A knock was heard rfrom the other side of the door.

Who could that be? Ceri wondered. She was in no mood for unwanted visitors.

"Come in," Ceri Binner yelled out as she quickly got off the ground and arranged her clothes. She couldn't allow anyone see her weeping and defeated. In her mind, Ceri cradled the flame of hope that things would get better between she and Sek.

There was no way that this was the end of it — there was no way that this was the end of her dreams. She would not allow it. She refused to go down without a fight.

Queen Zyne walked in.
