I haven't read much so it may change, but the character interactions and dialogue is absolutely atrocious. I can't stand it anymore. It's plain bad, and I hope it improves later on, because there is a ton of potential in this novel. I really like all the parts where there isn't any interactions with other characters, but it should be that I like all parts of the story, not just a few.
Not here to lie, I picked this book up to read between my main novels. Looking for something a little slower paced to relax before bed. What I found was an absolute delight to read and a true gem. The grammar and punctuation doesn’t make me want to hurl myself over a bridge and I find the plot and character interaction flows quite naturally and pleasantly. Thanks for this wonderful piece of art you have brought to us author.
Was genuinely one of the most refreshing web novels I have read. It takes a great angle on the by now classic game system/alternate world genre. The clear respect and research that has gone into the detail necessary to portray the character as a crafts master is commendable. I have put this novel down multiple times but whenever I have felt like reading again this is always one of the first I pick back up. It saddens me to see that it's been stuck at chapter 788 for a while now and I hope to be able to follow Benjamin along the rest of his journey. I see a lot of reviews complain about the "pacing issues" of the book and while at times it might be a little stale it has to be understood that this is a novel that doves deeper than your average super OP mc that has a game system or whatever. Those that cannot appreciate the explanation of the crafting process of a major item that spans multiple chapters are simply not reading the right novel for them and that's okay. Keep up the amazing work and don't get discouraged! (If it means anything I have never left or felt the need to leave a comment or review on anything on the internet really but this deserves the necessary praise)
For many years I have checked this website for reviews and usually they are pretty accurate. But I have to say the positive reviews for this LN are so overrated I had to make an account for the first just to correct them. This thing was excruciating to read. The first 50 chapters are virtually word for word him doing the exact same thing 5 times over. Nothing happens, there is no conflict. The characters are bland and 1 dimensional. There is no story at all. It's literally a description of someone doing the same MMO daily quest. I got 100 chapters in under the premise all the reviews said it would get better. But it does not. There is nothing about this LN that is even remotely interesting.
I have passed this novel several times that I have seen over the last two years. Now I have decided to read it. I hope it is as good as the reviews. I will be commenting under this review once in a while to update new readers how the novel is. Rating this 3 stars for now. If the novel really suprises me then I don’t mind supporting the book just like RSSG, pocket dimension, infinite mana in the apocalypse and also my favourite system novel - The strongest system 😀
I do love this novel, even with it errors. It has a good attitude on everyone can change and become better. I love that it shows that your race, age, etc don't limit you. I am disappointed about the bit with Michael. I agree that he was overboard and wrong, but it seemed to reference his religion as the source. I am what you might call a Mormon (that is what Michael is refered to). I agree that we don't believe in drinking alcohol or coffee, but what Michael is over the top and not a good example of my religion.
