Spiritual Earth a world with magus and cultivation

A lost soul from earth reincarnated into a universe of cultivation and magic. He doesn't have memories from his new world and he isn't not the same person either. He is immediately involved in an annihilation of a sect and learns that only strong cultivators can survive. Later on he found out there are different races that are ruling the world. The lost earthling wants to change the rules of this world and is planning to create an everlasting legendary sect while facing schemings, hardships and traitors. Cultivators

There are ten cultivation realms with ten minor stages of a realm. The ten minor stages are divided by four groups.

early 0-4,

mid 5-6,

late 7-8,

Spiritual Qi Condensation Realm

Qi Condensation is the start of a cultivation journey. Without a cultivation path, you are considered as mortal. For humans, Qi Condensation is the entry realm to cultivate. First, you need to feel the Spiritual Qi, which is everywhere on the Spiritual Earth. The next step is to gather into your blood veins. If the Qi Condensation stage is higher, you gather faster Spiritual Qi. Each realm has minor stages divided by early 0-4, mid 5-6, late 7-8, peak 9-10.

Spiritual Qi Tempering Realm

Spiritual Qi Tempering is a stage where you gather the spiritual energy of heaven and earth to refine the body from the inside out. This is all for laying the foundation to the next realm, the Foundation Establishment Realm. It's named as Spiritual Qi Tempering because it stabilizes the unruly Qi which you gather at Qi Condensation Realm.

There are three principal methods used to enter the Spiritual Qi Tempering Realm:

The proper method which involves using a large amount of Qi to refine the body on one's own. This is the hardest method.

The more common method in Sects that have them is to have a Nascent Soul cultivator use their own power to assist with the breakthrough.

Foundation Establishment Realm

After gathering a sufficient amount of Spiritual Qi in the Qi Tempering Realm, the cultivator works to cycle that spiritual Qi through their entire body. In doing so, the spiritual Qi washes the body clean and refines it so that it becomes more suited for cultivation. The bones and veins are evolving. After the evolution, you can gather Qi faster. The colours of the world are clearer and the body is studier. This is called "forming/building a foundation" or the Foundation Establishment Realm. This is the true first step on the path of cultivation, with the Qi Tempering realm being nothing more than the preliminary steps toward it. At this Realm, the cultivator needs to face a tribulation. Clouds would gather and the lightning would try to kill the cultivator.

The Core Formation Realm is about to create a core. The cultivator must gather the spiritual Qi to form a core while he needs to face a tribulation where clouds gather and hit the cultivator with a more powerful lightning than the Foundation Establishment Realm.

Nascent Soul Realm

In this realm, cultivators reform their core into a Nascent Soul. By undergoing this transformation, the cultivators have to pass a lightning tribulation. If one fails the tribulation, the Nascent Soul scatters, as does one's mind or soul. Lucky ones live on as mad lunatics, while the unfortunate ones die. However, upon successfully condensing the Nascent Soul, one's lifespan dramatically increases, and proportionally, the strength of the physical body. Most cultivators of this stage are renowned grand elders of sects. These cultivators rarely involve themselves in trivial sect affairs, and most immerse themselves into further cultivation or adventures. Very few vagrant Nascent Soul cultivators exist, as most powers attempt to rope in such powerful figures with equally powerful incentives. During wars or skirmishes, battles between Nascent Soul cultivators are deadly. One of the more powerful abilities of Nascent Soul cultivators is the ability to escape death should their physical body perish. Not only is the Nascent Soul fast and nimble, it can enter another suitable body, should the original body perish.

Once a "core" has reached sufficient density, it can be forcefully molded to form a "Nascent Soul". A cultivator reaches the Nascent Soul stage upon successful formation of a Nascent Soul. Progression through the Nascent Soul Realm involves absorbing spiritual energy to refine the Nascent Soul. Like the previous realms, there are 3 groups: Early, Middle and Late Nascent Soul Cultivators.

One ability of this Realm is to separate Nascent Soul from a cultivator's mortal body. It reduces its dependency on the Mortal body. It is possible to possess another body should it be given to them or they forcefully take over a new body. However, doing so will weaken the Nascent Soul, and future growth is still limited.

We consider cultivators at this stage ancestors or grand elders within sects, and can live up to a thousand years at most. More should they use special methods. Nascent Soul cultivators form the basis and majority of strength within a middle level sect. Loss of Nascent Soul ancestors can cause the extinction of a sect. A single ancestor can single-handedly wipe out an enemy sect. War between sects or factions with Nascent Soul cultivators rarely results in battle between cultivators of this stage.

Nascent Soul cultivators are mostly motivated by self-interest. They will not involve themselves in conflict unless there are rewards.

Ascension Soul Realm

This is the peak cultivation in the spiritual earth realm. Ascension Soul realm is the farthest you can cultivate. You can't break through the next realm because of the limitations of the world. You can also wait and stay in this world. Humans and giants are not blessed with immortality and die at old age.

In the Ascension Soul realm, you can fly freely. Their next new ability is to isolate a range within 1 km with a barrier. You can't eavesdrop and see through barriers. You also create an Avatar from yourself, which only humans and giants can do. Ascension Soul realm cultivators are legends that rarely appear. Even the elves said that there are no Ascension Soul Realm cultivators anymore. They got extinct during the wars or are hiding for some unknown reason.

Estimated lifespan: 3 000 years

There are a few hints that the cultivation path goes farther. Old established sects should have more information about this topic. For me it's irrelevant as it would take hundreds of years to be at their Realm. What interests me more is the magical path.

The Magus Path

The magical path is an equal path for the races, dwarfs, elfs, and dragons. The demons tried to corrupt these races and integrate them in their demon cultivation path. They had success in corrupting the dragons. Dragons got a punishment and are extinct on the paper, because they sided with the demons for more power. However, it is not sure if they are clearly extinct. Rumors are still there that they roam the world. Humans, giants were jealous because they had no power to defend themself. For this reason, they created their own path, the cultivation path, as the book mentioned before.They couldn't use the spiritual Qi to cast magic. It was impossible for them. In history, there was not a single human or giant that achieved it. They have researched magus cultivation since they were born in this world. The information about the magus path is not complete since there are only a few of them on the continent of Lothian. Elfs tried to erase the knowledge about them.

They call themselves magus. Humans call them magus cultivators. The naming of the realms is also very different, but they are equally strong as a human cultivator. Instead of using the spiritual Qi for enhancing the body and soul, elfs manipulate the Qi to cast magic. In close combat, they have not a chance against cultivators. Dwarfs, however, use this Qi to enhance their items. The elfs were not as good as the dwarfs in Qi blacksmithing. There is no information about their relationship with each other. In their early realms, they need to channel the Spiritual Qi, which takes a lot of time to cast them.

Their cultivation realms are called:

Beginner Magus Realm = Spiritual Qi Condensation Realm

Apprentice Magus Realm = Spiritual Qi Tempering Realm

Senior Magus Realm = Foundation Establishment Realm

Master Magus Realm = Core Formation Realm

Archmaster Magus Realm = Ascension Soul Realm

Beginner Magus Realm

Every elf can manipulate the spiritual Qi from birth. A beginner magus can feel and the spiritual Qi which is omnipresent. The next step is to manipulate the spiritual Qi. In this realm, they can't cast anything though. They can move spiritual Qi particles and store them inside their body and are a newbie at conceptualizing the creation of magic power.

If they are able to feel,see and manipulate spiritual Qi, they learn complicated spells to cast them. It's kinda complicated, like the formations that humans create. They are apprentice magus when they can cast an apprentice spell.

Senior Magus Realm

A senior magus is considered being a senior magus can use the spells of a senior magus. The higher the realm is the more complicated it gets to channel them.They have a more profound understanding of spell theory and its uses in combat.

Master Magus Realm

A master magus is considered to be a master magus if he performs master spells. They get a harsher tribulation than the realm before. If one can create a manacore without dying by the heavenly lightning tribulation, he or she can be considered as senior magus.

They are masters of techniques like instantaneous casting, which enables extremely rapid casting of prepared spells.

Grandmaster Realm

A grandmaster magus can use at least two elemental spiritual Qi. They need to destroy their mana core to form a mana soul. They are a master of one spiritual Qi, elemental.

Archmaster Realm

There are several grandmasters on the continent of Gumuldur. The reason for that is that elfs are immortal. They can only die in battle or by poison. The second reason for that is they had not faced nearly complete eradication like other races. There are hints that this is not the latest realm. Legends are saying that there would be the entire world of Archmasters if they didn't ascend to the Realm of gods. They have a superior knowledge of this, which other races didn't even know.

They are masters of at least three spirit Qi elementals. The Spiritual earth pills are useless to take, they have no effect at this stage.

Demon cultivation

The knowledge about the demonic path is erased. Only the names of demonic cultivation have survived. The power levels are equal to the other cultivation paths. There are only hints that elfs burned the books about them. Every cultivation manual that existed was hunted down by elfs. There are no descriptions or inscriptions about them. Humans that cultivated their ways would not live long. The elfs created some kind of detection spells to locate them. It doesn't matter where they would hide or how strong they were. They have no chance of escape.

Earth - strong in defense, can manipulate gravity, good for making formations

Water - slightly weaker defense than earth, very good healing and recovering abilities

Fire - Works good for alchemy and Blacksmithing have a strong attack power

Wind - Best option if you are planning to cultivate with weapons

Lighting - is an uncommon spiritual root, and it's hard to learn. Strongest elemental destructive power. The downside of this is the Tribulations will be a lot harder to endure. Almost impossible. Almost all people die at the later cultivation stages.

There are also exotic spiritual roots

Demonic - If you have these rest in peace, you'll be sentenced to death.

Necromancy - It's a creation of demons. Evil beings have this knowledge by recreating it.

Longevity - Something that elves and dwarfs have. They are blessed to be Immortal but they have their own way of cultivation. They call it Magic.

Draconic - Dragons can transform into a humanoid form. They have a strong affiliate with all other spiritual roots. Which means they are blessed with fast cultivation progress in any cultivation manual and magus manuals.

In this world, they are also spirit stones for cultivating or used as currency. Spirit stones have a rank system. The Qi inside it is getting dense when the spirit stone rank gets higher.

Acolytes

Everybody gets accepted, even potential Elders start here.

Acolytes are possible disciples or elders of a sect.

Promotion

Core disciples

There are two ways to get promoted to Core Disciple. They need to do missions every two months.

If they have 50.000 merit points, they get promoted to Elder

The Council of Great Elders looks at his profile. The master of the intelligent force creates a profile. In addition, an independent group will observe the person and check if the information is correct.

Outer Elder

Outer Elders are not trustworthy enough to get an Elder position. Even if they are stronger than Guardian Elders. They need to do missions for two whole years to even get a promotion. Are the strongest force of Elders which can be trusted. They have duties like teaching new Core Disciples they need to do missions every six months. They are urgently searching for personal Disciples and teach them personally their techniques.

If they have 400.000 merit points, they get promoted, if a spot of a Grand Elder is free.

Sect Master

The Sect Master can approve the advice from the Grand Elders. If the Sect Master wants a new rule, he needs approval from the council of the Grand Elders. His duties are diplomatic duties, finding new resources and he is the only one who can give merits.

Only a Sect Master can deploy a new Grand Elder. But he can't kick a Grand Elder out of his position.

Guardian Elder

Guardian Elders guard the sect. They play only a minor role in the daily work of the sect. Mostly they are hidden watching the sect grow and don't interfere at all. In war, they are on high alert and prepare for defenses or attacking strategies. They have a second duty as Guardian Elder. They choose a new sect master, if the old one dies or is retiring.

The council of the Grand Elders

There are several roles where each Grand Elder has one duty.

Master of War - Military advisor, preparing new strategies for defense and attacks, he has the right to give the Master of Formation duties.

Master of Formation - His duty is researching Attack Formations, Defense Formations at war. He is under the Master of War for better communications.

Master of Cultivation - He is planning out how to help the Disciples in all realms in Cultivation

Master of Magus - He is planning out how to help the Disciples in all realms in Magic

Master of Coin - keeps looking at the treasures and is the bookkeeper, he build the sect structure

Master of Sect Laws - Creating and announcing new Sect Laws

Master of the intelligent force - intelligence advisor and spymaster

Master of Alchemy - Master of the pills and brewing

Master of Blacksmithing - Creates weapons, armor, treasures

Master of Recruitment - Recruits new acolytes and outer Elders, teaching Disciples

Grand Elders need to report to the in front of all the council of Grand Elders.

Grand Elders can kick other Gand Elders if they do a terrible job.

All Grand Elders need to attend the council of the Grand Elders.

Lower Sects

Fallen Sects could be a lower sect. Lower sects are weak sects. They can also be newly founded. If the highest cultivator contains a Foundation Establishment or Senior Magus, I considered them to be a lower sect.

Middle Sects

Mid Sects are stronger than Lower Sects. They have made a name for themselves on the continent. But they are much weaker than peak sects. If the highest cultivator contains Nascent Soul or Grandmaster Magus, it means that the sect is mostly a mid sect.

Peak Sects

Peak sects are the peak of the Spiritual World. The strongest force is an Ascension Soul or an Archmaster Magus.
