Enemy is Devilish

"There's no way he would come out of that."

"Yeah! looking at that even if it were me I wouldn't survive it either."

Once the flames vanished away, not even the ashes remained behind.

hmm… the beast had his doubts.

"See! Way da go Leader!"

something felt off for them… at least there should be some remaining. "Why do I feel uneasy about it." one of the dragons spoke, hindered by the ominous burden within his heart.

"You saw that smile, didn't you?" the dragon levitating beside, told his fellow comrade.

Although all of them were badly injured and defeated, however, they still had the strength to fly and watch over the fight.

"GGAAARRRRRAAAAHHHH" a loud scream of pain came from behind. The breathers along the leader shifted their heads and eyes at the screamer.

empty mouth from where not even a basic word came out, their pupils to become thin and stumped with fear as if they have seen death, likely they haven't encountered there's but… one of their fellow dragons was about to.

what is something that could make even a dragon fall into terror? a close death?... his treasure lost?... or… torturing them with what's dear and close to them…

however, none of them…

it was… Break their pride… then give them hope… and lastly torture their kind in front of them… it's not like monsters don't have hearts. they might have pride needless; they developed a weakness once pride broke… a heart…

what the lizards were staring at with horror was their comrade's eyes taken out, all black for him, filled with pain the dragon could only scream with blood streaming down the empty sockets.

"GGGAAARRRRAAAAHHHH!! MY EYES!! I CAN'T SEE!!"

"Ah-Ah, who did this to him?" the dragons inquired, there's no clue to a surprise attack.

"What's the matter?" A voice rang in their ears, it felt very similar to if they had heard it somewhere. something clicked before the twist of their heads.

Leon with the eyeballs in his palm, moved his hand forward to let the dragons have a good look at it. the dragons swallowed their own saliva. The eyeballs instead of being large since it were dragon's eyes shaped very small in size.

Levitating in the air, with a devilish look on his face and the intense aura he had. "What's with that of yours?" he asked, there was a change in voice although most of it was usual, it felt light and pretty creepy.

Crush…

he squeezed his hand hard enough to make the eyeballs crushed, it was cruel. the dragons couldn't stand there and do nothing. they had become weak due to the fight against the clones. it didn't mean they were completely annihilated.

"YOU EVILDOER!"

one of the dragons shouted out in anger, he was fed up with seeing the disgust in his eyes. In a bitter rage, he charged at Leon thoughtlessly. his anger blinded him to the extent that he didn't think of the consequences he would face.

"I will kill you for doing this to my brother!"

"No wait! it's dangerous stop yourself" the leader commanded; however, it was useless to stop him now, consumed with anger his ears were too shut to hear anyone's warning.

the leader wasn't calm either, what Leon did to his fellow dragon was unforgiving, but taking action recklessly was not an option. The beast had come to the conclusion that every action needed to be taken with precise care.

The leader unable to stop the furious dragon, could only watch from afar. understanding that the human is far more dangerous than he had anticipated after feeling the aggressive aura that was leaking from Leon's body. his instinct kept repeating itself. his own voice was ringing in his ears.

Stop… or else we will all die…

"You will pay!" the furious dragon kept on shouting.

"Why do you all keep saying the same thing, I will kill you, and you will pay for this and that… come on are you some sort of NPC?"

Halfway left before he reached Leon, his anger was boiling like water. what he didn't know was that a brutal scene was about to occur, that unawareness was cleared soon.

the breather felt a very odd sensation, numbness in his body. "HUH?..." he was slowing down as his vision was getting blurry and dark.

what's happening to me? why am I feeling like this?

several voices were echoing in his ears, they were shouting but feeling worried and sad. what the dragon could see was the grin on Leon's face, his lips gave some movement as Leon uttered words to the dragon.

"You should have listened to your leader or else you wouldn't have been dying like this."

Dying? the dragon questioned in his mind.

how am I dying?

he was unable to come to a proper realization, he felt disconnected from his wings unable to move and do anything. His head was chopped off from his body, which he wasn't aware of. his head began to fall down along with his body.

"Everyone Charge at that Evildoer!!" was another command from the leader, with him and his fellow dragons who were under him charging at Leon.

the strength they had, they had to use it to attack Leon. they weren't sure whether there was any chance of succession, but one thing was clear they weren't afraid of death anymore. they must avenge their fellow dragon.

All the beasts charged at him, seeing how all of them were approaching him. Leon stood and glared at them silently, having the same grin as before.

Suddenly…

everything turned dark, "What's this? Why's there dark?". except for each other, they couldn't see anything but the emptiness. Leon before their eyes was consumed by the darkness.

puzzled about what this strange phenomenon was, they could only turn their heads to left and right with no concept of understanding the situation.

"It's that human's doing. don't get fooled by it. it's just an illusion."

"Then what should we do?"

one of the dragons turned his head to his side, he felt strange.

someone was here with me…

although he couldn't give much thought to him. he failed to notice that beside him was his fellow comrade, who suddenly disappeared without his knowing.

one after other dragons in the group began to disappear, all the dragons were now on high alert. "what's happening?" anxious at the situation, they had nothing in much or a way to understand even the slightest.

"Stay close, we don't know what's going on but staying close to each other is better."

after that human's energy changed, I didn't think he could do something like this… just who is he?

"GGAAARRRRAAAAAHHHHH… SAVE ME!!" one of their companions shouted, it was his voice that they could hear. they had no idea from which direction it came from. his call for help felt desperate as if it felt like he was suffering.
