Work Day
The next day came and Ren and Xue had only gotten some hours of sleep. It was a workday and Ren's heart slammed against his chest knowing that his wife was going to the same office that Mao worked in. He racked his brain about what to do but nothing was coming to his mind. Nothing occurred to him and he cussed at himself for being so uncreative. However, how could he be creative about something to keep his wife from going to work? He did not want her to lose her job and he too needed to be at work.
Ren's restlessness did not go unnoticed to Xue and as she picked out the clothes and matching shoes that she would wear to work that day, she asked him; "What is the matter, Ren? Are you okay?"
