A Knock

There was a knock on Jade's door and she rushed t open it knowing who was at the door even before she got there.

"Hello, Mr. adonis. Good morning," Jade said as she opened the door wide open to make enough space for Adonis to walk into her room. She had told Selena to wait inside the inner room so that she could attend to business and Selena had listened to her.

Adonis smiled and bowed his head to greet her. He wondered if she could notice how nervous he was and he also hated the fact that he was that way, However, he could not help it and had to consciously steady his nerves as he walked into her house.

"Thank you, Jade, and please, again, call me Adonis," he pleaded with her.

Jade smiled. "do not mind me, I am used to that title because of my clients." She said as she walked past him to sit down on the chair that was behind her desk.

"Please, have your seat," Jade said to Ad0onis.
