Chapter 28 Bastard!

Sloan was asking Ellen, but Ella held her breath.

For some reason, she had an ominous premonition.

Her heart was slightly in her throat.

Ella thought, "Why am I feeling guilty?

"The one who caused Grandma to faint from anger is Ellen, not me.

"I want to see how partial Dad can be to her."

Ellen looked at Ella with a half-smile, then held Sloan's arm and said, "Dad, do you really want to know why Grandma fainted?"

Sloan nodded.

Ella had an understanding expression on her face. "Ellen, don't say anything more. We know you didn't do it on purpose. We didn't mean to blame you. Don't blame yourself."

Ellen sneered and said, "You're the culprit, but you're acting as if nothing has happened. Why should I blame myself?"

Ella was stunned.

She thought, "Am I the culprit?

"Why am I the culprit?

"Ellen was actually putting the blame on me instead."
