23 Ahsoka's Training & New Ship

After half an hour, the three of them could be seen inside the previous circular training room that Anakin and Silas had used.

But the one stark difference was Ahsoka's attire, her usual mini-skirt and tank top were long gone, replaced with a gray lightly armored outfit comprised of two wrist bands that hugged her body firmly.

"What do you think?" Silas questioned curiously, him and Anakin had been searching for armor that could actually protect her dignity and well being, unlike the inappropriate mini-skirt and tank top that she would normally wear.

So Silas proposed the idea of her current armor which he remembered from the Clone Wars, Season 7.

Ahsoka glanced down at her armor with a smirk, "It's amazing, it feels and looks much better than my previous outfit."

Silas nodded in agreement, "You should always aim to cover your self modestly, and not wear such inappropriate clothes, especially as a Jedi."

Ahsoka eyes locked onto Silas as she had an amused smile, "Is that what you prefer?"

Silas curiously raised his brow, but nevertheless nodded his head, "Yeah if I were to ever date someone she would have to be a girl who doesn't reveal too much and only shows her intimate parts to me-"

Anakin briskly nudged the side of Silas's shoulder with an awkward cough, "Ahem, she's 14, can you shut your mouth." He spoke quietly, prompting Silas to chuckle.

Ahsoka's face contorted into annoyance at being treated like a child, but before she could even retort, a spinning lightsaber suddenly enveloped her vision.

A bead of sweat appeared on her nervous expression as a black saber was stopped only inches away from her neck, floating aimlessly.

Her eyes trailed back up as she noticed Silas was still beside Anakin, but one of his hands were slightly raised in a casual manner.

Silas then slowly approached her figure with a face full of disappointment, "Tsk, you lack the instinct, because if that was in a real battle, your head would have been cleaved off just like that."

Ahsoka tried to step back from the saber, but as soon as she took a step it would simply follow her movements, not giving her any space, she could only be dumbfounded at the sudden mood change.

But Silas finally stopped in front of her as he grabbed the saber and deactivated it, "You've been coddled by the Jedi, and lack any sort of instinct which could very well save your life. But starting from today, I'm going to make sure you know what pain feels like."

"Come at me with everything you've got."

Ahsoka didn't even respond as she watched him with a tense expression, Anakin himself was sitting in the corner of the room with a content smile at the training method.

It was silent for a few seconds as Ahsoka seemed conflicted on whether or not she should attack, but she finally made up her mind as she lunged at him.

Slashing her green saber in a horizontal arc, but Silas simply raised a hand and halted her green saber mid-air effortlessly.

He then began speaking once again, "You see back at Geonosis you only fought droids, you've never fought a serious force-user. So what are you gonna do if I take your lightsaber away?" And not even a second later her saber was yanked out of her hand by a magnetic force, with Silas catching it and placing it on his belt.

Ahsoka determinedly glared as she dashed forward and threw a punch, prompting Silas to simply send a speeding kick to her unguarded ribs without even moving a step.

"Agh!-" With a yelp, her figure roughly tumbled against the ground.

She then angrily got up as her eyes locked onto Silas's.

Running forward again, but once she got close to Silas, a fist abruptly crashed against her face, sending her back into the ground.

Anakin's previous smile was nowhere to be found as he seriously watched the one sided beating go on, but he wasn't against it as he also had similar ideas.

'While this may seem harsh for Ahsoka now, it'll be beneficial for her future, she needs to understand the gap between a skilled force user and a regular Padawan so that she can grow even more.'

After a few minutes of Ahsoka getting beat down, Silas finally stopped.

"That's all for today, go to the medical bay and treat those bruises, we'll continue tomorrow." He said as he tossed her lightsaber back.

Ahsoka had a discontent expression as she caught the lightsaber, "You can't be serious, that was only a few minutes."

Silas was going to simply brush her off, but noticed her turmoil of emotions, so he crouched down in front of her with a smug smile, "Look, just trust me on this. I know this beating may seem pointless, but we all start somewhere, just like how me and Anakin weren't always at this level of strength."

"We grew through lessons that may seem boring, or even baseless, but as your masters it's our duty to make sure you can take care of yourself, so you just have to have faith in us."

Ahsoka meaningfully looked into Silas's green clear eyes, and just sighed, "I understand, I'll try my best." But even when saying those words her head was still low while exiting the room with a limp, leaving the two Masters alone.

Anakin approached Silas with a wistful smile, "Don't worry she'll come around, she's probably just mad at you for beat the living crap out of her."

Silas just scoffed, "No shit sherlock."

But his eyes gained a glint of remembrance as he looked toward Anakin, "And by the way, you don't have to make the hoverboard I asked for before, I decided to trash the idea."

Anakin just shrugged as he asked, "If that's the case, wanna have a little friendly competition?"

Silas seemed interested as he indicated for him to continue.

"Let's see who can win the more spars." Anakin dared.

Silas had a smirk full of mischief as he replied, "Then put down 1 million credits."

Anakin didn't even hesitate as he immediately pulled out his blue saber, causing Silas to react by igniting his own black saber.

Zzzzz!

They swung their arms forward with immense force as their lightsabers clashed, menacingly face to face only inches away.

"Your on." Anakin grinned.

....

...

..

And in a blink of an eye, several days had passed of medical check ups for the clones, with training sessions for Ahsoka in between, nonetheless Silas's legion was officially cleared of inhibiting chips, and they don't even know it.

Now he was currently standing in the center of Coruscant's Main Military Installment which was the main base where all the clones and vehicles were posted at.

His eyes roamed around as he saw hundreds of clones, military Gunships and vehicles idling around. Clones would salute him when passing by, before continuing on with their day.

The reason he was even there was because the Chancellor asked to meet with him here.

And speak of the devil, at the corner of his eyes he noticed Palpatine's red robed figure arrive with a dozen of red clone troopers trailing behind him.

"Silas it's nice to see you again." He greeted with his usual smile.

Silas in his white military uniform did a curt nod, "Same to you sir."

"How's Thrawn doing in his assessments?" Palpatine asked with a curious brow.

He nodded in content while replying, "He's doing pretty amazing, in only a few days he's absorbed an immense amount of information, already rivaling experienced admirals, in a few more weeks he'll be tactician with no equal... Adding to the fact that he practically lives inside the library, he'll be ready for battle soon."

Palpatine hummed in approval as he says, "I see, that's very good. But you're probably wondering on why I called you here, so I'll be frank...

You and Anakin will be deployed in 3 weeks time, so I need you to be ready for battle."

Silas's expression couldn't help but faintly brighten at the prospect, causing Palpatine to chuckle.

"You seem excited for war?" He questioningly mumbled.

Silas calmly shook his head, "Rather it being excitement, it's something more akin to determination and confidence... With me involved in this war, I can finish it fastest with my capabilities, ending it in the shortest amount of time."

Palpatine lightly laughed at his assured tone, "I see, the Republic will be supporting you as best as we can..."

But Silas wasn't listening, as inwardly he raised a brow, 'Now that I think about it, do I actually enjoy war?'

He shook his head, it wasn't that he enjoyed war itself, it was something more, something he couldn't be sure of currently, or was it?

Breaking out of his thoughts, he noticed Palpatine continued speaking.

"Actually that wasn't the only reason I called you here."

However, before Palpatine even finished speaking, Silas's head swiftly looked upward with narrowed eyes, there was something large.

An object out of sight, beyond even the clouds, was flaring Silas's senses of danger.

"What the..." He couldn't help but mutter in sheer astonishment as his eyes were still locked to the sky.

The biggest ship he'd ever seen just split apart the clouds as it slowly hovered above Coruscant.

Larger than even the Venator, it's imposing figure cast a shadow above the base itself, catching the attention of all the clones, and citizens at their homes.

"Is that-" Before Silas could finish speaking, Palpatine expression adjourned a prideful smile as he resumed his words.

"This is the Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer, it's a one of a kind, and it will be under the command of your legion, with the appropriate Admiral of course."

Palpatine's tone then turned in to admiration, "It's over 1,600 meters long, crewed by 9,235 officers, can hold over 27,350 enlisted personnel, and has over 275 gunners. Adding to the fact that the ship itself has over 60 turbolasers, 60 ion cannons, and 10 projector beams, it's one fearsome ship that'll make the enemies think twice before attacking..."
