Blackstar Palace that was unused until Moka had utility and construction droids retrofit it to be the new base of the Templar Order. This way, he can keep the Order close and loyal as he runs it, the Order becoming synonymous with Moka and his future empire. This way he can always keep his home and family safe, as many would have to think twice before attacking the home of a King and home to many force users.

As the arrangements were nearly done, Moka noticed Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and his adopted son, Anakin making their way over to him. Moka wasn't sure how they would react to his speech, but once he saw the small smile on Qui-Gon's lips, he relaxed. "I have to say my friend, when you said you wanted to train a few Mandalorions in the ways of the force, I thought you meant a handful of students. Creating a whole new Order from scratch will definitely be no easy task for us, especially with Mace and his Army Of Light already on the lookout for you." Qui-Gon said as he walked over and shook Moka's hand.

"That's true that it won't be easy, but with more funds than the Republic, and the new armor I plan to fashion our Templars in, I think we will be able to hold our own until we're able to build our forces up. Until then, I will train you all and a few others in the Perfect Force, then we'll train others in our Code and our ways in the force, slowly but surely building our forces." Moka said, confident that his plan that he's thought through many times would work.

Hearing this, Qui-Gon nodded his head, agreeing with Moka's judgement. For many years, Qui-Gon had butted heads with the Jedi Council and their strict ways and limited thinking on all things. So when he heard Moka's speech and saw his use of Perfect Force, he felt the force tell him that this was his path and was meant to teach Perfect Force to others.

He once thought that Anakin was the Chosen One, but after some time, Qui-Gon now believes that title may now lie with Moka. Between his high midichlorian count, to his deeds, and now this Perfect Force, he was more than ever sure that it is in fact Moka who is meant to restore balance to the force.

"I will gladly join you, my friend and spread the ways of Perfect Force. But, I cannot speak on behalf of Obi-Wan, as I am no longer his master. This decision will be his alone to make." Qui-Gon said as him and everyone else turned to face Obi-Wan.

When Obi-Wan saw all of the attention on him, he felt flustered. On one hand, wanted to follow Qui-Gon and join the Templars, but he couldn't ignore the threat to the love of his life, who if he actually joined the Templars, he'd finally be able to be with. "King Moka, before I make my decision, I have one condition. No harm can befall on Satine Kryze. I have heard tales that you will soon start your campaign to become Mand'alor, which would make her your enemy of sorts. She is the love of my life, so as long as her and her loved ones remain safe from your ire, I will support the Templar Order with my all!" Obi-Wan said with a voice full of determination.

Moka hearing this grew conflicted. He vaguely remembered Obi-Wan and Satine had a fling, but hoped that it wasn't too serious. Seeing no other way, as Obi-Wan was important as well for his skills and being Qui-Gon's former Padawan, Moka reluctantly had to agree. "I am a King, not a brute like some other Mandalorions, Obi-Wan. I swear an oath, that as long as I am in power, I and the Templar Order will make sure that the love of your life, Satine Kryze and her family will remain safe!" Moka declared, smirking slightly when Obi-Wan heard him call her the love of his life.

Relieved that Moka went so far as to even swear an Oath, Obi-Wan no longer had any apprehension about joining the Templar Order. Once he knelt down and performed the same salute that the other did earlier, followed closely by Qui-Gon, Moka felt excited to finally have his own Order. As he helped the two rise, and told them that they are officially the one of the first masters of the Templar Order, out of the corner of his eye, Moka caught Emiry watching him from far away before turning to walk away.

"I'm sorry you guys, but I have something really important to do, I'll meet you all back at the Temple. Anakin, keep being a good kid." Moka said before he rushed off after Emiry. Anakin wanted to chase after his new dad, but was stopped by Qui-Gon as he slowly shook his head, guiding them towards the shuttles.

It took Moka several minutes to finally catch up with Emiry, as they ended up at the back of the hospital, in a more secluded, smaller garden. "Emiry, please wait." Moka called out as he reached out to hold her hand, only for her to quickly move her hand away.

"What do you want now, Moka? Don't you have everything else already? You have the wealth, the power, all the girls you can get your hands on... and you had me, all of me. I was even willing to not be the only girl, but you broke my trust, practically throwing me away as you get the one person I love in this world besides you, pregnant!" Emiry yelled, the force flaring around her as her emotions went haywire.

Moka was at a lose. He never wanted to hurt Emiry in any way, and fought as hard as he could to not sleep with Abbela, but the dark side corruption was too strong for him to overcome. He knew that it was no real excuse, but it is the truth. The truth that Emiry desperately deserves.

As tears streamed from her eyes, Emiry heard a loud thud from behind her and turned around, only to be shocked to see Moka on his knees, bowing slightly to her. Panic immediately entered her heart as the King of Kahlua was now bowing to her in public, though luckily there was no one around. "Moka, what the hell are you doing?! You are the King and swore an Oath to never kneel to anyone!" Emiry said as she tried to force Moka up, but with no luck.

"And I swore an oath to you, an oath I regrettably broke in the worse way. And even worse, I have yet to man up and apologize for my mistake. Emiry, I didn't tell you, as it is something very troubling to me, but I fell to the dark side, and was unknowingly dealing with dark side corruption when I made my mistake. I know that it is no excuse, but it's the truth. I know that you can't forgive me for something like this right away, all I'm asking for is a chance to make things right." Moka said with a voice full of emotion.

The two of them have a strong Force Bond, which allows the other to even feel the others emotions, and even getting effected by them. Both Emiry and Moka cared about each other on a deeper level, so when there feelings intermingled, Moka could feel Emiry's anger slowly dying, and Emiry could feel just how genuinely Moka loved and cared for her. As though it were planned, the two tightly embraced each other, putting their emotions on full display, not caring for who saw.

After a while, the two released the hug. Emiry removing her helmet and wiping her sparkling emerald eyes. "Okay, Mo, I'll give you another chance, but don't think that this means you're off the hook!" Emiry said as she did her best to seem stern, but melted once Moka removed his helmet as well and gave her a loving kiss. When the kiss was done Emiry looked back at him with a faked pout.

"That's no fair! Plus, you can't keep doing that any more Moka. You're going to be married soon, remember?" Emiry said, her tone going slightly cold when she mentioned him marrying another woman.

"To a woman I neither know nor love. But I don't care how messy things get, nothing will change the way I feel about you, Em." Moka said as he held her closely by her waist.

Hearing this, Emiry let out a soft chuckle as she shook her head before resting it on his chest. "Oh Mo, you are definitely a mess. What am I going to do with you, huh?" Emiry relished in the comfort of holding the man she loved.

"Well, I can definitely think if a thing or two." Moka said as he turned her face and brought his lips to hers. The two giggled as they retracted their armor and retreated to the shadows to get more "reacquainted".

On Coruscant

In Palpatines office, Chancellor Palpatine, wearing his Sidious robes, sat in front of a kneeling Mace Windu, who's skin has taken on a slight grey hue, and a yellow ring was beginning to form around his iris. Instead of his almost trade mark thick brown robes, Mace now wore black armored robes and boots. On the right side of his face, Mace wore a black metal half-mask, as well as a purple cybernetic eye to replace the parts that wore damaged in his fight with his former master, Yoda. But now, he had a new Master.

"Mace, have the tasks I asked of you been completed?" asked Sidious on his throne. Secure in his power, Palpatine was already in the process of reorganizing the Republic so that he can take on his new position as Emperor. Now with a new apprentice, thanks to Maul still being on the run after his failure, Sidious can finally put his plans in motion.

"Yes, My Lord. The Army Of Light's new fleet has been officially formed, and has already secured most of the known Core Worlds. All who have stood against us, have fallen." Mace Windu said.

Mace was always in an internal conflict with the dark side, but for the most part had stayed true to the light. But ever since Moka came into the picture, plus with Yoda constantly undermining him, Mace could take no more. Almost at the same time, was when Palpatine came around and began whispering dark thoughts into his heart, slowly pulling him further and further into the dark side. The Jedi Schism, was just his first test, Mace ending up killing many Jedi who didn't submit to him that day, from Master, to even the Younglings.

"Good, good. then from this moment on, no longer shall you be known as Mace Windu. From now on, you will become my apprentice, Darth Rapax!" Sidious declared, which sent a great disturbance through the force, sending chills down every trained force user's spine, Moka included.
