4 Anya Is Alone!

"Don't Shoot!"

In an abandoned warehouse, a bald man with a scruffy beard screamed. They were currently in a fight with Twilight, and Twilight had spread flour everywhere, so if they shot, it would cause an explosion that would kill them all.

However, one person didn't hear the bald man.

"DIE!"

*Bang!*

*Boom!*

The man shot the gun, which sparked an explosion; the explosion was devastating. It killed 90% of the man's comrades, left the rest injured, and even slightly injured Twilight.

The scariest are not powerful enemies but pig teammates. 

Sadly, it didn't end with just the flour explosion.

*BOOM!*

Some dumbo put a couple of barrels of gasoline in the warehouse for food; it could be said that this group of kidnappers were one of the unluckiest groups alive. Not only did they have to fight with Twilight, and have pig teammates, but they also had their pig teammate blow them all up.

Naturally, gasoline + explosion ends up with a bigger explosion. An explosion so big that most of the warehouse was destroyed.

Night - 'Anya's' House

"Ow!"

Kusuo had just woken up with a headache. However, it wasn't him in pain. Rather, it was Anya. You see, Kusuo, who had just woken up, went to rub his head to get rid of his headache. However, he accidentally hit Anya while lifting his arm. 

This would be fine if Kusuo were a normal person; after all, when someone rubs their head, they don't use too much strength, but Kusuo is a psychic, at that one with extreme physical strength.

So even though Kusuo didn't use much strength when he touched Anya it still gave her a bruise. 

"Boohoo!"

Anya started to cry, which caused Kusuo to fully wake up.

'Anya's crying!'

Kusuo heard Loid's thoughts and put down his idea of using restoration. Loid might get suspicious if he used restoration; after all, the bruises will return tomorrow, which Loid would likely notice.

*creek*

"What's going on?"

Loid walked into the room and saw Anya on the bed crying while holding her arm and Kusuo, who was sitting on the bed, with a blank expression.

'Did Kusuo do something? But he doesn't seem like that type of person. Could it be an accident? How should I get Anya to stop crying? Yesterday, buying her peanuts worked, and I happened to have bought some extra, just in case. I'll figure out what happened after.'

"Anya, do you want some peanuts?"

"Y-Yes"

*sob sob*

Anya stopped crying for about half a second to say yes before crying again. The peanuts didn't work the best.

Kusuo was also thinking about how to get her to feel better. However, he didn't have any ideas. He didn't cry, neither did his brother and he never really had any friends…

"Kusuo, what happened?"

Kusuo was pulled out of his thoughts when Loid asked him what happened. He didn't know how to tell Loid; he couldn't just say, "I accidentally tapped her, and it caused her to get bruised."

Just as Kusuo was thinking about what to say, Anya spoke up.

"I *hup*-banged my *hup* arm on the wall"

Anya made an excuse for what happened. After all, she read Kusuo's thoughts and knew that it was an accident and that saying what happened might make Loid get rid of the two of them.

"Yes? Can I see your arm?"

While Loid was confused, he still looked at Anya's arm. 

'Such a big bruise! How hard did she hit that wall? The wall doesn't seem to have any damage to it, so is her body just weak? Well, there doesn't seem to be any deformities, so it shouldn't be broken. But just in case, I'll ask her if she can move it."

"Can you move it?"

"Y- *hup* yes"

Seeing Anya moving her arm, he was relieved; at least it wasn't broken.

Gently picking up Anya, he took her to the kitchen to check it out further.

Kusuo decided to pay Anya back for her help later. Then he started to think about what happened.

'So an explosion will happen at an abandoned warehouse later on today? On top of that he will be there? Will Anya be there? Just in case I should solve it. The surroundings seem to be near the police station.'

Later on in the day.

"No, Papa! I Don't Wanna! Don't Make me Study!"

"I must accurately measure your intelligence before you take the entrance exam!"

"But I don't need to study to take some stupid old test! I'll just read peoples- ah" - 'read people's minds.'

"Kusuo, do you feel the same way?"

Looking at Loid who dragged him into this conversation Kusuo was aggravated, he didn't need to study at all. He was going to read minds just so he could get a score that was barely passing!

*nod*

"I hope you two aren't planning on cheating! Listen, if you don't get into this school, then-" 'My mission fails.'

After saying that, Loid looked deeply at them before turning around and walking away.

'If I push anymore, Anya would probably use the excuse of her bruise, and Kusuo would likely say that it's unfair if he's the only one studying.'

"Okay"

After saying that, he put on his coat and said, "I'm stepping out, and you're staying right here! You are not coming with me. Not today."

Looking at Loid, who had left, Kusuo was happy; he could finally check out that warehouse.

However, just as he was about to leave, he saw Anya open the door to follow Loid.

"Hey! I said stay put!" 

Loid walked to the door, put Anya back into the house, and left. Anya again followed, causing Kusuo to wait until Loid found a way to make her stay here. After all, if Loid returns and he's gone, he'll be in trouble.

After several failed attempts to keep Anya at home, Loid literally blocked the apartment door with a barricade.

<' I will also go out'>

"Really? Can I come!?"

Looking at Anya's face, Kusuo still felt bad. However, she really couldn't come.

<' no'>

And with that, Kusuo teleported away.

'So it's around here…'

Teleporting back to the alley he first arrived in, Kusuo turned invisible and flew into the air.

Looking around, he quickly found the warehouse he saw in his dream.

The warehouse was extremely rundown, on top of that, there weren't any signs of life inside. Not even a homeless person.

After looking around, Kusuo was able to quickly pinpoint the location where the explosion happened.

He first teleported the gasoline barrels to beside the police station; then, he moved the flour bags into the dumpster outside.

Seeing that the causes of the explosion were cleaned up, Kusuo prepared to leave.

However-

*Bang!* *Bang!*

Shots were being fired as Twilight retreated. None of them could hit Twilight. Instead, Twilight was able to shoot two of his enemies while retreating. 

After Twilight got outside, he turned left and hid in the alley.

However, the kidnappers didn't go left but right.

"Hey, It's the kid!"

The kidnappers found Anya, who was hiding behind the telephone booth.

Putting a gun to her head he said, "Twilight if you don't come out and put down your weapon I'll put a bullet in the kid's skull!"

*sniffle*

Originally Twilight was about to shoot the kidnappers. However, he let emotions get the better of him after seeing Anya who was holding back her tears.

"I'm here"

Twilight said as he walked out with his hands up.

"Throw your gun towards us! And no funny business!" 

Seeing Twilight throw his gun towards them, the boss came out. He had a beard, and his face screamed 'Politician.'

"Haha, Twilight, we will return her once you steal the toupee off the minister of foreign affairs head!"

Twilight looked at the man and remembered him from his previous mission.

The boss was skeptical about how easy this was, so he had to make extra sure. He would shake hands with Twilight and put a bug on him.

"Come over. I'll tell you about who I need the toupee off of."

Twilight slowly walked over; however, he was stopped when he was about halfway.

"Walk on the left side, away from the gun!"

Twilight obliged and walked on the left side, but as he got closer, something happened.

*kick*

*Bang!*

Twilight had kicked a stone towards the gun, which hit it at an angle that made it launch towards him!

Grabbing the gun, he shot the man holding Anya; however-

*Bang!*

When the man fell, his finger triggered the gun, causing Anya to have a hole appear in her brain.

*SHAKE*

The ground around Kusuo shook for a second before calming down.

Kusuo then went to the roof of the building and sat, waiting for what would go down later.
