War for Rannoch

John and his fleet had just jumped into the system where the planet Rannoch was located and already their sensors were detecting Geth ships all around the planet Rannoch also Geth installations were detected and they were massive in number.

John was on his capital ship the supercarrier which he name The Redemption. He was in the center of the fleet along with 3 other supercarriers and on the outside of the fleet were the destroyers, cruisers, strike cruisers, battleships, battlecruisers, etc that he had made.

He had fully mastered his new power and could make a lot of things without getting tired too fast. In the fleet with John was Ronin who was at the front, Starfire who since she arrived here she has begun following John around a lot and accompanying him everywhere. Thanos was attacking the other location that the Geth were at which housed almost half of their fleet which numbered around 5k-10k ships.

Above Rannoch John could see that the Geth Armada was hiding behind the thousands of space stations that were above Rannoch. Charging head into the fight against thousands of space stations would cause major casualties so that's why John had prepared a weapon just for this.

In front of John's fleet was a group of ships numbering over 100 and they had a special weapon that was much similar to the UNSC MAC cannon but instead of piercing a ships hull once it hits its target it will cause a massive explosion that will hist other targets that are in the blast radius and destroy them. It could be fired from a very long range so John wasn't worried about the ships getting destroyed since they won't be in the Geth weapons range.

John named this the MAC2 since it was similar to the original Halo MAC. The ships with the MAC2 had lined up in the front of the fleet and once they got into range to fire the MAC2 all ships fired it at the same time each shot hitting different areas of space where the space stations were located.

Over 60% of the Geth space stations were destroyed in that attack to John had his fleet begin engaging the enemy in a coordinated way since the Geth and their intelligence probably had formations and such for this thing but the Geth were outnumbered literally 2:1 and with the weaponry that John made that had superior firepower than any ship in the Galaxy, the Geth wouldn't last too long.

The Geth Armada had revealed itself and begin advancing through the wreckage of the destroyed stations and begin engaging John's fleet head-on. Thousands of fighters from both sides were launched and started engaging each other with the Geth having the numerical advantage but John's fighters had the Firepower and speed to contend with the Geth fighters. All fighters were operated by Droids so their strategies were elite and they could work together efficiently since they were all connected.

The MAC2 ships had retreated to the back of the fleet to avoid getting destroyed since they were made to only fire the MAC2 and not for head-on combat with a fleet.

As the battle went on John had signaled for the Quarians to come and flank the Geth since they were distracted and this would catch them off guard so the Quarians with their 20k fleet led by Admiral Zaal'Koris vas Qwib-Qwib had come through the Relay and engaged the Geth fleet.

As the Quarian fleet engaged the Geth from the side the Geth had shown signs of wanting to retreat since they were now severely outnumbered but the Geth also had noticed that the attacking force had sentient droids similar to themselves which made them wonder who was attacking them.

The Geth were looking at defeat until another Geth fleet had jumped through the Relay numbering around 10k ships which combined with the current Geth fleet which was lowered from 15k down to 8k had a total fleet of 18k ships.

As John had seen the Geth ships come into the system he thought that they must be some other fleet that was at another one of the Geth worlds. John had split his fleet up ordering 15k Rachni ships to engage the new Geth fleet while the rest will continue fighting the current fleet.

From the original 30k Rachni ships 3k were destroyed making it 27k Rachni ships while the Quarians had lost only a few hundred.

From the perspective of a fighter pilot, all you could see were explosions everywhere around you with ships firing on other ships and Geth fighters getting destroyed it was hectic and got even more hectic as the battle went on.

John didn't plan to destroy all Geth he just wanted to get to the place where all the Geth consciousness was stored so that he could release a program into their system that will make them stop fighting and he had found something like that was located on the planet so all he needed to do was wait until his fleet pushes through and then he can land his army on the planet to fight the Geth.

As the Geth ships were getting destroyed you could see escape pods being ejected out of the ships and heading to the surface of the planet. In just a few more hours of battle, the Geth would be beaten and then it would be time to take the planet.
