Ch-3 First Day High School: Part-2

Peter was concentrating on his studies on his first day of high school while also thinking about all the other things that were going on around him.

'Man, what the first day of school. Missing my school bus, Harry not liking me, and the girl I like is going out with him. Can this day go any worse?' Peter sighed.

Just as Peter was thinking this, the school bell rang, and the first half of lectures were complete.

It was break time.

"Finally, break time. I am hungry like an ape. Come on, dude." Ned said to Peter and started packing all his stuff.

"Yeah, let's get out of here," Peter said to Ned, looking at Harry and MJ leaving together.

"Dude, let it go," Ned consoled Peter.

Ned and Peter started heading towards the canteen.

"Peter, did you see the new Avengers tower they are building after that crazy ass alien invasion in New York." Ned showed Peter the construction of the Avengers tower pics on his phone.

"Man, that was some epic battle, right?" Ned asked Peter, still looking at the phone.

'Glad to know the Avengers exist in this universe also. That means that Dr. Strange must also exist here.'

"Yeah, man, that invasion was something else," Peter said to Ned.

Ned and Peter were walking down the hallway talking.

At that exact moment, Flash came running from behind, bumped their heads with each other, and started making fun of them. "Are you faggots talking about who of is more of a wimp? I bet my money on Puny Parker. He can be called the King of the Wimps with you as his queen Neddy boy."

Listening to this, all the boys with Flash and other students started laughing.

'Alright, that's it. I think I have had enough of Flash Thompson for one lifetime. I don't think I can go over it once again.' Peter said to himself in a quiet furious way.

Flash left and started walking ahead of them.

Suddenly, he heard Peter shout from behind, "Hey, Flash. Instead of making of us if only you would have concentrated on studying, you would be a year ahead of us and not again repeating the second year(In this universe, Flash is a year older than others)."

Listening to this, all the children in the hallway started laughing.

Flash turned around with burning rage in his eyes. "What did you just say, Parker? Think you're pretty funny, don't you, faggot?"

"Dude, what are you doing?" Ned asked Peter in a slightly scared voice.

"What I should have done from the start." Peter replied to Flash and asked him, "Hey Flash, where are all your laughing buddies now?"

Hearing this, Flash gritting his teeth, shouted, "You are dead, Parker."

Flash ran towards Peter with a clenched fist.

Flash tried to punch Peter, but Peter ducked at the last moment with shocking speed, and Flash lost a little of his balance.

Seeing this, Flash got enraged and started trying to hit Parker.

Flash started throwing punches like left jab, right hook, uppercut, one after another, but Peter dodged all of them.

'Not today, Flash,' Peter said to himself as he was sick of hearing Flash's insults for him.

All the other students were shocked at how Peter was doing this because up until now they only saw Peter getting his ass handed up by Flash and not deflecting his attacks.

As Peter was deflecting Flash's attacks, he saw all the other students and thought, 'As much as I would like to beat up Flash, I should control myself, or they would know that something is wrong. But I need to teach Flash a lesson.'

At that moment, Peter came up with an idea.

He teased Flash, "What's the matter, Flash? Can't beat up Puny Parker."

Hearing this Flash, shouted and ran towards him.

At the last moment, Peter dodging his punch got at his side, and he put his foot in the middle of Flash's legs.

With this, Flash fell to the ground on his face.

As Flash fell, all the students started laughing at him while Flash's friends were shocked to see the agility in Peter.

"Whoa, dude, that was so cool," Ned said to Peter in almost a shouting voice.

While all this was happening, Peter saw the same platinum-blonde girl in a black top and jeans from the morning passing and glanced at what had happened there.

Seeing all the students laughing at him, Flash got up and said, "You got lucky, Parker, but you will pay for this."

Saying this, Flash turned and went towards the ground with his cronies following him.

"Dude, that was awesome. Where did you learn to do that? You were so fast and agile. I have never seen you like that." Ned said surprisingly.

"I ran into an old and wise master who taught me the mysterious ways of 'How to make your bullies your bit*h'," Peter said jokingly.

"Now, let's go to the cafeteria. I am starving," Peter said to Ned.

"Hey, Ned, who is that girl?" Peter asked Ned while pointing at the girl.

"Oh, she is a new student. She started this year. Prof. Henry introduced her yesterday on the field trip after you left. Her name is Felicia something," Ned replied. "Why? What happened?"

"Nothing, it's just that I saw her today while I was trying to catch the school bus," Peter said while looking at the girl.

'She looks an awful lot like ...' Peter was thinking this just then he heard a voice from behind.

"Peter, Ned, where have you guys been?"

Peter and Ned turned around, and Peter saw a beautiful blonde 5'7" girl with blue eyes and square glasses. She was wearing a green hoodie and gray jeans.

'Is that... Oh, my God. Gwen.' Peter was shocked to see the first love of his life standing in front of him.

Tears filled up in his eyes, and he immediately ran and hugged her, "Oh, Gwen, it's so good to see you." Peter said in a trembling voice.

"Peter, what's going on?" Gwen asked in an embarrassed and awkward tone.

'What am I doing? This isn't my universe. This isn't my Gwen. I should probably stop hugging her.' Thinking this, Peter released Gwen from his embrace and stood in front of her, embarrassed.

"Peter, what was that?" Gwen asked Peter in a slight scolding manner.

"Oh, well, nothing. It's just that it's good to see you after so long." Peter said to Gwen in embarrassment.

"Why? We just met yesterday on the field trip. And by the way, where did you go yesterday from the middle of the field trip? Are you all right?" Gwen started asking Peter in a worried manner

"Oh, he was just not feeling good yesterday, so he left, and he's been acting weird today too," Ned told Gwen, in between looking at Peter with suspicion.

"Weird how?" asked Gwen.

"Come on, I will tell you on the way to the cafeteria," Ned told Gwen and they both started walking towards the cafeteria.

"Come on, Peter," Gwen said to Peter.

"Yeah, coming ...". Peter stopped in mid-sentence.

'What are you doing, Parker? Don't you remember the fate of your Gwen just because she knew you? No, no, I can't let that happen again. Not to Gwen, not to anybody.'

Thinking this, Peter called out to Ned and said, "Hey, Ned, you guys go, I have some work to do."

'I have to get my feelings in order before I do something that I regret.' Peter said to himself, heavy-heartedly, and ran towards the classroom with teary eyes.

"Ok, Pete, see you later," Ned said and started talking to Gwen again. "So Flash again started bullying us today, and then suddenly ..."

Gwen looked at Peter, who was running in the opposite direction with worry.

After that, the whole day Peter tries to stay away from Gwen.

Even when she tries to sit next to him in biology class, he changes his seat.

'What is wrong with Peter? Is it because of that hug? Because I did not mind that.' Gwen thought while watching Peter trying to look away from her.

'When will this day and drama end.' Peter said while looking and Gwen, who was looking at him and smiling.

Just as the final bell rang, 'Finally, I can get out of here.' Peter said to himself.

As he was packing his stuff, Gwen came and asked Peter, "Hey, Peter, would you mind helping me with this quantum mechanics problem? I mean, I have done it but would like a second opinion."

"Um... Sorry, Gwen, I have to run but, why don't you ask Ned. Ok, Bye," Peter said in a hurry.

Before Gwen could say anything else, Peter ran outside the classroom door.

'Sorry about this, Gwen'

'What has happened to Peter?' Gwen looked at the door with confusion.

'Man. that was hard ignoring Gwen all day.' Peter, thinking about Gwen while sitting on the bus for Bleecker Street.

'Hope Doctor Strange is here right now. I want some answers for this mix-up.' Peter thought to himself.

After about 15-20 minutes, Peter reached his destination.

Standing outside 177A Bleecker Street, looking at the house in front of him, Peter sighed and said, "Well, here goes nothing" and rang the bell."
