Disturbance

Sweat dripped from Natasha's body, her chest pumped, and her heart beat rapidly. Unconscious bodies were littered around her and a grin was plastered to her face. Her eyes shone brighter with every punch and kick she threw and her body throbbed; Her inner thigh moist from pure excitement.

She felt truly alive, every time she hit one of them, it sent vibrations throughout her body. Stimulating all her cells and sending countless data to her core.

Her power grew and the ease at which she put them down increased. Before she knew it, all the Ysanna were down and she was surrounded by the Rattataki and droids.

She ran her fingers through her hair and brushed it backward. Her head tilted upwards and the corners of her lips rose.

Sheva watched from the side, she could feel the dark side twisting around Natasha at this moment. It gave her the same feeling as when she saw Khan. "She's become more powerful."

She couldn't help but mumble to herself and clench her fist. This whole time she's told herself she was just as good as Natasha, but now she isn't so sure.

Natasha's head leaned to the side and her yellow eyes glanced at Sheva. She licked her lips and smiled at the Rattataki when she felt her subtle movements. She felt her personality was becoming more complete at every moment.

Desires she didn't have before were born in her mind. She never felt the force so clearly as she did now, her thoughts grew more perverse and twisted. She wanted to step on Sheva's face and watch her lick her toes as she mushed her cheek.

She didn't know where these thoughts came from, but she liked them; The desire to dominate others and humiliate them for her pleasure.

"Cuff all of these Ysanna and wake them up, we'll march them back to the other village. I want to make it back to our camp before the sun rises." She took a breath to calm her fluttering emotions.

When Natasha spoke there was an oppressive tone in her voice. Sheva felt it was more dominating than she did before.

"Yes!!" The Rattataki responded to her orders for the first time subconsciously.

Sheva watched all this before moving to help. She now knew she had been left behind. All she can hope for was to complete the task and hope Khan taught her how to utilize the force more efficiently.

With every move they made on Ossus, it sent ripples through the force. A battle of so many force sensitives was not so easy to hide, even if none of them died.

While not as noticeable, it caused a disturbance nonetheless.

--

In the King's Galquek system, the tentative battle in space was still ongoing. Every moment more Sith and Republic ships arrive and the battle lines grew.

Onboard one of the Republic capital ships, a human Jedi with chocolate-colored skin dressed in light brown robes opened his eyes; A slight frown appeared on his lips and he looked a bit disturbed.

"What's wrong Master?" A blue-skinned togruta walked next to him. She wore tight green armor with a blaster at her hip and a double-bladed lightsaber at her waist.

Her most noticeable feature is a braid made of beads hooked onto her circlet and passing over the montrals atop her head.

"I felt a slight disturbance in the force, my Padawan."

"Does it have anything to do with the battlefield? Is it some sort of plot by the Sith?" She felt uneasy when she heard her Master's words. So far, neither side had fully committed.

If they're plotting something now it could mean trouble.

"I'm not sure, It's not far from here. It feels slightly different than the Sith, but also the same." He shook his head, slightly confused by the feeling he received through the force. "Whether it's the Sith planning something or not, it's too close to the battlefield and we need to investigate."

The girl's eyes shone when she heard this. "Master, let me go. I'll scout out the area. I can't just sit and do nothing all day."

He looked at his Apprentice and shook his head. "You're just a Padawan, I can't let you take a mission that could change the course of the war."

"Master, I'd already be a Knight if you didn't volunteer to lead this battle and bring me here. You're a member of the High Council, you can make this a special trial." She didn't give up and looked at her master with hope.

He knew she was right, his Apprentice was fully qualified to become a Knight; But something made him hesitate for a moment. He could feel this mission wasn't so simple.

He finally sighed, he couldn't protect her forever. They've been at war for five hundred years and she'd face danger eventually. He had to believe he trained her well and she was ready. "Go, but run at the first sight of trouble. This is a scouting mission and nothing more."

"Yes, Master!" She clenched her fist in excitement.

He pulled up a star chart and pointed towards the area where he felt the disturbance. "There, it will take you thirteen days to reach it with an A-wing. A larger craft will be seen leaving the formation."

"Don't worry Master, you know I'm an ace pilot." She smiled at her Master before turning to leave.

He watched her leave, he wanted to stop her multiple times but decided against it repeatedly in his head. He had a foreboding feeling that whatever was going on in that part of the galaxy was more serious than he initially felt. "This war has clouded the galaxy in darkness and shrouded our vision. When will this war finally end?"

He sighed and shook his head. "May the force be with you, Amora."

Amora went to the hangar and sat in her A-wing. After checking the systems, she took off for the Ossus system.

--

Natasha marched the Ysanna throughout the night and arrived back at the mountain before dawn. They would have gotten back sooner, but they transported all of their supplies as well.

Besides growing a bulbous plant in the ground, they also raised a small animal full of meat and fat that looked like a rat. It survived by eating moss and leaves from the plants they grew.

She forced the Ysanna to carry their belongings and formed a caravan back.

The droids had already built the pits before they arrived so they were easily moved into their new homes.

"We now have around ten thousand prisoners. There should be another fifty thousand in this area alone." Sheva came to Natasha and delivered her report while they moved towards the library.

"Most of the Ysanna are centered around a mountain range not too far from here, the loose tribes only add up to a little more than five hundred thousand. We'll focus on cleaning up those in our area first to prevent leaks."

"We need more droids, we can't control so many people with the number we have now." Sheva shook her head.

Natasha paused when she heard this. She knew Habitat had more important things to do than create droids for her.

"I think we may have gotten ahead of ourselves. Let's pause our invasion for now. We need to turn some of them to our side. Let's start with the children between ten and three, they should be easier to control. We can also free some of the women periodically to work with the Cereans."

"We must first break their hope before we can truly control them. It will take some time." Sheva gave more input to see how Natasha would react.

"Okay, let them suffer for a bit. Then when we finally free them they will be grateful to us. Make these children see their parents can't protect them anymore." Natasha's eyes flashed and she continued moving.

Sheva didn't follow her this time, she had to oversee the operation of the pits.

Natasha walked into the temple to find droids constantly moving between rooms as they sorted out the library's collection.

She had to walk for a while before she found Khan and Belia meditating in a room filled with books and scrolls.

They both opened their eyes when Natasha walked in. Natasha took the Holocron out of her bag and placed it on the table. "We have just returned Master."

"How many of my future Knights did you capture?" Khan glanced at the Holocron before turning to Natasha.

"Seven hundred children met your criteria and were handed over to the personnel droids for education. We are going to use the other children to supplement our forces."

Khan shook his head when he heard this. "That is a dangerous road, you underestimate the bonds and attachments one can have with their parents and tribe after suffering through harsh conditions."

"Then what should I do my Master? We don't have enough droids to contain them and launch invasions at the same time." Natasha looked at Khan a little confused. According to her calculations, this was a good idea.

"You are blinded." Khan saw his Apprentice's confusion. "Fear is not the only way to rule, that is for shortsighted fools. Fear breeds hatred and hatred breeds rebellion. You can't control them all alone so make them do it for you. Set free entire families and give them privileges and power. If they don't complete the task you assign, their power will be stripped and they will fall back to those they persecuted."

"This will create a caste system, turning them against each other when the overseas don't want to lose their status. This will further divide them against each other and take the focus off you. You just have to sit at the top and control those directly below you."

"When these new masters fully settle into their role they will oppress their own people far better than you ever could. This will also give those with lower status the illusion they are being ruled by their own people and reduce their resistance. Eventually, they will come to see it as their way of life, blinded by the struggles of their fellow tribesmen around them as they fend for themselves."

Natasha's eyes shone when she heard this. "I understand Master, I know what to do."

She turned and left when Khan waved his hand.

Belia looked at Khan, the corners of her lips rose and she gave him a playful look. "I didn't think you'd provide so much help for her. She would most likely have failed if not for your advice."

"She is someone I can trust, watching her fail does me no good. This was meant to let her grow and learn, otherwise, Habitat could have easily completed the task." Khan shook his head and sighed. "She underestimates Habitat's capabilities because her mind isn't connected to the network."

"Only you know how vast Habitat is, you've connected to her with Mechu-deru." Belia rolled her eyes.

A smirk appeared on Khan's face as he grabbed the Holocron and tossed it to Belia. "That's not true, there is another."

Belia caught the Holocron and turned it around in her hand. She knew Khan learned a lot of his strange knowledge of the force through a similar device. She wondered if she could catch up now with this one.

She rose from her seat and flashed Khan a smile. "I'll let you know if it hides anything good."

Khan watched her hips twist as she left the room. He closed his eyes and continued meditating.
