[3rd Pov] [Location - Mount Justice]
After returning from the mission, the group had went there separate ways. Artemis and Dick returned to Gotham, Kaldur back to wherever he lived, Wally back to his home, and the last three chilling back at the Mountain.
Currently, Gwen was sitting in her room, thinking over and scanning through the new knowledge she has obtained thanks to her new [Toxin Swarm] as she has dubbed it.
The swarms ability was the same as that of it's technological predecessor, except it was faster, tied to the symbiote itself, pretty much untrackable - except through magic - and a host of other uses that she was sure she could find in the future.
Thanks to this new swarm, Gwen had a whole host of ideas for the future. Especially in regards to future worlds, like Marvel, Invincible, and the other worlds she planned on visiting in the future.
'Hmm, seems most of the knowledge they gathered is research related. Not as much weapon schematics as I was expecting. Most of the weapons that they did get, aren't all that impressive, compared to what I could make if given enough time' Gwen thought with a sigh, finding the knowledge the Shadows were gathering, to be a bit underwhelming, and kinda useless.
'I guess the plus side of this, is that I can fill in any gaps in my knowledge with ease' Gwen thought with a shrug, knowing this could be used to get a lot more knowledge than what she already possessed.

'Hmm, that's...easy. I already have a few in mind, most of them being rather easy to get to, I just need to do it discreetly' Gwen thought with a small smirk.
The databases in question, were the Lexcorp databases, the Cadmus databases, and a few other less than good companies, primarily ones related to the Light, and the Shadows. Lexcorp and Cadmus were the two most important ones, as they both had a lot to give, and little either groups could do to her. As long as she was safe and smart, at least.
'For now though, I think it'd be best to just…sleep' Gwen thought, as her eyes slowly fluttered to a close, as she allowed the warmth of Morpheus to overtake her.

[Quite some time later]
Days had passed since the mission had been finished, with a bit happening during time.
For one, Gwen and M'gann had went on a couple more dates during tha time, sadly none of them ended in a kiss like the first one, much to Gwen's disappointment. She still enjoyed every single moment of those dates though, and Gwen was easily noticing the looks M'gann was giving her.
Besides that, Gwen had continued to train her abilities, mostly her spider sense and offensive spider sense.
The ability she focused the most on during this time, was the swarm itself. The ability was...useful, very very useful. Getting the quest done for the five databases was quite easy, as she ended up sneaking into different Lexcorp labs and getting 4 of them, before getting the last one by consuming the database of a hidden company used by the Shadows in order to make some money.
The knowledge gained from the databases, was quite useful, and had a LOT of blackmail material inside.
She hadn't used the SL ticket immediately, as she wanted to use it a little later, before the next mission, which was a rather important one, as it was related to Doctor Fate himself. A dangerous magic user, and one of the most powerful.
Currently, Gwen was within her room, preparing to use her SL ticket. She was hoping for someone with less martial arts, and more useful powers, like teleportation or something.
'System, use the SL ticket please' Gwen thought sitting in her bed.

Raven Darkholme | Mystique - Marvel Earth 616
The shapeshifting Blue beauty of Marvel. A master martial artist on par with Black Widow, Trained Actress, Expert Marksman, and multilingual. Includes her incredibly useful, and rather powerful mutant ability, Metamorph. Making the user more of a "gene shifter" than a "shape-shifter" due to Mystique's ability to alter her internal composition, primary function, and pigmentation of each of her body's cells. Includes her knowledge, her powers, and everything else that may be useful.

'That...that is very useful. Her metamorphic capabilities is one of the best powers I could have gotten in this situation. With the ability to change my very appearance, breaking into companies to get into their databases, will be even easier' Gwen thought with a grin, before stopping as realization settled in, as she realized there was a much better use for this power.
'Wait...with this, I could make an entirely separate hidden identity...I could become an anti-hero, and secretly wipe out various villains. Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Black Mask, Lex, and all the other pieces of shit that don't deserve to live' Gwen thought as she sat up in realization.
With a power like this, she would be able to get away with things she couldn't before. Primarily murdering villains that quite frankly, shouldn't be a live anymore. Joker was at the top of that list.
'System, assimilate' Gwen thought, deciding to get it done with now.
After thinking that, she twitched in pain as her body began to rapidly change. The knowledge was easily assimilated into her mind, and wasn't a problem. But the powers were a separate beast. The pain was down to her very cells, as they began to be warped and reworked to become even better than before.
The pain was far from the worst thing Gwen had felt, and was easy to overcome with the knowledge and experiences she held within her. 'Not the worst' Gwen thought with a flinch at the pain.
Slowly, the pain ceased, as Gwen finished the assimilation, with relative ease this time.
'Hmm, let's try this then' Gwen thought, as her body began to warp and change. Changing into an entirely new appearance and person.
Scars were littered across her new form, short black hair, toned abs, and a slightly shorter apperance.
Gwen grinned in her new form, realizing that this was even better than she was expecting. 'Far better than I could have hoped. With this, I no longer have to fear the consequences of killing the villains. As long as I'm smart of course' Gwen thought, as her appearance returned to it's true one.
'Maki Zenin huh...not the worst fake identity' Gwen thought with a hum, as she watched a new notification blink onto her screen.

Reward - 1 SL Ticket, Repeatable for a maximum of 3 times.
'That'll be easy enough. Could probably get all 3 within a couple of weeks or so. Just gotta be careful about magic, as that's like the only thing that could be used to find me' Gwen thought with a sigh, knowing magic could become a genuine issue for her. As she didn't really have any magical power yet.
'For now though, it'd be best to finish this mission with Doctor Fate, and worry about the rest after' Gwen thought, as she left her room.
'Who knows, maybe Fate won't try anything against me'

Yep, I actually got Mystique lol. Pretty good character to get, all things considered. And kinda perfect for Gwen in this moment, as it gives her a LOT of potential usage for the future.
Gwen and M'gann will be getting together very soon, probably within a couple of chapters or so.
Should Gwen do something with Doctor Fate/Nabu? I was half tempted to have her yoink a certain golden helmet, but Idk if that's the smartest idea or not. It could be cool though, as I've never seen a fic where the mc uses the powers of Doctor Fate like that.
Next chapter will cover a good bit, if not the entirety, of the Doctor Fate episode.
