49 Dragon King Trinity
(Just noticed that the Fic passed that 100k words Milestone. So, here another chapter)
Sitting slightly some distance away from the well Xue Long, meditated for a bit there.
He was trying to have a good feel for the energies of two opposite elements.
Once he found some semblance to them he changed his position into standing meditation and started compressing a fire core.
Because of how dense the fire element was here the process was incredibly short compared to other times.
*Exhale*
"Phew… this one was quite a fast one." As he said that he looked at his hand and tried a few strikes and his martial arts stances.
He quickly noticed the explosiveness of his kata combined with Earth Core's 'heaviness'. His strikes now are heavy and explosive with strength. This means once he gets the ice or water core he will have fluidity to them as well.
Quite a good development.
On the even better part, he could get closer to the well now.
The heat doesn't work on him anymore. He is pretty sure the amount of fire damage he can receive has been significantly reduced because of his new affinity.
"Hmm…though now absorbing Water is going to be slightly more difficult…" As Xue Long thought about it he did sense that it is harder to absorb water now for him.
While it was harder it was not impossible so he did start to absorb water attribute and create another core in his hands.
This time it was much longer and one could even say annoying. Not in the natural sense as water at this moment was not his attribute.
Instead, it was an opposite one.
However, the real issue arose when it was time to add this core.
It was an even slower process. And a painful one.
For that… he channelled his Lotus Meditation. Thankfully he learned means to do two things at once! Otherwise, he could might as well failed with this!
When he was done the Yin and Yang disc reacted and started to hum… more than ever. He just finished a pair of opposing elements!
And this had an additional effect on it.
To test it Xue Long activated the Cultivation Domain. Unlike before there were sounds of earth rumbling, fire blazes and torrents of water.
The surroundings have slightly changed as the domain felt quite humid and even the ground was somewhat muddy.
Though he could feel that his Heaven and Earth Meditation was closer to the breakthrough to the next stage. Thanks to this. He still needs to get wind attribute that should give him speed, and most likely balance out the domain as well.
Once he tested that out he focused on flooding the area even with more with Heaven and Earth energies.
When he finished with that, he cancelled the domain and walked over to the Well.
For a few moments, he was mesmerized by the uniqueness of this well.
And a short while he jumped into it and started to dive deeper into it.
"That little Monster! Is he mad!!?" Dugu Bo quickly arrived as close as he could to the well.
*Tsk*
"Well… I am just going to wait for him here." The old man said that as he walked over and dropped in the location where the Heaven and Earth energies were the most potent.
Immediately after he focused on cultivating and getting closer to reaching Rank 94.
While waiting for that crazy prince to pop out from the well…

***Heavy Rumbling***
"Hmm? What did he do now?" The Old Poison said to himself as he felt the earth beneath him starting to shake.
***Roar***Roar***Roar
Three distinctive roars spread throughout the garden's valley.
As moments later Xue Long blasted out from the well and landed not far from Dugu Bo.
The Old Poison looked dumbly at the Crown Prince as he saw THREE Dragons standing behind him!!!
"What… in all the Gods names did you do!?" The Poison Douluo exclaimed as he looked at this bizarre development.
"Deep inside the well, there were two dormant souls of Water and Fire Dragon Kings. I took them and turned them into My Martial Spirits." He explained to him as the fire and water dragon roared.
The Fire Dragon King was a western red dragon with quite a robust body fewer horns and sharp edges than the Golden one while the Water Dragon King was a much more slender Western blue dragon one could say that it was a very beautiful specimen of the Dragon race.
"...and does 'taking' dormant souls make them martial Spirits!? How can you even have three of them in the first place!?" The old man exclaimed with disbelief.
"Sixth Stage of Lotus Meditation allows one to have three Martial Spirits in total. So old man meditate and you might be able to have three martial spirits as well." Xue Long said that as the three martial spirits disappeared.
"...I am still at the second stage! And I have no clue how to proceed to the next one!" Dugu Bo snapped back at the Prince. He makes it sound easy but the old man has no freaking idea what to do next!
"More importantly little monster how did you make dormant spirits into Martial Spirits in the first place!!!" For a moment the Old Poison decided to drop the subject of having three spirits instead he wants to know how he made these dragons souls into Martial Spirits!!!
Did he pull out from his ass another freakish technique!?
"Well I invented one—"
"I knew it!" The old man nodded to himself in satisfaction. He was right!
"...As I was saying I invented a technique based on 'two make one and one makes two." Xue Long said that as he crossed his hands.
"What does that even mean? You made a technique just from few words?" With a confused look, Dugu Bo asked the Prince.
"Not quite." As the Crown Prince said that he took a familiar stance and did a familiar motion of forming Yin and Yang and he did just that. He formed the symbol from the energies.
Though the Yin and Yang were distinctive and different… one side was burning the other one was freezing off…
"I used two polar elements coming together and fusing with me… taking two slots available for the Martial Spirits. Though having Golden Dragon King Core and Martial Spirit played an even bigger role as he is their superior in the pecking order of the Dragon species." As he said that he spun around and released the Yin and Yang disc into a boulder which froze up and then burst into flames before completely disintegrating…
"I see… I can't believe one can do such things with martial arts techniques… it continues to impress every single time." Dugu Bo said that while shaking his head.
"Now old man… let's spar."
"..."
"I will help you to develop the snake style. Even better I am going to teach you Arthan meditation. With it, you should develop that style to perfection."
The Poison Douluo eyebrows twitched hard. On one hand, he knew the brat is a monster. He saw him nearly crush Snake Lance Douluo to a bloody pulp with bare hands, and on other hand, he truly wants that meditation style. He is quite jealous of his granddaughter who started practising it…
"Fine! But no Martial Avatars or Martial Spirits!"
"That's fine by me, I wanted to get used to those cores in the first place."
"Now that you mentioned I wanted to test how better it is with it." Dugu Bo said that with realised look. He does want to test how better is his Spirit Energy now that he has his core!
"Good. We should take this somewhere else."

Sure enough, the pair did leave the crater, Xue Long looked around a little bit more before he found a good place.
The Poison Douluo was curious why this place specifically.
"Since we going to fight here. We going to destroy some of the vegetation. This is good because I am planning to build a mansion here." The Crown Prince pointed at the gardens
"This place is right next to the crater. Once I am going to punch through the wall there I will have a direct walkway to the well and the garden."
Dugu Bo nodded… though… punching through and making pathway? The Crown Prince operating on completely different laws…
'No wonder he has Dragons for Martial Spirits…'
Though enough the pair got a little bit more serious and Xue Long took a stance which made the Poison Douluo a little bit more relieved. It was not the Boundless Fist or the Tai Chi… or even Diamond Fist or the Praying Mantis.
Nah… it was the Dragon Style… even if no Martial Avatar appeared there certain draconic echoing were in the background.
Even this made Dugu Bo reluctant to fight…

Without wasting time Xue Long lunged forward his speed was ridiculous as one moment he was in his original spot next one he was in front of the Poison Douluo! In a blink of an eye!
It's like the earth just folded for him!
The clawed palm strike went for the old man who quickly intercepted! Though it was a bad idea to block it as the strike pushed him back several metres just like that!
'What is with this heavy strike!? It's like his fists are boulders empowered with fiery explosiveness!'
That moment he realised that this was the power of those cores! And a single strike was enough for him to feel that numbness in his hands!
Before. he can contemplate more on this the Crown Prince was already on his case! Another strike was about to hit him but Dugu Bo dodged and tried to strike with his attack.
Yet, with quite fluid motion Xue Long parried and went with his knee to strike at the Poison Douluo's gut. The old man blocked it with his leg this made a collision which cracked the ground and made the Titled Douluo once again take a multitude of steps back.
"Hah… those cores made you even bigger Monster… I am already losing from simple hand-to-hand combat…" Dugu Bo said that as he shook his hands and stretched his legs. Those attacks were powerful and the brat's body is like a boulder…
"Well. You are all about control old man. It's time to adjust to the front lines. We going to spar and I am going to help you develop that style."
As the Prince said that he took Snake style similar to Dugu Bo's, he then attacked once again. This time the old man paid extra attention to the fighting style as Xue Long was simply put… teaching him.
In this situation, it should be different… old man suppose to teach not the young man teaching the old! Yet, this was this kind of situation…
As one could have guessed. They spend several hours to days ironing out Dugu Bo's style… after that, they returned to the Garden where they going to select immortal Herbs for themselves and Dugu Yan and Xue Long are going to find something for his Angel Girl.
