Spirit Beast Reincarnate

Reincarnated as a Spirit Beast in Douluo Dalu. Expect good grammar and readable English. This is an entirely different story from other fanfics, so if you are expecting Tang San to show up, you're going to wait awhile. Update schedule is very messy to say the least, but I can assure you with a chapter a week. There will be tragedy in this story, I want make sure you know that, it's not that bad, but there will of course be hard fought hardships in this story. The gorgeous picture isn't mine, unfortunately, found it on the Douluo Dalu Fandom.

[Scarlet Moon]

The night was dark; the sky lit up by countless stars and the moon.

However, there was an unusual red hue to the full moon, mesmerizing all that witnessed its beauty.

One of the countless people looking at the moon was Qian Renxue.

She was in the arms of her mother, Bibi Dong, looking out through a giant glass window that lined the halls of the Grand Castle.

She was still a baby and couldn't understand what was happening, neither did her mother. It was such a bizarre but wonderful occurrence that drew in the attention of everyone, almost like it demanded their full attention and awe.

As they immersed their selves in its beauty, a small feline figure was curiously looking at them atop a tree. It tilted its head as it followed the direction they were looking towards.

The luminosity of the scarlet moon gave light upon the fluffy black kitten, its eyes resonated with the moon as they share a similar color.

The black cat stared at the moon for a little while, bathing in its cool rays before looking back at the mother and daughter duo.

Jumping down, it landed softly as it rolled a bit in the green grass.

The sudden sound coming from outside caused Bibi Dong to snap out of her stupor as she became vigilant. She walked closer to the window as she looked towards where the sound came from.

"How did a spirit beast get in here?" She questioned herself as she unconsciously held her daughter closer.

It was impossible for a spirit beast to get in here, in fact, it was impossible for a spirit beat to even come close to the city without being slaughter. So how... How can a spirit beast appear here, not just anywhere, but the home of the strongest Spirit Master in the entire continent without even being noticed?

The only fathomable reason leads to it being this strange phenomenon that has caused this momentary weakness.

She quickly composed herself as she woke up the others in the castle from their stupor by releasing her aura. The fluctuation of spiritual energy did the trick as they snapped back to reality.

One of them quickly came to find her. A woman quickly approached them but stopped some distance away as she knelt down, facing the floor.

"Go tell the guards to wake everyone up, this is a serious emergency." The woman got up without a word as she bowed and excused herself.

Bibi Dong didn't glance at the woman even for a second as she keenly observed the feline spirit beast from the window. Qian Renxue was doing the same. She eagerly watched the little creature as it rolled on the grass and jumped around. Reaching out, she held the window as she leaned closer.

Bibi Dong pulled her back as they made their way outside. After closely observing it and checking it with her spiritual energy, she deemed it safe to approach.

Making sure there is a safe distance between them and the creature, she sat down on the grass with her daughter on her lap.

She couldn't deduce its age, but the spiritual fluctuation from the creature was very unique, differing it from a normal spirit beast.

It didn't take a while for the little kitten to notice the duo as it rolled and rolled, eventually bumping its head against Bibi Dong's knee.

"Meoooow!" The fuzzy little creature released a pained cry as tears welled up in its eyes.

Bibi Dong felt responsible as she reached her hand out slowly as to not scare the kitten away and gently stroked its head. All the while Qian Renxue sat there tilting her head sideways with a confused but curious look.

The kitten responded as it purred and nuzzled its head deeper into her palm.

Unknowingly, a beautiful smile had crept upon Bibi Dong's face as her scarlet eyes softened, making her look like an angel in the moonlight with her golden hair glistening.

She scooped the little creature into the palm of her other hand as she slowly brought it towards her face. Examining the little creature in her palm, her smile couldn't get any bigger when she noticed its scarlet eyes.

She stared at those scarlet eyes as those same scarlet eyes stared back at her.

"Such beautiful eyes, just like mine...well...at least yours are still innocent." As she said this, the smile on her face changed.

Placing the little creature down, she had decided it would be best if the creature escaped to the forest nearby while the guards were still in their dazed state.

But as soon as she placed it down, the feline spirit beast came running back to her, nuzzling its head against her folded leg. She had a helpless expression as she tried to shoo away the little creature, but at the same time, she felt her heart-ache a little, knowing that it wouldn't survive for long out in the wild.

She watched as the little creature attempted to climb her leg from the side. It was adorable, to say the least.

All the while, baby Qian Renxue watched and giggled as the little creature kept trying to jump and climb on her mother's lap, where she was laying comfortably.

Soon Bibi Dong smiled again and placed her hand on the grass, next to the little creature. She didn't have to wait long before the little creature jumped on her hand, snuggling in its warmth as it purred.

She couldn't help but giggle from the ticklish feeling coming from her palm as the little creature wiggle around.

Lifting her hand, she placed it on her lap, in front of her baby so she could also see the adorable little spirit beast.

Qian Renxue naturally became curious as she stared at the creature with her big blue eyes as the creature stared back, equally curious of the unfamiliar face.

Their little stare down ended abruptly as the woman from before came back to inform Bibi Dong about something.

After their little small talk, Bibi Dong stood up and went inside. But this time, with an addition to her little family.

I just wanted to say, the upload schedule will be very irregular, but I can assure you that I have thought this story through. It will differ completely from most DD Fanfics out there. Hope you enjoy it! Also, tell me what you think of the starting point, would you start somewhere else? Merry Christmas
