29 The Garage

The long fingers of the woman stretched forward, pressing the buttons of the keypad to insert the passcode. Once done, the door unlocked, and she pushed the door open to enter before locking it behind her.

As her steps sounded through the place, she moved forward towards one of the room and went in. The room was dark, and only the light from computer screen was the source of illumination.

"Boss, you are here finally," said the boy in front of the computer.

He pressed a button before turning his chair and facing Rye. The hint of smile was present on his face, obviously pleased to see Rye.

An easygoing expression was on Rye's face as she sat down on the couch. Taking out a cigarette, she lit it and took a puff before someone pinched the stick. A frown settled on her expression.

"What got you so stressed? Have some iced caramel latte."

The cigarette was pulled out from her mouth, and she was handed a cold glass. In front of her stood a middle-aged having a warm countenance.
