A Talk between Males- 21

We walked back into the make shift camp, Will leaned against the tree his eyes closed neatly. His chest moved with every breath, I sighed and smiled.

"I would hate to wake him…but the wounds." I said pulling away from Seb and heading towards my 'spouse'. The word warmed my heart, as if it was full of lukewarm water. I moved his hair from his face gently as I crouched in-front of him.

Seb came over and tapped my shoulder, I looked up at him and he handed my the vines.

"Thank you…" I said in a whisper, the male smiled lightly and nodded before going to the makeshift nest he had made. I could hear him silently messing with the fire to keep it going.

I yawned and patted my cheeks to keep myself awake as I placed the leaves on his chest gently and started sloppily wrapping the vines around him. Putting the vines through the small crevice he had between the tree and him.

"Man… I bet he could sleep through a tree falling…" I heard Seb whisper and I snickered.

"It seems so…" I said standing up after I was done to look at my handy work.

"How's it look?" I move out of the way so Seb could see, his honey eyes glanced over the 'bandages' and he nodded.

"Pretty good, for you having to do it while he slept like a sloth."

I smiled and looked at Wills peaceful face.

I felt as though we had known each other for years, yet I was nervous to make any move towards him.

I sighed, I'll get over it one day. I glanced at Seb, he tended the fire and looked like he was in deep thought.

"I'm going to sleep…" I said softly heading to the pelts, Seb nodded in acknowledgment.

"Good night…" he said gently as I sat down and situated my pelts….

SEB'S POV•

I poked at the fire as the female snuggled into the pelts, I warily looked at the male.

I flicked my tail, putting the stick down.

How did things turn out this way, I looked up and a feather slowly fell down.

I smiled picking it up, looking up I see the familiar black raven perched on a branch up above.

I looked over at the female and then the male, making sure they were asleep before I got up and shifted into a Tiger. I climb up not so skillfully but managed, I went out upon the thicker branch and the raven looked at me.

Shifting out of his form he sat staring down at the two, I shifted out and glanced at him in amusement.

His different colored eyes gleamed in wonder, one blue and one of a yellow color.

"I should have guessed you were following me, didn't I tell you to stay at the Raven Tribe?" I said lifting a eyebrow at the smaller male.

"Pfft- yeah and let you have all the amazing adventure's by yourself? Please!" He kept his voice low as he swung his legs back and forth.

"Yeah bu-"

"Anyway! Who are they?" He asked in his usual curiosity.

"Just some fellow travelers that I met. You already know how I'm guessing?"

"Yeah, saw it all! You looked pretty cool, beating that Lion up!" He said looking over at me in excitement.

"Oh! Also that lady slapped the mane off him." He laughed clutching his stomach.

I sighed and watched him ramble on about his curiosity….

WILL'S POV•

I woke at the sound of birds chirping, groaning I opened my eyes.

I looked around and saw 'Seb' the Tiger male sitting in front of the fire watching it crackle.

I moved a bit and winced as my chest stung, Seb looked up and locked eyes with me. Soon a gentler smile place on his face.

"Be careful moving around, your wounds are still fresh and need time to heal." He said in slight concern.

I ignore his words slightly and get up, noticing the makeshift wrap around my chest.

I looked at it in confusion, vines held in securely in place but I felt like they about wrapped me from head to toe.

"Who did this?" I looked at it in confusion and looked at the male.

"Ah yeah, that would be your mate." He nodded at her and looked back at me.

"She cares about you very much, I would be careful as to not mess up her handy work."

He said resting his chin on his palm as his crossed his legs.

I smiled and sighed gently heading over to her, I placed the fallen pelt back onto her shoulder as straightened up.

"S-She is very kind…" I said thinking on if we had any meat in the bags.

"As I have seen." He remarked stretching.

He was a real tall guy, standing at around 6'5.

His eyes the color of dark honey, his hair hung wild.

He wasn't too muscular, but seeing him fight yesterday… without any hesitation…

I sighed and rummaged through the bag.

"So…How long have you a Miss Marle known each other?" I heard Seb's voice from behind me.

"Marle? Her name is Maria." I sighed inwardly as I couldn't find any meat from previous hunts.

"Ah! Sorry I'm bad with remembering names." He chuckled awkwardly, I glanced at him then at my wrapped wounds.

"I've honestly lost track of days… but I know we haven't know each other long."

"Ooohhhh love at first sight eh?" He said wiggling his eyebrows, I found myself chuckling as I glanced at him.

"For me at least it was. Not so sure on how her take was, the spouse bond was accidental." Saying this I rubbed the scars on my arms, before shaking my head.

"Yeah, I know about that." My ears perked up at him.

"Maria tell you?"

Seb's eyes flickered a bit as he looked at me with a straight face, he blinked and smiled.

"You could say that I guess."

I looked at him slightly, feeling wary.

"You good at hunting?" I asked tapping my fingers on my crossed arms.

"Somewhat. Are you?" He asked looking back at me.

"Yeah, but I'm a bit injuried at the moment

so I can't necessarily hunt at the moment."

"Ah, you want me to hunt?" He asked standing up to his full height, slightly intimidating but I just looked.

"If you don't mind."
