23 Chapter 23
The one who appeared was Spider-Man Noir.
After saying an opening line, he quickly joined the battlefield.
With the addition of this powerful fighter, the pressure on Penny and Mark is suddenly reduced.
Spider-Man Noir also talked as they fought, telling what's the current situation at the other side. And he also didn't forget to use one of his innate skill as he fought, and that skill is his ability to always piss off his opponent.

"Where's Gwen?" Spider-Man Noir asked suspiciously as he deftly weaved his way between green goblin's flailing palms.
Mark replied, "She's injured and resting."
Spider-Man Noir nodded and didn't say anything back.

The Green Goblin was annoyed at the sudden addition of an opponent.
The bottom line was that this opponent was too similar to Peter, who it used to hate the most!
Pretty much the same voice.
Pretty much the same nonsense!
The verbal harassment that was even more frequent than his punching and kicking attacks made the green goblin dizzy in rage.
For Doc Ock to make the prowler furious, it had to go through a meticulous observation and analysis trial and error before finally picking out his soft underbelly.
Peter Parker, however, makes the Green Goblin angry with a few simple words.
That's Spider-Man's trick, and it's scary as hell!
Mark watched in wonder.
He hadn't thought that Peter's talkative nature was useful when he watched their movie versions in the past, but now it seemed to be of great use.
"GRAAAHHH!"
The Green Goblin roared and his wings snapped together, kicking up a huge gust of wind that flew towards Spider-Man Noir.
With a flash, Spider-Man Noir dodged the rage-laden blow.
Compared to Mark, his movements were indeed far too crisp and clean.
Of course what was even more impressive was his combat experience.
Compared to Mark and Miles, who were both just starting out, and Gwen and Penny, who were already experienced but weren't exactly veterans (they hadn't been Spider-Man for too long), Spider-Man Noir had a lot of experience in combat.
The Green Goblin, who Mark and the three of them could barely handle, was outmanoeuvred by Spider-Man Noir.
Suddenly, Spider-Man Noir swung to a high ground.
The Green Goblin, who was completely enraged by him, immediately followed suit.
And right at that moment, Spider-Man Noir made a violent turn, his hands moved in unison, and several webs shot one after another at the Green Goblin's eyes, ears, and all parts of his body.
At the same time, Noir's figure also kicked hard on the wall behind him, changed direction quickly, and landed on the head of the green goblin.
At this point, the Green Goblin was still tearing the spider silk from his face due to the loss of his five senses.
Spider-Man Noir, however, took out a revolver and directly shoved it into the Green Goblin's ear.
*Boom!*
There was a muffled bang.
Fire exploded in the Green Goblin's head.
The Green Goblin's figure lurched in the air, and then, like an eagle with broken wings, it fell downwards.
Spider-Man Noir pulled on the spider silk with one hand, and with the other turned back to Mark and Penny with a gesture of success.
Mark and Penny returned a thumbs up.
The performance just now had been nothing short of brilliant!
The Green Goblin had gone from being alive to unknown state in the blink of an eye!
After seeing Noir's battle prowess, Mark then deeply realized the gap between himself and him.
No wonder Spider-Man Noir was angry at his earlier complacency.
Snap!
Spider-Man landed in front of Mark and Penny: "How about it, wasn't I handsome just now."
Mark just gave another thumbs up with a pearly white smile.
Penny didn't mince her words of praise either, "Uncle, you're amazing!"
Spider-Man Noir didn't seem to like being called like that, "Uncle?"
A puzzled emoticon appeared on the spider mech, revealing Penny's demeanour at the moment, "Huh, I'm 14 years old this year, so i should call you uncle right? Since we're both Spider-Person. Hehe."
Spider-Man Noir, "That's why I don't like kids,"
Mark chuckled.
"Okay," after a bit of pouting, Noir squared his shoulders, "Where's Gwen? We need to converge, go help them over there, and then take out Kingpin together. There should only be about a minute and fifty seconds remaining that we can use to safely operate that collider."
Mark immediately looked over to Gwen's side.
Buzz--
At that moment, however, Spider-Sense was activated!
"Ah!!"
A scream came from below.
"Not good, it's Gwen!" Mark's face changed and he immediately jumped down.
Seeing this, Spider-Man Noir and Penny followed without hesitation.
Passing through the steel crossbar assumed overhead, the scene below appeared in front of the three.
The they saw Green Goblin, who they had originally already dealt with was actually approaching Gwen at this moment!
But Gwen had previously been seriously injured by the Green Goblin, and even if the her kind's recovery ability was outstanding, she still hadn't recovered enough.
She could only barely stand up and move her feet to retreat to the back.
But her speed was too slow.
The Green Goblin's hand was already almost touching her!
"How is it possible! Being shot through a fragile ear hole and not dying?!" Noir was a bit surprised.

"Damn monster!" Spider-Man Noir cursed, and whirled around and dashed down.
However, there was someone else who was faster than him this time.
Mark
Seeing Gwen being chased by the Green Goblin, Mark didn't know where he got a strength from, and it swept right through his mind, prompting him to stimulate some kind of speciality in his body.
And the next moment, a magical scene happened.
Mark's figure suddenly disappeared in front of the two Spider-Men, and then, suddenly appeared above Green Goblin's head.
In an instant, he unexpectedly spanned tens of meters of distance.
*Boom!*
Even Mark himself couldn't react to what happened before his body and Green Goblin ruthlessly collided together.
