SARAH'S POV

"Ok so today we are visiting the library", Jessica said as we left our class aka our exam hall for now

"Well we have been doing that since exams started smart ass", I said jokingly bumping into her shoulder

"No not our school's library, that's for studying stupid stuff', Linda scoffed moving away from me like I had some disease

"So?", i started to get worried, these girls were crazy, there was a time they made me bungee jump and I was so scared but instead they laughed it off, although they were my best friends I knew they didn't care about that when it came to having fun to the maximum

"The library downtown on the towns history", Linda whispered coming closer

"But why?", I asked lost as we walked towards the exit of the school

"Because of Sarah Haywood duhhh", wow Jessica, you are the nicest

"Ohh ok", I didn't really care at this point, all I wanted was to fall face flat on my bed

"So the public library?", I asked still unsure

"Well I did say the one downtown and it's for the public so yes", Linda replied harshly as we entered the car

"What peed in your pants?", I asked looking at her through the rearview since she was the driver

"My period", she groaned

"Awwn sorry baby", Jessica cooed which caused her to receive a very hard punch to her side from Linda

"So guys wait we're just gonna like search for her?", I asked still confused

"Well basically yeah, it happens in all the greatest mystery movies", Linda replied as she started to drive

"Man searching a library is hard", Linda groaned still searching shelves

"Well we could have asked the librarian for help but you guys insisted on being secretive", I spoke as I kept searching also

Well i and the girls had gotten to the library about an hour ago,and we had never visited before meaning we had no idea where the history people things in it were, and Linda wanted to go incognito, like we were in totally spies

"Let's just ask", she said finally giving up, her disappointment was evident, and I almost told her to not, that we should look for it by ourselves, that we could find it, but then almost never killed a bird, or so the saying goes

We walked to the librarians desk which was situated at the beginning of the library, people gave us annoyed looks because well we had been noisy but we didn't really care, it wasn't like it was our fault

"Hi", Linda said smiling at the nerdy librarian probably our age

"Hey Linda, Hey Sarah"

Ok so she knows our names, that's freaking weird but I won't comment on that

"Do we know you?", I asked

"We go to the same school", she smiled awkwardly probably realising how werid she had veen

"Oh that's great anyways where's the history people thing of the library situated", Linda asked not giving a flying fuck about the girl in front of us

"Hmm the history people thingy", the girl asked unsure

"Do you mean the history of the people who have lived here?"

"Isn't that what we said?", I'm not going to lie Linda was being bitchy but then I know why, and I completely understand her

"Well then s-sorry, i-its at the hmmm 3rd aisle to-to-to the left", why was she so scared?, it wasn't like we would beat her up or something

"Yeah thanks", with that I and Linda walked to the 3rd aisle

We only searched for a few minutes before we found Sarah Haywood

"Let's go to our seat", Linda said after carrying the huge dusty book

"Have you guys finally found it", Jessica asked moving for us to seat at each others sides

"Yeah no thanks to you",Linda retorted in a very angry tone, clearly today wasn't her day, and well this whole week won't be either

"Linda you can turn bitchy mode off now", I said looking at her smiling teasingly, for some reason she always calmed down when I did that like my weridness surpasses all other problems

"Yeah yeah sure, that girl just pissed my pants of", she groaned almost smashing her head on the table but stopping midway

"What happened?"

"Well Jessica, the librarian was some nerdy girl from our school and she was trying to make small talk with us when we were in a rush", I turned to face Jessica

"Yeah that's shitty", she supported

"Why didn't you help us again?", Linda asked Jessica as she opened the dusty book

"Asthma", and with that Linda started reading the book out loud

"Sarah Taylor Haywood--"

"Read faster please I'm dying", Jessica groaned and so did I

"Ok Sarah Taylor Haywood born on the 15th of June"

"That's totally your birthday girl", Jessica said laughing and getting more weird looks from the people in the library

"Yeah well she was born in 1948 to the wealthy family of the Haywood's and Black's, she studied Herbology, the study of herbs basically and well I can't see the words anymore", she concluded and handed the dust magnet to me

"Ok so she got engaged to a man called Edward Lorain in her 18th year in the world, so basically she was like 18 or so and then as we have it I can't see the words", I smiled handing it back to Linda

"Yeah then they were to get married on the 19 of December but sadly they both died"

"Is that all the big book says?", Jessica asked

"Nope its the first page, which is the summary", I deadpanned

"We have a long way to go girls, and luckily we have no papers tomorrow", Jessica said smiling

"Girls keep it down or I'll have to get security"

We all looked to see Mrs Nerdy is my name

"No problem", Jessica smiled

As she left Linda opened the first page...
