127 Chapter 127

Similar to the situation with Toby Spider, the Venom symbiote held deep grudges after being discarded by the 94th Spider.

Combining with Eddie Brock, a journalist from the Daily Bugle who held a grudge against Spider-Man, they became Venom.

When the symbiote merged with Spider-Man, it shared his secrets and replicated many of his abilities.

During their battles with Venom, Spider-Man often found himself on the losing side, even getting captured and unmasked in public.

Fortunately, they were in a high-rise building, and it was nighttime. The people below couldn't discern his true face, allowing the 94th Spider to escape successfully.

Afterward, he eventually discovered Venom's weakness and lured the symbiote to a rocket launch pad. He managed to separate it from Eddie Brock and sent it into space via the rocket.

He also crossed paths with S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury and Black Widow. While they fought, they also apprehended another wanted criminal, the Chameleon.

The Chameleon didn't have extraordinary physical abilities, but he could freely change his appearance using a belt, causing confusion during the fight.

However, in the end, the 94th Spider, using his intelligence and wit, captured the Chameleon and resolved misunderstandings with the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, turning enemies into allies.

These events represent the content of the first season and can be seen as the 94th Spider's "coming-of-age" period.

During this time, he transformed from a clever college student into an intelligent superhero.

He also met Mary Jane Watson and Felicia Hardy during this period, maintaining a good relationship with both of them.

Mark wasn't particularly interested in the 94th Spider's rich love life.

However, Mary Jane Watson was one of the reasons he came to this world.

In this version, Mary Jane Watson is a good girl who genuinely cares about Peter Parker.

But later, during a battle between the 94th Spider and the Green Goblin, she was sucked into a black hole world by a time-travel device and disappeared forever.

This is something many find hard to accept, and it's a lifelong pain for the 94th Spider. Many would like to see him save Mary Jane Watson and see them live happily together.

Aside from this, there are other reasons that drove him to this world.

First, there is a mysterious artifact known as the "Tablet of Time" mentioned in the story. This artifact possesses magical properties, allowing a person to regain their youth.

Initially, it fell into the hands of Silvermane. However, he was turned into a child by the Tablet of Time after using it.

Afterward, Toomes studied the Tablet of Time and invented a device that could temporarily absorb time from others and transform into the Vulture.

He even used this ability to transfer the 94th Spider's youth and strength to himself, creating an incredibly overpowered situation.

Because Mark himself had powers related to time and space, he was genuinely interested in the Tablet of Time, as he might be able to gain something from it.

Second, there are the mysterious Madame Web and the Beyonder.

In the canonical Madame Web's story, she is a mutant afflicted with a congenital neurodegenerative condition resulting in blindness and severe myasthenia. She possesses powerful psychic and telepathic abilities, enabling her to perceive events happening around her and even foresee some future occurrences.

In this world, she resides in an alternate dimension and quietly observes the 94th Spider. Occasionally, she summons him.

It appears that she doesn't have exceptional physical abilities and is portrayed as an old lady who spends most of her time sitting in a chair.

But in the final part of the show, she claimed to be the subordinate of the Beyonder.

In the Marvel Universe, there's a character known as the Beyonder, said to be a being above all multiverses.

Mark always thought it was merely a character introduced by the people of his world to add excitement to the story.

Before this, he had verified that many aspects of his world differed from what he encountered.

However, in the world of the 94th Spider, this guy named the Beyonder seems to be one of the Beyonders!

In the series, he indeed displays some incredibly powerful abilities.

For example, he instantly transported Dr. Octopus, the Lizard, Dr. Doom, Alistair Smythe, and the Red Skull from Earth to a paradise planet when he first appeared.

The intelligent life on this planet had never known concepts of "evil" since their birth. They used technology to eliminate hunger, suffering, and misfortune. Everyone lived in immense happiness.

However, after the Beyonder sent those several supervillains to this planet, it turned into hell within a year. The native people were slaughtered and enslaved on a massive scale.

And he did this only to validate the concepts of "good" and "evil."

During this time, he also demonstrated the ability to leap through time, directly leaping forward one year.

Manipulating time and space, conducting experiments with countless lives on an entire planet, it revealed his power and his propensity to exercise it as he saw fit.

But there's a major question in all of this.

After the "Secret War" to determine the secrets of good and evil was completed, the Beyonder and Madame Web finally revealed their true purpose for seeking the 94th Spider.

In one universe, a geneticist named Miles Warren replicated the genetic code of Spider-Man Peter Parker, creating a clone.

However, the clone escaped from the cloning tank and adopted the name "Ben Reilly."

But later, Dr. Connors discovered that perhaps Ben Reilly was the real Peter Parker, and the current Peter Parker was just a clone.

In this world, Ben harbored deep hatred for Peter and wanted to kill him.

Later, Kingpin constructed a time-traveling device to connect with other dimensions. Peter tried to stop it, but he was attacked by Ben.

Within the open portal, the Carnage symbiote escaped and merged with Ben, turning into Spider-Carnage.

Carnage Spider attempted to use a device to destroy all multiverses.

The Beyonder claimed to have consumed all his power to reverse time across the multiverse, leaving him almost powerless, so he sought the 94th Spider and other Spider-Men summoned from different universes to join forces against Carnage Spider and stop his actions.

So, here's the question.

In the previous Secret War event, he still had so much power. How did he become so powerless after crossing over? If this time reversal thing had just happened, why did he hold the Secret War event in advance?

And if he foresaw all of this happening, then there was no need for him to hold the Secret War event. He could have simply eliminated Carnage Spider in advance, which would have been enough to prevent everything.

These two explanations are completely contradictory! So Mark suspected that the so-called Secret War was just a dream concocted by Madame Web, and the Beyonder didn't actually exist.

Madame Web possessed the ability to foresee the future. She foresaw the emergence of Carnage Spider and knew that his actions could threaten the multiverse. So, she created this dream scenario to make the 94th Spider understand his inner self, so that he wouldn't fall into darkness due to self-doubt and be controlled by the symbiote.

Subsequently, she used her abilities to summon several Spider-Men, including the 94th Spider, with the aim of defeating Carnage Spider and preventing this multiverse crisis.

Of course, all of this is just Mark's conjecture.

So, he wanted to visit this world to validate his own speculations.

As for whether his and Gwen's appearance will attract attention, it's not important. Because from the original storyline, the common goal of Madame Web and the Beyonder is to prevent the destructive actions of Carnage Spider. Now, with the addition of him and Gwen, two powerful allies, why would they refuse?

They're probably thrilled! Besides, with the enhanced control of destiny's power, he can easily create a little "disguise" for himself and Gwen.

---

Woo-woo-woo—

The long wailing sirens echoed through the streets.

In the city's streets, over a dozen police cars rushed from all directions, sealing off the area.

Police Chief Terri Lee ordered her subordinates, "What are you waiting for? Turn on the searchlights!"

"Yes!"

Several officers immediately adjusted the massive searchlights on the police cars, directing their beams onto a wall.

In a corner of the street, there was a pale young man in a black jacket, who, when he saw the searchlights turning his way, panicked and flew up.

His name was Michael Morbius.

Not long ago, the 94th Spider had decided to study his own blood due to genetic instability, so he left some blood samples in the school's equipment.

Morbius had stolen the school's equipment for experiments and accidentally introduced some of the 94th Spider's mutated genes into his body, turning him into a vampire who constantly attacked humans to sustain himself.

On the other side, an even stranger character appeared on the opposite wall.

He was wearing Spider-Man's red and blue costume, but he had six arms!

He was the 94th Spider.

Due to issues with genetic mutation, he had sought help from friends but ended up taking an imperfect serum, which exacerbated his mutation and led to his current appearance as the Six-Armed Spider-Man.

Seeing Morbius flying up, the 94th Spider made a sudden pounce and rescued him from the searchlights.

Both of them landed on a rooftop.

Upon seeing the 94th Spider's appearance, Morbius was also greatly surprised. "How did you end up like this?"

The 94th Spider scratched his head. "Let's put it this way, you're not the only one with mutations."

"Yikes!" Morbius didn't want to stay with him longer. In fact, he hated Spider-Man quite a bit and didn't want to be around him for a moment longer.

He immediately flew up, holding the 94th Spider in his arms, and then tossed him away.

The 94th Spider, who grew four extra arms, was unaccustomed to the sudden fight, and didn't want to harm Morbius, so he quickly ended up at a disadvantage and was thrown away.

Morbius took the opportunity to leave the scene.
