117 Car Ride

When we are out front of the mansion, Dominik is reluctant to depart with Luka and leave me behind to ride with Ivan. But if there are cameras out here, then what choice do we have?

"Are you sure you're up to driving?" Dom asks his cousin, jaw clenched. 

"Yeah. The doc gave me clearance," Ivan says with a wide grin. He is loving this, and I'm not sure why. Is it just because he gets to see Dominik uncomfortable? The more I am around these two, the more I wonder if Ivan doesn't just love poking Dom for the fun of it—kind of like poking a bear to see what will happen. 

Dominik's gaze slides my way, and little bolts of electricity explode under my skin. I give him a reassuring smile and watch his chest rise and fall heavily before he gets in his SUV. 

"Looks like it's just you and me princess," Ivan says with a wink and opens the door for me.
