New Ottawan Dilemma

As the meeting came to its end, Commander Perry and the Heroes of Ottawa left OSB and returned to the crowds. Commander Perry stepped into his Humvee. You have two weeks to organize a meeting with Congress, otherwise, we march troops. 

As the humvees rolled out, the Ghost called for an immediate counsel meeting. 

Ghost, what is going on?

Within the next two weeks, we must organize a meeting with the US Congress or they will order the US Military to attack us.

Wait Congress? asked the Busch Hunter startled. You mean they sat by and let all of this happen, let us fight and die just to step in at the last minute to claim everything we've worked for?

Unfortunately, yes. Juno, find the Japanese ambassadors. See if they'll assist in Operation New Ottawan Absolutism. Everyone else, we need to make a compelling case to Congress. Busch Hunter, we will hold a town hall meeting once Juno has completed her mission. Tempest, I want you, Blades and the Watcher all to get an count for all of our resources. Ask the Overlord for assistance. 

As the meeting ended, Juno went to find the Japanese Ambassadors while Tempest, Blades and the Watcher gathered a list of supplies. 

Meanwhile the Ghost met with Keith, Cassie, Barbara, Archie, Clancy and a few other key figures of leadership within New Ottawa. After catching everyone up to speed on the current situation, the room was silent with heavy thought.

I know what I am asking seems crazy, but if Juno succeeds, we have a secondary way to make sure nothing that happened, ever happens to us again. added the Ghost as he took a drink of water.

Child...If your plans work, we need to sure the citizens are onboard. said Barbara, clasping her hands.

I know, that is why nothing will happen until we hear from Juno.  

We'll have our work cut out for us, regardless what choice we make. So, while we wait on the supply reports for the four other heros, and the report from Juno, we need to make sure everyone here in the city is well and in good health before we make this push. said Archie as he opened a smarties candy.

The Ghost nodded and looked around the room. Everyone in the room was willing to make a massive step forwards, all they needed was a little luck and some time to make it happen.
