Once Matvey is finished with me, I walk through the dining area and kitchen to see if Dominik has come down for breakfast yet—trying to hide the bristling anger and frustration and anxiety that is unlikely to leave any time soon. There is so much I need to talk to Dom about now—the fact that he is obviously not taking all of this seriously enough based on how fucking loud he was with Vanessa last night is not least among those things. 

Yes, we are in our own private wing. Yes, this mansion is enormous and there is little chance that Matvey would have heard them. But what happened to his sense of safety and precaution? We are talking about his mate.
