1 Leaving Home

Annabelle's POV

With excitement and joy, I packed my clothes, shoes and other useful stuff in two suitcases. I was one step ahead of becoming a Spy.

In Country Xz, to become an international Spy, you'll need to pass as a detective and that's my dream, to become a detective first.

Since I was a little girl, I was fond of spy movies and it became part of me, my parents didn't approve of it, they always say it's too dangerous that's why I lies to them that I'll be going to a medical school in Country Ts but I'll remain in Country Xz. I'll be going to the best Detective School here, I've already paid the fees after secretly having a part time job when I was in senior high.

Sighing, I carried my suitcases downstairs, my parents were preparing for work, of course I can't hide it, we're low class, my parents both sell Canned food in a small store, I wasn't ashamed of them, I just felt insecure when my friends back at senior high talk about their parents working at McFalcon Spy International.

Lucas McFalcon is like freaking rich, he's the richest in Country Xz, he owns the biggest Spy Organization in the country and he's also my idol plus he owns my dream college McFalcon Spy Academy.

"Mom, Dad, I'm leaving now" I said walking to them, I kept my suitcases down and hugged them.

"Good luck honey, call us whenever you have a problem. I know you'll be a great doctor" Mom said caressing my hair, I felt a little bad cause I lied to them.

"Sure mom" I said and pulled from the hug. Dad kissed my forehead before giving me a credit card

"Use it for all your expenses. We'll miss you" he said putting his arm around my mom's shoulder.

I was kinda shocked, we didn't have enough money so why will he give it to me??

"Um...sure." I said "You sure she can't drop you off at the airport?" Dad asked

"No, James is already waiting outside plus you don't have a car" I said mumbling the last part and thank God they didn't hear it, I didn't want them to feel bad.

I carried my suitcases outside, James my best friend was in his car waiting for me, I dropped my suitcases on the floor and went to the front window before tapping on it. He quickly came down and kept my suitcases in the boot before we both went into the car and he started driving.

He was also going to the same detective school as mine, although his parents knew about it and supported him while mine thinks it too dangerous.

"Uh...Anna, are you sure your parents work at a canned food store? Your house is bigger than mine" James said, he was kinda right. James is the only one I told about my parents job cause I know he wouldn't go around gossiping about me.

"I dunno, maybe they got help from my uncle" I said shrugging and he nodded

"Are you sure about this? What if your parents find out?" he asked looking worried

"It's fine, I know they're gonna find out one day but I hope it'll be after I become a Spy. I'm just mad that Sophie will be there" I said frowning.

Sophie is like the worst person on Earth, I thought she'll be into make-up or fashion since it's the only thing she talks about but instead her parents forced her to join Donald Detective School cause her parents are both working at McFalcon Spy International.

The ride was long and boring so I decided to take a nap.

I felt someone tickling me and I started laughing really hard until my eyes opened, beside me was Jamzy smiling at me

"You could've just called my name" I said clearing my eyes

"I would've but you sleep like a pig" he said and I punched his arm.

I looked ahead to see a banner which says 'DONALD DETECTIVE SCHOOL'

It was huge! I quickly came down and the security guards helped Jamzy and I Carry our suitcases inside.

Inside the school was even bigger, the hallway had lockers in different colors and the students were dressed fabulously, I can't wait to dress like that. The boys wore black suit while the girls wore the same but with black short skirt.

"Uh.. hi, Are you James and Annabelle?"I heard from behind and I turned to see a pretty blonde haired girl, she looked the same age as me.

"Yeah, Call me Anna and he's Jamzy....uh...I mean James" I said and she giggled

"I'm Jade, the principal assigned me to show you two around" she said with a welcoming smile. I looked at James and he was totally checking her out, oh no, don't tell me it's love at first sight!

James has always been a playboy, I can't even count how many girls he has slept with back in high school probably cause he was the hottest and most popular guy in school, he even had sex with Sophie, they dated for two years but he broke up with her after she pulled a massive prank on me, But he has obviously never slept with me.

"Come on" Jade said as she started walking ahead and we followed behind

"So firstly I'll show you your rooms. The boys dorm is a bit far from the girls. And boys aren't allowed I'm the girls floor" She said and I side glared James who giggled. Knowing James, he's gonna break that rule.

She took us to the girls dorm which was on the second floor, everywhere there belonged to the girls. There were numbers labelled on each door and mine was room 25, Jade opened the door and it was a huge room painted in black.

The room was divided with a black curtain and a girl was sleeping on a side so I guess the other side belonged to me.

"Sam!" Jade yelled and the girl woke up, she had blue eyes and brown wavy hair.

"Uh...hi" She said staring at me, James was leaning on the door staring at us... well mostly Jade.

"Hi, I'm Anna" I said and she stood up

"I'm Sammy" she said

"She's your room mate" Jade said to no particular person and I dropped my suitcases in my side of the room before leaving with Jade and James.
