123 Saving the Child

Within their initial scans of the Galaxy the Imperium crew had picked up a distress signal from a ship not too far from where they were at.

So John ordered his ship to head towards that location while also having small scout ship's go and check the area out first.

These small scout ship's were small enough to be in the hanger of his Capital ship along with a hundred other fighter/bomber craft and some troop transports.

The pilot's of the ship had activated the ship's engines and started heading towards the distress signal location while the scout ship's located in the hanger were still getting ready.

It didn't take long as a few minutes later the scout ship's were done and they had departed for the location of the distress signal.

John who was sitting on his throne in the middle of the ship's bridge surrounded by Royal Guards was looking at the reports that were submitted by the Imperium council about some small incidents in the Mass Effect Galaxy.

These incident's involved rising tensions between the Citadel council and his Federation which has become more powerful and influential than the Citadel council.

John just swiped the report away and looked at the next report since he didn't care what the Citadel council thought as they could do nothing to him right now. While they were crying about the balance of power he was on a mission to become a god something that the council couldn't even hope to understand.

As he was about to get into the next report he had received an alert from the Captain of the ship.

"Your majesty the scout ship's have reported that they have located a ship at the coordinates that we got from that distress signal and it appears to be a lot of debris from the ship in the area" Reported the Captain

"Okay have them scan the area for survivors or anything and once we arrive I want to send a boarding party over to the ship immediately" Ordered John. He wanted to make sure that whoever did this wasn't anywhere around at the time so that he can find out exactly what happened.

After a few more minutes John's ship had reached the location and a boarding party was launched to board the ship.

From it's size and what the scans showed this ship should be civilian ship since it had no weapons.

Once the boarding party had landed on one of the open parts in the hull of the ship they had activated their magnet boots that allowed them to stay on the ship without floating away and proceeded to a door leading to the inside of the ship.

The door was sealed shut so the boarding party had to cut the door open which would allow the oxygen to leak out of the ship but they had a device for that which when deployed would block the hole that they cut in the hull of the ship.

This device was also the cutter which would make the whole, so you could say that it was a two for one since not only will it cut the hole but it will prevent the oxygen from escaping the ship.

As for how it does that John decided to leave that for the scientists to explain.

Once the hole was opened the device immediately deployed and had stopped the oxygen from pouring out of the ship while the Clone troopers stepped through.

Yes Clone troopers because John wanted to go back to using Star Wars technology and troops only they were different since all the ships were more powerful than any ship in the history of Star Wars and the technology was combined with all the technology that John had in his Empire.

All the scientists from various Galaxies had come together and started developing newer and better technology.

But anyways back to the ship, the boarding party had made it inside and had begin to explore the ship searching for survivors.

It didn't take them long to find that the survivors were found a some storage room hiding in the corners.

It was about 20 people hiding in various placed of the storage room. But none of them were armed so the Clone troopers didn't aim their guns at anybody and instead had lowered them since they didn't detect any weapons from any of the people in the room.

That's when in the center of the room they saw a group of aliens surrounding a small child that had a piece of the ship going through their chest.

Upon seeing this the clone troopers immediately called for the medic in their team.

The medic had rushed over towards the child causing the aliens so back away. The medic didn't worry about the other aliens and had only focused on saving the child's life.

He could see that the child had lost a lot of blood and was starting to fade so he used his equipment to dislodge the piece of metal that was going through the little boy and at the same time stopped the bleeding from happening.

The medic was not a good user of magic so all he could do was to stabilize the child until medics who could use magic showed up.

On the ship John had decided to accompany the medics that were going to board the ship so that he can see what was happening.

Once the they made their way on the ship they headed to the location of the child. Once their John had looked around the room and had seen the aliens all looking at the child with hope in their eyes.

But now that the Medics who could use magic were here everything would be fine. The Child was successfully healed within seconds and the all the aliens starting cheering.

One of them came up to the soldier's and had started thanking them in their language but since the clone trooper had on a language translator they could understand and communicate back to them.

"No problem we of the Imperium always help people in need" Said the clone trooper to the Alien.

The Alien looked up at him confused "What is the Imperium is that another Empire or something" asked the Alien.

All of the were confused on what the Imperium was until John interrupted.

"First please tell us who you are and why you are here" Said John

The Alien looked at John before he started to explain "Well it all started with the Kree Empire who decided to attack us since we were in hiding from them so we had fled out planet and......"
