79 Chapter 79

[Third Person's PoV]

"We can't wait for Miles... so we're going with the original plan," Peter B said after glitching slightly for a second.

"Peter B, you don't have to do this. I can stay–" Gwen2 tried to change Peter B's mind, but to no avail; he had already made his decision.

"There's no need. I've already made up my mind," he said with determination as he shot his webs towards the ceiling of the collider, with the others following close behind him.

As Peter B started tapping the ceiling for the hidden compartment, Peter's spidey-senses blared at him. He instinctively stood up on the ceiling and turned his body to the side before throwing his fist forward, making contact with the green giant goblin who flew towards him at quick speed.

Due to the Green Goblin's flying momentum, Peter was pushed back and lifted off from the ceiling. But before he could get far, Peter's mechanical legs sprung from his back and stabbed themselves towards the ceiling.

"Norman! I'm so glad you're alive~ I had hoped that was the case when I didn't see your body in the footage," Peter grinned, his tone jovial.

But the goblin only roared, causing spit to fly everywhere before it flapped its wings and flew towards Peter in a blur.

But Peter wasn't the only one that got attacked.

"Peter!" Gwen couldn't help but call out before she or the others could swing into action. Their spidey-senses tingle, causing them all to jump out, including Peter B, who found the hidden compartment but couldn't plug in the goober due to being attacked.

Below them, Shocker was seen with his fist stretched out upwards, laughing maniacally while sending his vibrations towards them.

"We have to stop him, or else he's going to cause the collider to malfunction and we'll be stuck here!" Gwen shouted before rushing towards him. But her spidey-senses tingled, and she was tackled by the Vulture.

Luckily, her spider legs came out on time, protecting her from getting any sort of injury.

"The hell is your problem, you creepy old man!" Gwen shouted as she landed back safely.

Her shouting surprised Vulture, causing him to flap his wings forward, slowing him down. "Wha–"

"I mean, come on! This is the second time you've come at me specifically. Once, I can understand since I had the goober, but twice just means you have an agenda, and that's just plain old gross!" Gwen shouted once more in a mocking, disgusted voice.

The Vulture's face quickly grew red with embarrassment. "Y-Y-YOU BITCH!" he shouted before diving towards Gwen with hatred and anger clouding his judgment.

Gwen surrounded her fist with ice and smirked, "I know you are, but what am I?" she taunted as the Vulture fast approached.

Meanwhile, the others weren't saved as well. From behind Shocker, Tombstone appeared, which Noir decided would be his opponent. By his side, Scorpion thrust his stinger at them, coated with a bit of green liquid at the tip, most likely poison.

Spider-Ham and Peni both looked at each other and silently decided it would be best if they both dealt with him together.

Leaving only the Shocker for Gwen2 to deal with. "It looks like you want round 2, girly," Shocker said as he noticed her fast approaching, focusing his attention on her. He punched the air repeatedly, sending blasts of vibrations towards Gwen2, who used her years of acrobatics to perfectly dodge them.

Seeing the villains distracted, Peter B used this chance to try and insert the goober into the compartment he found. But as he went to insert it, tentacles wrapped around his arm before enveloping his entire body and squeezing his neck.

The tentacle pulled him to face Doc Ock face to face. "Why hello there, Spider-Man," she spat venomously. "It appears you have something for me?" she said in a mocking tone, wrapping her fixed, previously destroyed, tentacles harder around Peter B.

"Hey, Lizzy~ long time no see," Peter B's voice strained as he was being choked. "You look different, did you do something with your hair? I gotta say, it looks nice."

Meanwhile, Peter was having a blast fighting the Green Goblin. They flew and swung around the place, with Peter slashing his spider legs at him while Green Goblin threw heavy punches towards Peter.

Peter made sure to be careful not to damage the collider as he battled the goblin. The goblin surprised Peter by grabbing him by his tail and sending him flying towards the side of the wall, causing it to cave in slightly.

"It's always the fucking tail," Peter groaned in annoyance before he saw a small orange pumpkin flashing a red light.

Peter's eyes widened as he surrounded himself with electricity, launching himself from the wall and shooting his web towards the pumpkin. He threw it back perfectly towards the Green Goblin, who wasn't expecting it.

The flashing red lights quickened before exploding on his face. Peter smirked as he watched the Green Goblin fall.

Quickly swinging his way towards the goblin, Peter caught him with a web as he was falling. He then grabbed the web with two hands before spinning in the air slightly as he threw him towards the wall as payback, causing spit to unintentionally come out of the goblin's mouth.

As the goblin clung to the wall, it grabbed the web stuck on him in pain and yanked it towards himself.

Peter, being pulled, smirked, as that was his plan all along. When the goblin saw Peter, it extended its fist, trying to punch him. But Peter simply leaned back mid-air.

As he leaned back, he saw the goblin's fist brush in front of his face underneath it before shooting the walls with his web and pulling himself towards the goblin, which added more force to when he was getting pulled.

Both of Peter's feet sank onto the goblin's stomach, causing it to puke out purple blood. While he sank onto the goblin, Peter pulled more on the wall, causing the Green Goblin to cave into the wall some more.

The goblin's eyes rolled to the back of his head due to the force of Peter's kick. "You probably can't hear me, so although you aren't my Norman, you'll have to do. I call this next move, trauma dumbing," Peter muttered.

Peter started to punch the unconscious goblin in the face for a few seconds before stopping and aiming its spider legs right on its forehead.

He stayed silent for a few seconds before lowering the spider legs away and letting out a sigh. 'I know I should probably kill him. I know I should do it. I, me, myself, more than anyone in the world should know why I should do it.'

Peter touched the Spider symbol on his chest. 'But that's not the reason why I became Spider-Man. That's not the reason why I wear this symbol on my chest. One of the reasons Spider-Man was so beloved and adorned by everyone, no matter the age, is his determination to not give up and help those around him, even those that did him wrong… It's one of the reasons why I adored the original Spider-Man. It was one of the reasons why he was my hero.'

Peter didn't say anything as he started to wrap the Green Goblin in more webs, webs that were very difficult to break out of.

Meanwhile, everyone was still engaging in their fights with their opponents, some close to finishing their fights, while some were still having difficulty.

Due to the multiple hits the Vulture had taken, his speed had decreased significantly. Gwen pulled herself towards the ceiling before pushing herself towards the Vulture's back, who was too slow to dodge. As she kicked him and her foot touched his back, frost started to spread throughout his suit.

Due to the force of Gwen's kick, the Vulture was plunged towards the ground, shattering his entire suit upon crashing, leaving him unconscious and mostly naked, which caused Gwen to cover her mouth and try not to throw up.

Meanwhile, Doc Ock, who had Peter B wrapped around her tentacles, just scoffed. "Enough of this, I have had enough of your jokes, Spider-Man. I'll kill you right here and now," she said with a wicked grin and a glint off her glasses.

Just as she was about to plunge her free tentacle into Peter B, it suddenly stopped. No matter how much she tried to command it to move, it just wouldn't budge.

She looked at the tentacle, a bit confused. 'Did I mess up the repairs?' she thought to herself.

Miles undid his invisibility, taking Doc Ock by surprise and punching her in the face, which caused her to unconsciously release her hold on Peter B.

"Kid! Is that you?" Peter B asked, looking at Miles in his new Spider-Man suit.

Instead of the black and red he was supposed to be wearing, Miles now had a black and purple Spider-Man suit in honor of his Uncle who supported his idea of becoming Spider-Man.

"You look amazing!" Peter B shouted, sounding proud.

"Yo Miles, looking good, my guy!" Peter said while carrying an unconscious Green Goblin on his shoulder, walking towards them.

Their spidey-senses flared up once more, making them jump out of the way as Doc Ock threw the metallic ceiling tiles at them.

They sensed more danger, causing them to move around. People with laser guns were rushing out, aiming at everyone and trying to shoot them down.

"This is going to be difficult," Peter B sighed.

"No, it's not," Gwen said, appearing before them after her battle with Vulture.

"She's right, this is going to be easy," Peter said, putting down the goblin and dodging the laser bullets. "Gwen and I will deal with the foot soldiers while the two of you will deal with the hentai tentacle fetish lady."

Miles and Peter B nodded, agreeing with the plan. But before they could begin, they noticed the collider building up more power, a black mass started forming in the center of the collision of energy.

"Let's finish this quickly!" Peter B shouted as he and Miles ran towards Doc Ock.

"Luckily for you guys, this spider was built for speed," Peter said with a savage grin as electricity crackled around him slightly, while his spider suit glowed more blue.

He quickly became a blur, leaving behind a blue trail thanks to his suit. Everywhere Peter passed, the bodies of the soldiers fell unconscious, no matter how many times they tried to stop him by shooting at him.

Gwen followed close behind, freezing people in place while disarming them, but not as quickly as Peter. After all, just like he said, he was made for speed.

The others quickly joined after finishing their battles, leaving Scorpion, Tombstone, and Shocker unconscious. They followed Peter and Gwen's lead, taking down everyone while the area around them crumbled and glitched due to the black mass forming in the center.

As Peter knocked people unconscious, he slowly made his way towards Kingpin. He kicked the door to the control room down, "Trick or Treat, fatso!"

"Spider-Man! Always ruining my plans! I killed one and more show up. Like the bugs you are, I'll crush you. I killed one spider, what's another to the list," Kingpin growled.

"Shut up, bro, you're built like a one-by-one Lego piece!" Peter said, giving him the middle finger.

Enraged, Kingpin charged towards Peter, but Peter dodged his punch and grabbed his arms with both hands before throwing him out of the control room.

Kingpin quickly recovered and charged towards Peter once more. "Jesus Christ, man, I have super strength and I still had trouble picking you up. How much do you weigh?"

Peter kept taunting Kingpin while easily dodging his attacks, as to Peter, he was too slow. Peter then got serious and started counterattacking, each punch he delivered bruised Kingpin's body even with his durability.

Peter shot his webs towards Kingpin's legs and yanked him off his feet before he had a chance to react. "Earthquake! Everyone, take cover!" Peter taunted, angering Kingpin further.

Before he could get up, Peter caught him on top of him and started punching him in the face until blood started leaking and teeth started disappearing from his mouth.

"This *punch*, is, *punch*, for, *punch*

*punch*

Space

*punch*

*punch*"

(A/N: Peter literally said the word Space out loud, just to be clear lol)

Peter just looked at the barely conscious Kingpin. 'Although I said the OG Spider-Man was my hero, that doesn't mean I wouldn't do things my way, and my way is putting the fear of God in them until they leave the life of crime.'

Peter held Kingpin's bloody collar and pulled him closer to his face, whispering words only Kingpin could hear, "Listen here. Should anything, and I mean anything, happen to this world's Aunt May, trust me when I say I would know about it. I would haunt you down to the very edge of the multiverse if I have to.

"From this day forward, you're nothing but a bug caught in my webs. Every single movement, every single breath, every twitch of your muscles, I would know of it. The only reason a spider would leave a prey on its web after it's caught and not do anything is because it's not worth its while. But should you do something that displeases that spider, it just may end up ending your pathetic, miserable life. I would break that killing promise I made towards myself at any moment, so watch yourself."

"My God, kid, what have you done!?" The others soon appeared after knocking and tying everyone else unconscious.

"What I had to do. This was payback for Aunt May after what he put her through. So relax, would you?" Peter said towards Peter B while wiping off his bloody hands on Kingpin's suit.

"Relax?! You went too far!" Peter B shouted.

"Listen, I don't tell you how to be Spider-Man, so don't come lecturing me on how to do it. You do it the way you want to do it, and I'll do it the way I want to do it," Peter said, standing up.

Peter B was about to retort before Noir just put a hand on his shoulder and shook his head, which caused him to sigh. "Fine. I won't say any more, but I still think it was too heavy-handed."

Peter nodded his head. "And you're within your rights to think that. Now, is everything taken care of?"

Gwen nodded her head, causing Peter to nod right back. He turned towards Miles and smiled, "Well, my young spiderling, it's time to see us home."

"But before that, pictures anyone?" Peter said, taking out his phone with a smirk.

The others rolled their eyes before they brought themselves together, squeezing against one another as Peter took a selfie.

After saving the picture, Peter and Gwen walked hand in hand towards the collider.

"You got everything, Aria?" Peter asked with a smirk.

"*Who do you think I am, of course, I do*," Aria replied with a scoff.

Peter turned towards the others and gave them his signature salute. "Well, we'll be the first ones off then. Until next time, guys. Oh, and Miles, don't worry about anything. You'll be an amazing Spider-Man."

Just as they were jumping in, Peter shouted, "But I'll always be better!"

And with that, Peter and Gwen soon started returning towards their universe, ending their multiverse adventure.…
