Slipped Out Of The Mouth
Su Na had stayed the night, but she remained seated on the bed and could not even close her eyes for a moment. There were times that she would doze off, but in seconds, would be jerked back to consciousness like someone was beside her waking her up every 20 seconds.
It was very frustrating t Su Na but she did not know what to do.
The drink she had shared with Xue had helped and they had shared a few laughs here and there as they reminisced about the past and about times before Xue met Ren Jing.
Su Na had laughed and forgotten what troubled her mind momentarily. But when Xue had retired to bed, the vigil continued for her.
In the past, after a few sips of alcohol, it took a miracle for Su Na to still be awake. So, this time that she had remained awake even after a full glass of scotch, made Su know that her mind was really not at rest. She felt sad about what was happening to her.
