97 Chapter 95

2 Months Later

On Coruscant the former Jedi Grand Temple had been turned into the New Imperial Palace for the Emperor.

While the Republic Galactic Senate Building was turned into the Imperial Senate Building where the Imperial Senate will reside and the hundreds of senators and delegates would meet to pass laws and discuss legislation.

At the Imperial Palace, Emperor Palpatine was meeting with all of the Imperial Grand Admirals via Hologram to report all of their progress so far.

"Your Majesty, We have managed to secure the Sector's of Corusca, Alderaan, Koros, and Deadalis which are all in vicinity to Coruscant to ensure the Security of Coruscant" Reported Grand Admiral Octavian Grant.

Grand Admiral Octavian Grant was a Human male of Noble birth who saw himself as superior to those who were not members of the nobility, and held a particular dislike for droids and other species. And although he was one of the least popular Grand Admirals, and did not attempt to curry favor with the Imperial moffs. He is one of the 12 Grand Admiral's appointed by Emperor Palpatine.

"Very good, Grand Admiral Grant, now continued to consolidate Imperial influence in those Sector's, I shall appoint you as the Imperial Moff of that territory should you complete your task" Said Emperor Palpatine.

"I will bring the hammer down on all those who oppose Imperial rule" Replied Grand Admiral Octavian

Next Emperor Palpatine turned towards the next Grand Admiral who started his report of his progress.

"Your majesty, I have secured the Japrael sector and have proceeded with the plans of invading the Confederacy Territory once your meeting with them is over" Reported Grand Admiral Josef Grunger

Grand Admiral Grunger was a Human male and one of the twelve original beings elevated to the rank of Grand Admiral by Emperor Palpatine. Neither subtle nor loyal by nature, Grunger nonetheless remained devoted to Palpatine until he sees a chance to grab power for himself.

"My Apprentice Darth Maul should be arriving at the meeting with all of the executives of the CIS along with a few inquisitor's who will kill all of them and take over their territory so that we can exert Imperial Influence to the rest of the Galaxy" Explained Palpatine.

"Then my Lord once that is done I will be ready to move on the Confederacy world's with my Armada" Replied Grand Admiral Grunger.

Emperor Palpatine moved on and talked with the rest of the Grand Admiral's which included:

-Grand Admiral Ishin-Il-Raz

-Grand Admiral Afsheen Makati

-Grand Admiral Danetta Pitta

-Grand Admiral Peccati Syn

-Grand Admiral Rufaan Tigellinus

And there was one more Grand Admiral who was currently involved in another project located in the Unknown region's. His name was Grand Admiral Thrawn and he was a more recent addition to the Imperial Grand Admiral's and the only non-human.

He was appointed after he defeated Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin who attempted to start a coup against Emperor Palpatine prior to the war with the Republic. At the time Grand Admiral Thrawn was a Vice Admiral but Emperor Palpatine saw that his abilities could be used for the greater good of the Empire so he appointed him Grand Admiral.

Once the meeting was over with the Grand Admiral's Emperor Palpatine had waited for the good news from his apprentice Darth Maul.

Meanwhile on the planet of Chanosant the Separatist Council and all the High member's of the Confederacy was gathered to meet with with Emperor Palpatine.

But instead of a friendly meeting Count Dooku was planning on betraying his Master in front of all the delegates. Of course by himself he could not do this which is why General Grievous was with him. Count Dooku also brought his protege Asajj Ventress to assist him as well.

And Hiding somewhere in the Facility that they were in was a Battalion of Commando Droid's, and Droidekas.

He had been a Pawn for far too long and now he planned to Break free and form his own Empire.

Outside of the facility three transport's and an escort of Tie fighter's were seen landing at the Landing outside.

Count Dooku went outside with General Grievous and Asajj Ventress accompanying him to greet his soon to be former Master.

But when the transport doors of them shuttle opened what came out was not what he expected. A large number of Force User's or to be exact Inquisitor's had came ran out of the shuttle's with their Lightsaber's drawn.

Count Dooku didn't waste anytime and drew his Lightsaber. General Grievous and Asajj Ventress did the same.

"Activate the droid's" Said Count Dooku as he was talking to the device in his hand which was a communicator.

And not even second's later droid's were deployed and had joined the fight against the invading Imperial forces. 

Meanwhile above space the Separatists fleet had suddenly came under fire by Imperial ship's who had just jumped out of hyperspace.

And now it was an all out battle between the Massive Imperial Armada of Star Destroyer's against the Separatists who didn't have the fire power to contend with the Imperial Star Destroyer's.
