Ren was furious that they had been asked that question, and he knew why the doctor asked them. It must have seemed to the man that Du was not being taken care of properly.

"That is not the case, doctor", Ren said quickly. "She is our child and we take care of her very well. This is just a situation that we can not explain"

"I gave her a bath before we all went to bed", Xue spoke up in a bid to defend herself and her motherhood. "She was fine...then I came to check on her and noticed this on her leg", Xue finished and shook her head vigorously.

The doctor did not know what to think. "Hmm", he hummed as he released a sigh. "Go to the injection room at the end of this hallway, and a nurse would attend to you there. I have sent the information and she would see it once you tell her your name. I have also set an appointment for a check-up in two weeks, but you would have to come in every two days for the dressing of the wound", the doctor explained. "Please, do you understand?"
