98 Expansion into New Galaxies

After a couple of weeks, people from both galaxies were allowed to pass through the Wormhole Gate. The Council had asked for The Imperium to allow the Wormhole Gate to be accessible to everyone and for public use, which John was already planning to do so when they asked he just agreed with them.

The Wormhole Gates would be closely monitored by Imperium forces, since both were located in Imperium controlled space. A lot of traffic could cause some people to get out of order, so Imperium security forces were there to make sure that nobody got out of hand and everything was orderly.

There were a lot of people that wanted to travel between the two Galaxies, so much that the Space around the Wormhole Gates were often filled with ships of people trying to visit the other Galaxy. After a few weeks of the Gates being open the space traffic was getting out of hand, so John had announced the construction of another wormhole Gate near the Galactic Federation Space Station located in the Mass Effect Galaxy.

This would promote more trade in the region, although the trading was already high it would increase even more. The Council had opted to build it near the Citadel since they still saw the Citadel as the Center of the Galaxy, but John just denied them since if he builds it there he doesn't have that much military authority there since it was a place for all races of the Galaxy to meet and having a dominating military presence would cause some problems for other races.

John of course has the power to do what he wants, but he doesn't want to cause problems for the Galaxy and make it seem like he is trying to take over and what not or show off his military, plus nobody in the Galaxy was his enemy yet.

The council couldn't do anything since nobody wanted to poke the Dragon, so they just grumbled over their failed request. While in the face of smaller races, the Council power was domineering since they often looked to appease the Council members and get in their favor. To the Imperium, the Council was of no use or needed really and was only there since the galaxy needed something like a Council to keep order and have a place where all races could come together.

While the Citadel Council was more pro Imperium than before, they still felt threatened by the imperiums power and influence over the Galaxy, especially since they learned of an entire Galaxy that is Imperium territory.

After the whole thing with the Council was over, John had announced a New massive initiative that was postponed by the Galaxy. The Andromeda Initiative which John worked together with the Systems Alliance to start and many other races. And now with the Galaxy at peace, it was the perfect time to begin the initiative.

Every race that is participating in the initiative is responsible for building their own Ark. Some smaller races like the Krogan which were growing stronger since they were cured of the genophage had opted to join bigger empires in their Arks.

The Imperium would have multiple Arks, numbering 3. Each Ark could hold 30k Colonists and had weapons on it for safe measure, since John already knew what the Galaxy contained in. The one chosen as the Pathfinder for the Imperium Arks were Luke, Laya and Zinn. All of John's current Children wanted to go since they had nothing to do and going to a new Galaxy sounded fun to them.

Laya was actually chosen as the Leader for the Initiative, With Luke and Zinn being a Pathfinder. Other roles for the Initiative Council were filled with people from other races. John didn't mind his kids going to another Galaxy since he knew that they were strong enough to defend themselves and plus he would be sending extra protection with them just in case.

The 3 Imperium Arks were massive and had all the specialist it needed to operate and to start building once they reach the Galaxy. He had already informed them of the strange energy cloud that will appear once they arrive.

While the Andromeda Voyage took over 600 years of travel, a Transwarp engine was made so that the voyage would instead be a couple of months, and they would appear in the Canon timeline when the Kett had already invaded the Galaxy and was fighting with the Angara.

This time for the Initiative would be different since they were well-prepared since John warned them of what would be present once they arrive.

The Wormholes were not usable for the voyage since they needed a precise location to send objects and John didn't have the exact location of where to send them, thus the need for the Transwarp drives. But once they arrive, construction of a Wormhole Gate could be underway.

-----

While the whole Andromeda initiative thing was going on, John had received from the System access to a buildable Wormhole Gate from the system. He had got this to replace the reward for a wormhole location to the Vong Galaxy which couldn't rewarded, so instead he got a blueprint to build a Wormhole Gate to the Stargate Galaxy.

At this point, John thought that the system was just giving him things now, since he often received a new power or some type of blueprint when he needed it.

But forgetting about that, John was wondering what he should do in the Stargate Galaxy since after that he will probably go to another Galaxy, possible Warhammer 40k or Star Trek. He was leaning towards Star Trek since he wasn't sure if he was ready for that Galaxy just yet since it was probably on another level than his current military.

So most likely John planned to first go to Star Gate then Star Trek and then will he be ready for the Warhammer 40k universe. That is his prediction, and to him, it sounded pretty good.
