Meetings Upon Meetings
"Do you know what it is about? Do you know what they would be telling or asking us?" Ren spat without even taking a minute to breathe.
"Why are you so uncomfortable?" Xue replied with a soft chuckle. She had always enjoyed watching Ren get uncomfortable when it came to things about school meetings and events. Xue could not tell for the life of her, why it was like that with Ren. She had noticed when Du had first gotten enrolled in school.
"What are you getting so worked up for?"
Ren shrugged. "What time are we expected to be there?" He knew that Xue was only making fun of him and she basked in him feeling this uncomfortable about little things. When he was younger, he had dreaded either of his parents coming to school, because he had always related those sorts of visits to whenever he had done something wrong.
