68 The Request (29): That Man

"Really?" Yoona exclaimed in excitement. "Mom is coming back home?"

Sojin smiled and nodded. She had just broken the news to Yoona about Jung Semi's arrival and she was very delighted. Mom is gonna come back, she thought. She had missed her mother dearly ever since she went abroad for her two year journey. Jung Semi was a philanthropist and her charitable deeds took her to many countries. There were times when she had left for months and there was no news about her but she always came back albeit for brief periods of time.

Yoona was extremely close to her mother and looked up to her. The past two years had been difficult without her.

"For how long will she be here?" Yoona asked.

"Madam said that she'll be here for an indefinite amount of time," Sojin explained. "She'll arrive a day before the final episode of your show."
