Hutt War Part 2

On the Shuttle, John was accompanied by Kina and Atra and 4 ECD's. Outside the shuttle, you could hear sounds of blasters going off and other shuttles flying through the sky.

The shuttles were all heading for the independent city of New Vertica which was a city that fought for its independence from the Hutt's and after a brief struggle was granted independence as long as it pays tribute to the Hutts. Though the city had already requested help from the Hutt Military so they sent soldiers to defend the city and also use this as an opportunity to take back the city.

This would serve as the Command post for all of the New Order military operations on the planet.

As they got closer to the city the shuttles landed a little bit away from the city as they would get shot down so John accompanied by Kina, Atra, 4 ECD's, and 20k clones waited for the reinforcements from the capital ships that entered the atmosphere.

20 minutes later shuttles had come delivering more clones and some vehicles and tanks. Overhead above the city fighters was already shooting the small Hutt army in the city. John would use bombers but he didn't want to kill any innocent civilians or destroy any buildings.

After the shuttles dropped off the reinforcements John had everybody load up in the transports and head for the city.

It took them around 15 minutes to reach the city because of small skirmishes along the way but luckily they took no casualties.

As they approached the city they could see many bodies of the Hutt army and crashed fighters from the New Order.

After walking through the entrance of the city John split the soldiers up into groups of 50 to cover the whole city and kill or capture any lingering Hutt soldiers.

Johns group consisted of 200+ soldiers and were walking to the Governers Palace in the center of the city. Along the way, a group of soldiers hidden in nearby buildings had ambushed Johns group.

While the soldiers took cover in nearby buildings to return fire John, Kina, and Atra pulled out their lightsabers and deflected the incoming blaster shots while moving forward. The soldiers seeing this had moved up soldiers with energy shields behind John while the others got behind the shields and returned fire.

The 4 ECD's had rushed and began to murder any enemy they see. The Hutt soldiers seeing these massive droids move so fast were scared and felt fear.

Although John's soldiers had personal shields they weren't as powerful as The Spartans or special forces and could only take so much damage before the shield's energy would deplete. And even then the armor they were wearing could defend against some blaster shots but too much and the blasters would penetrate the armor and kill them.

The soldiers weren't scared of death so some of them stood with John while returning fire to the enemies.

Kina and Atra had rushed a group of soldiers and forced pushed them against the wall then ran to kill the next group. John seeing the twins having fun and stealing the glory also rushed a group by himself and used force lightning on them.

The only thing to remain of the Hutt soldiers were burned bodies all on the ground.

As the battle went on more Hutt soldiers came as reinforcements but were quickly killed when the tanks had rolled up to reinforce Johns group.

The tank in question was a retrofitted scorpion tank that used star wars weaponry and had a personal shield. The tank had continued to move forward with soldiers following behind while John, Kina, and Atra were in front killing the Hutt soldiers.

After 20 more minutes of fighting the remaining Hutt, soldiers surrendered as most of them were slaves and mercenaries.

John had the captured soldiers secured in a small building escorted by more than 50 soldiers.

The remaining way to the Governor's Palace was met with resistance but after the tank rolled up the enemies were defeated and the remaining gave up.

After securing the Governers Palace John had received reports that the city was secure so he ordered some soldiers to establish this as the Military Headquarters on the planet.

Now that he had a foothold John sent soldiers to secure the surrounding area around the city so he can start calling transports to land.

After securing the area around the city John had Kina and Atra take a detachment of clones and go take the nearest city. Most of the airspace around the planet was controlled by The New Order so John had them transported to the city on shuttles and sent a detachment of fighters also.

After sending off Kina and Atra John were receiving reports from the different commanders that all the major cities were all ready conquered and they were currently establishing military bases and calling for more reinforcements than after they establish a military base and get more droids or soldiers they would move out to conquer surrounding areas.

John was also glad to hear that the Ibaarians were doing good and suffered minimal casualties after conquering a city.

Once John had received all the reports from the armies across the planet he ordered some soldiers to search the whole palace for any hidden valuables.

Since the area around the city was secured John called for transports to land reinforcements and extra vehicles and some medics to heal the wounded soldiers.

POV Jedi order

Master Yoda could feel the fear of many who were perishing and seen visions of massive droids killing hundreds of soldiers. He didn't know what the Force was trying to tell him but knew that it wasn't good because those droids moved so fast and were massive and could possibly kill a Jedi master with their speed. Then in the vision, he had seen some Hutts who were fighting the Droids and figured that it must the war between the New Order and the Hutt clan.

Master Yoda had sent some Master Jedi at the request of the republic to mediate the situation between the New Order and the Hutt clan but the Envoys were unsuccessful.

Master Yoda knew that if the New Order went to war with the Hutts that a lot of lives would be lost but many would also be freed that's why when the Jedi Masters returned he wasn't worried as he already had made a decision to accept what would happen.

Mace Windu who also saw these visions knew that those droids posed a threat to the Jedi Order but he couldn't do anything because if he intervened in the war many Jedi could die and also many people would question why the Jedi Order intervened in the war when the Hutts were murderers and slavers which would cause people to doubt the Orders righteousness.

Seeing he couldn't do anything Mace only thought of how these droids would prove to be troublesome in the future as he knows that conflict with the New Order is inevitable.
