17 Little Rabbit

Mo Chou was having a blast at home. She had been given leave for a month from the university as she was shot within the premises.

She even got visited by her dorm mates often and each time they bought a unique dish for her to try which was a delicious and new experience for her. She was getting used to her new friends now slowly but surely.

Mo Chou was also getting spoiled by her parents as her father Liu Qiang had given her a brand new black card to shop and her mother Mo Li would give her something exciting every day. Mo Chou was blinded by all the bling bling around her as the previous host had clearly gotten her obsessiveness of glitter and pink from her mother.

Even though she felt awkward at first, she was getting used to all the affection she got from her mother. Mo Li would constantly shower her with hugs and cuddles. They even spent hours painting each other's nails and reading gossip magazines. All in all it was a very pleasant experience for Mo Chou.

Mo Chou was also counting all the money she got as she got and secretly arranging for it to be deposited into her secret account. She had actually been planning on running away before the main plot began but she wasn't really sure now as she was getting attached to her friends and Mo Li.

It was clear that Mo Li loved her very much and would be miserable if she ran away. She hadn't even questioned the change of character on Mo Chou and just accepted it. Mo Chou wondered how she had ended up in the original novel as Mo Li was only mentioned once or twice in the novel.

'She must have been devastated that her daughter had such a miserable ending'. thought Mo Chou 'Well as long as I'm here I will try to be the best daughter to her'.

Mo Chou also missed her assassin work and was feeling slightly blood thirsty. She had also been slacking off on training as she was busy accompanying her mother every day. She was receiving lots of messages from the Assassin Organization asking her why she wasn't accepting any missions and regarding her well being.

Mo Chou had been added in a group chat by the assassin organization where some ridiculous person had nicknamed her as Big Boss and people were flocking her with messages. Mo Chou simply ignored them and muted the group chat.

Bai Fang was in the directors room, crying while showing Director Luo a video. The video was of the drama scene which the food blogger had posted. It had garnered a lot of attention especially after the netizens found out that Mo Chou had been shot.

The video was still trending at the top place, kicking out the recent top one which was a video of Bai fang and a famous male actor. Bai fang had hired lots of bots in order to get the video to the number one spot but was defeated by a 'simple little girl with no acting skills' according to her.

Director Luo couldn't bear seeing her teary and pale face so he took her into his arms and tenderly kissed her. He was also furious as he had invested a lot of money into hiring the famous actor for a short video.

"Don't cry Fangfang, I will help you reach the top again and we will destroy the little girl so that she won't be a threat to you in the future." said Director Luo. Bai fang dried her tears and said "Thank you honey." She smiled seductively and pulled the director's tie, slipping a hotel key card in his pocket and left swaying her hips while the director watched her in a haze.

Lu Jinhai looked as rigid and icy as ever in the meeting. He had been giving off a cold aura for many days now, even weeks. The executives were thinking what dramatic thing had happened for him to turn into a devil all of a sudden.

Even Huo Jichen was confused since his boss was a cold person, but never this fierce. He wondered if it was because of the girl his boss was recently interested in.' His mood swings have been worse ever since the girl got shot. Is she really gonna be our new lady boss?' thought Huo Jichen.

Lu Jinhai had recently been looking at his phone the whole day as if he was waiting for someone's text. He would try to throw the phone but stop himself and pat it as if it was something precious. Even though there was not much expression on his face, everyone could see that he was frustrated over something.

The meeting they were currently sitting in had been going on for hours. The employees had not been able to go home even though the office hours had ended long ago. They were all hungry and tired and even willing to jump ropes as long as they could go home.

They were holding their breaths when all of a sudden there was a loud notification sound and a message on the big screen. Although they could not see the message, everyone was shocked because the name of the sender was 'little rabbit' with a heart next to it.

Lu Jinhai immediately turned off the projector and said " meeting dismissed".

Everyone was shocked but also relieved . They all went home with the same question revolving their mind

'Who exactly was this little rabbit?'
