Chapter 2: Anna Lee vita(life)

"sometimes it's better to leave the broken glasses instead of getting hurt"

Anna Lee learned the meaning of these lines when she was only 13 years old. Her parents passed away in a car accident and her brother also got kidnapped the same day. it was a dark and cold night and the rain was pouring as if every drop is bringing a bad omen. it was a heavy thunderstorm it blacked out.

Anna lit the candle. She was all alone with her brother.The phone suddenly rang she raised to pick up the call and it was the news of her parents death. At that moment she lost her senses and rab barefooted down the alley all the way to the death site. She even forgot her younger brother at home. She still repents herself for making such a mistake because this was the day her brother got kidnapped. Anna was all numb. It was freezing cold outside but she wasn't feeling anything due to the trauma. Her neighbours was calling her but all she could hear was her fast heartbeat and the news of her parents death echoing in her mind.

After watching her parents she felt as if they were lying on the cold deathbed. That scene is as fresh in her mind as it was 6 years ago. But now life is not as hard for her as she works in a cafe.
