Chapter 38: Preparing For The Jedi

Preperations Arc, Part 4: Wizards and Witches

It has been roughly a month since I had retrieved my family from Mandalore.

I had learned that only Obi-Wan Kenobi had died, whereas all the others had survived.

I spied on the Dutchess and I felt bad for her, but I don't regret what I did in the slightest.

Call me hearless, but you will never understand.

Satine had told Qui-Gon and Ava what had happened.

It seemed that Obi-Wan was very weary from the battle against so many enimies l, compared to Qui-Gon and Ava who only had single enimies to face.

As a result, he wasn't able to create a Force Barrier strong enough to withstand the explosion.

He made a split second choice and used his body to shield Satine from the residual blast of flames.

He died almost instantly.

If Ava had reached him in time, she may have been able to heal him from the brink of death, but taht didn't happen.

With Obi-Wan's death, the events of the Phantom Menace is definitely in jeopardy.

But i was prepare for it, I can only hope not much will change with his absence.

I had made my way back to Dathomir to learn a few more Spells from Talzin that can prove useful for specific scenarios.

As I was in my quarters of my ship, I had received a transmission.

I checked and to my suprise, it was the Jedi.

They finally decided to use the communicator I had left with them.

A holographic projection of me appeared on their end, while I saw their figures in my helmet like an VR headset.

Adrian: "Greetings Jedi. To what do I owe the pleasure of conversing with you?"

Yoda: "In person, Speak with you, we wish to."

Adrian: "What about?"

Windu: "You know exactly what this is about. The Relics and Records you stole from the Jedi Temple."

Adrian: "Hmm, very well. You would just keep coming after me until we converse. I have conditions if we are to meet."

Windu: "Go on..."

Adrian: "Send only a single Jedi Master of the following names on a list I will be sending to the communicator you used to contact me. And no Jedi from the Jedi Councils of the various spires are permitted either."

Yoda: "Anything else?"

Adrian: "No. I will be available for a meeting in roughly two weeks, I will contact you again when I am available. The location is Dathomir, at these Coordinates."

Shortly after the meeting with the Jedi, I began to prepare for it.

I contacted Talzin and informed her that i am having a meeting with an Jedi Master representative, on Dathomir 2 weeks from now.

She wasn't particularly happy since she would have to inform the current Mother of the Nightsister Clan about this, since she wasn't annoyed that position as of yet.

However, it seems that all my deeds and various aid I provided the Nightsisters over time had finally paid off, and the current Mother had decided to support my decision.

Talszin will act as tge mediator between the both sides, ensuring that she remains neutral and no hostilies or favouritism takes place.

I told Talzin that as compensation for this, I would do her a favour in the future regarding her son Maul.

She questions what it is.

I told her that would defeat the purpose of the deal l had given to her. I only said that she will be indebted to me for it.

I also said that I will cancel the debt and make it so she doesn't need to be obliged to pay repay me if she does this meeting instead.

Needless to say, everything was working out well as I now had her playing in the palms of my hands.

Everything was going according to plan.
