Chapter 28

"Damn it, don't run!" Kingpin swiped the blood flowing from his nose and roared in anger, chasing after him.

But how could a person catch up with the speed of a subway?

Soon, that train carriage carried Miles Morales away from Kingpin's sight.

Watching the subway car disappear behind a tilted building, Kingpin fell silent for a moment but did not give up.

His mind worked frantically.

People believed that Kingpin was a brute due to his massive physique.

But very few knew that Kingpin's most powerful weapon was his brain!

The next moment, Kingpin's eyes brightened.

He ran quickly, leaping over several crooked and twisted houses in succession.

For some that were impossible to bypass, he smashed them with his fists.

Driven by anger, he didn't care about the blood streaming from his fists due to continuous punching against the walls.

And his relentless pursuit seemed to be effective.

There it was, the train carriage appeared!

Inside the carriage.

Miles Morales leaned against a seat, in a "Uncle Aaron-style" slouched position.

He gently pressed his chest, taking a deep breath, "Hiss... it really cracked, so painful! That guy's fist was too hard!"

However, at that moment...

Boom!

The side door of the subway car was violently kicked open, and a figure larger than a bear forcefully charged in.

"Little Spider!"

"Oh my god!" Miles widened his eyes, "How did you catch up!"

Ignoring the need to tend to his injuries, Miles rolled to the side and rolled off the seat.

Boom!

Kingpin, like a heavily armored tank, crashed heavily into the spot where Miles Morales had just been sitting. The metal seat was twisted, and even the carriage had a dent from the impact.

Now, he had a more vivid understanding of Kingpin's unstoppable force.

But he was not just powerful; he was an agile "big guy."

Kingpin suddenly leaned back, performed a backflip, and then came down with a foot towards the direction where Miles Morales was lying upside down.

Miles Morales didn't expect him to adjust so quickly and was kicked once again.

Next, it entered a series of Kingpin's continuous attacks.

Punch after punch, heavily striking Miles Morales.

Some were barely blocked or dodged by Miles, but a small portion hit him solidly.

Miles Morales was like a small boat in a raging storm, helplessly enduring, praying for the storm to pass.

He attempted to activate his Venom Strike again but to no avail.

The more he tried, the less the ability seemed to come out.

Crack!

At a certain moment, after being hit by two consecutive punches, Miles' stiff body was once again grabbed by Kingpin.

Kingpin held Miles by the throat with one hand, lifting him high, his head almost touching the roof of the subway car.

"You will pay for what you've done!" Kingpin roared and raised his hand.

"Fisk, no, what are you doing?" A cry of alarm made Kingpin freeze in his tracks.

His body trembled slightly as he turned his head.

Two figures, almost ethereal, appeared at the other end of the subway car.

It was his wife and son!

At that moment, his wife had one hand pulling their son close and the other hand covering her mouth. They both looked at Spider-Man in Kingpin's hand and the raised fist, their faces filled with disbelief and terror.

His wife couldn't imagine that her beloved husband, the successful businessman, would do such a thing, even attempting to kill Spider-Man!

And his son couldn't believe that the violent man standing before them was his father!

At this moment, Kingpin's true face was exposed to his closest family members, provoking his panic.

Just like the reaction of his original wife and son in this world when they saw him fighting the first Spider-Man, now his wife and son from parallel world, seeing him holding Miles Morales, the second Spider-Man, also had the same reaction.

After a brief moment of shock, his wife grabbed their son and rushed towards the exit.

"He's not your father, Richard, let's go!"

"No!" Kingpin quickly released Miles, allowing his body to crash onto the chaotic floor of the subway car.

He ran to the door that connected to the other carriages, propping himself up with his hands and shouted, "No! Vanessa! Richard! Come back!"

"I don't think they'll come back," a voice sounded.

Then, the figure of Mark dropped onto the roof of this subway carriage.

He looked mockingly at Kingpin, saying, "Why didn't you chase after them just now? Was it because the door was too narrow for you to squeeze through?"

The door connecting the two carriages was about one meter wide, while Kingpin, with his muscular build, was at least slightly more than a meter wide. It was impossible for him to squeeze through straight.

So, what Mark said was not wrong.

"Heh! So, there's one fool who doesn't know when to leave?" Kingpin's eyes turned crimson, resembling a wild beast as he stared fiercely at Mark. "So, are you prepared to die here?"

"Die here? No, no, no," Mark shook his head repeatedly. "I remember a line from a TV show I like. What do you say in the face of death?"

Kingpin looked coldly at him, showing no intention of engaging in conversation.

Mark didn't care and continued, "Not today!"

In the next moment, the two of them simultaneously made their moves, in perfect synchronization.

Mark placed both hands on the edge of the carriage roof, swinging his body like a pendulum, carving a 270-degree arc in the air, resembling a battle-axe as he struck at Kingpin.

Meanwhile, Kingpin clenched his fist and delivered a powerful punch.

Boom!

Their fists and feet collided, creating a tremendous sound

Mark's body retraced its path, stabilizing itself after completing 90 degrees, then he loosened his grip and landed on the floor of the carriage.

On the other hand, Kingpin took several steps back, his face turning pale.

The outcome was clear!

Despite Kingpin's ferocity, he was ultimately just an ordinary person.

Without superhuman genetic enhancements or advanced technological assistance, his combat abilities were limited.

Especially now that Mark had been empowered by the space-time forces within the particle stream, reaching his potential, Kingpin faced an even tougher challenge.

Despite Kingpin's best efforts, he was quickly overpowered by Mark's superior speed and strength.

Throughout this process, Miles sat by the side, unable to stand due to his injuries.

It wasn't until Mark defeated Kingpin, throwing his unconscious body in front of Miles.

"All right, my task is complete. So, what's your plan for dealing with him?" Mark asked, looking at the unconscious Kingpin.

Miles stared at Kingpin, conflicted once again.

From Kingpin's attitude during the fight with Mark and himself, it was clear that Kingpin was a destructive beast.

Without any attachments, he was consumed by madness.

He wishes to destroy everything!

"Well, it seems you can't decide for now. Let's destroy the collider first," Mark shrugged, effortlessly lifting Kingpin with one hand.

Miles looked at him gratefully and nodded.
