A Beast That Could Breathe Fire?

Amon was silent "No… just wanted to ask," he said to him.

Kiddo looked at him

'Don't think about it, my family is too strong… there are many who are strong as my father and much stronger than him' Kiddo said to him.

"Oh… are they going to look for you?" Amon asked him. He would be in real trouble if Kiddo's family sees him with Kiddo.

'No, as I said this place is no one's territory, our territory is on somewhere far from here, and they will not look for someone small as me' Kiddo said to him.

Amon sighed in relief after hearing it, but felt a little bad… he didn't have family, but someone who have it was also the same as him. No one was there for them to worry about them, or they needed to worry about.

"Anyway, I will go train some time" Amon said, he felt too many emotions now, so he wanted to do the same thing he would do daily. Train his body to the strongest.

Kiddo just sat silent as Amon took his shirt off, revealing his body which was like an artist making a beautiful painting.

He started his workout.

'Hmm, I just need to sleep and hunt, that is all… who hunts more, will become strong' Kiddo said to Amon.

'Yes… but you don't know how difficult that is, once you started to get stronger, small beasts won't help you, you need to hunt higher beasts that are too strong. This depends on luck and their battle experience, etc. A weak person could defeat a strong person too if they think about it and fight' Kiddo said

After that, he started doing other workouts.

Kiddo nodded and became silent.

'But don't think you can win against me, no matter who is strong. I will win' Kiddo said to him with a smile.

Amon also just smiled, he already picked up and big stone and thrown it on top of the Kiddo's head.

'My barrier is always on, even when I sleep, and you are still at beginner level' said Kiddo with a mocking smile.

"Let's see about that," Amon said and threw other stones which covered every side of the barrier.

'You are wasting your time' Kiddo said as a powerful force took away all rocks with a boom.

Amon looked at this in a shock, he didn't expect there was a skill like this.

Kiddo walked away from there as Amon sat on the rock.

"I need to get more skills…" Amon thought, he understood that with more skills and spells, he would become strong. With his condition now he would not be able to make a barrier itself.

"Sigh" he felt if he was teleported into an academy or anything, he would have many teachers and experienced people with many sources to learn… but here? Nothing… and beasts and humans have had two different ways to get strong.

"Fuck this…" Amon thought and continued to workout even harder. "I understood one too, in front of absolute power, no matter how strong you are, there is no way to win!"

It was sunset and Amon sat in front of the bear Kiddo brought, he was not wearing his shirt, it was a white shirt.

There was a small pond near their place, that was where Amon drank and washed his shirt and bathed.

"I will not eat this" Amon said and looked at the hairy bear. He already felt bad in his stomach…

'No one is forcing you though…' Kiddo said to him while eating his dinner.

Amon didn't know what to say… he gulped and took the sharp rock and started to cut it… it was bloody and disgusting, but there was no other choice for him. He brought water with buckets he made from leaves here, they were strong and long.

After cleaning the meat, he wanted to roast it with fire, even though there was nothing here, he found some leaves which taste good, he wanted to add that flavor to the meat so he made a few blows with leave and some sticks, and squeezed the leaves which had flavors with his hands and took out the flavor.

"Now… this is something hard…" he gathered some dry small branches and tried to make a fire with rocks, but it didn't work.

'What are you trying…' Kiddo asked

"I want to make fire"

'Fire? Hmm, I think I know a beast that could let out fire from its mouth' Kiddo said to him.

"What? Really?" Amon stopped trying and looked at him.

'Yes, if you want I will kill one and bring it… but you should eat it somewhere else' Kiddo said to him.

"Somewhere else?"

'Yes… maybe you should just eat it in its place itself, that would be good'

"What do you mean?"

'Come with me first, leave that meat like that, no beast will come here until this place has my scent' Kiddo said and Amon followed him.

"A beast that could let out fire from its mouth… wait wait! Don't tell me it is dragon!!" Amon remembered there was a legend that a dragon would breathe fire!

'Dragon? What is that?' Kiddo said; he didn't know what a dragon was.

"Sigh… that makes me a little easy… but what is that beast you said that could breathe fire?" Amon said as they came in front of a volcano…

'It is in here… don't worry, we are not going inside' Kiddo said and turned left and started to walk.

Amon followed as saw a small den in the volcano…

'That is the beast I was talking about…' Kiddo said and pointed at the beast that was sleeping on a rock.

"That is…"

It looked like a lizard, but the whole body was red. And it was very different from a lizard, its skin looked so smooth and there were some black spots on its skin.

"Hey… that's Salamander…"
