7 Good News!

"Oh, Irene!" Rossi ran towards Irene as soon as she entered the room, her heart sinking as she saw her blankly staring outside the window while her arms were crossed. Irene is more than surprised to see Rossi visit her early in the morning as she was used to her coming during the afternoon.

Irene winced in pain when Rossi embraced her tightly. It was not so long after she encountered such devilish acts by Void so her body still remembers the pain inflicted upon her.

Rossi moved away from her and wiped a bead of tear running down her cheeks. She has been crying more than necessary during the time that she met Irene.

"I am so sorry, Irene. You did not have to go through all of that cruel interrogation," Rossi apologized, her eyes welling up with abundant tears and miniscule veins turning red.

Shaking her head, Irene replied. "It was all my fault, Rossi. If I only listened to your warnings, I would not have caused so much trouble to you and your brother. You guys have done so much for me and here I am putting you into more trouble. I'm really sorry," Irene looked down on the floor and started to fidget her fingers.

Rossi exhaled deeply, "There's no point in blaming you for something that has been done. Irene, Amiel had to come up with an excuse for Void and his men to stop pestering you. I hope you wouldn't mind," Rossi opened the doors leading to the balcony and sat there. The spot offers a panoramic view of Rosemoor. Irene followed behind and sat beside her.

"What did he tell them?" Irene asked, her hands fixed on each side while being lost in the view in front of her. 'How good would it be if I brought my camera with me,' She thought to herself.

Rossi smiled awkwardly, "That you two are engaged. He sort of actually made up a believable story, that you are a servant and that your gift is patience." She avoided Irene's surprised face.

Her jaw drops "Wow." Irene closed her mouth and acted casually in order to not make Rossi feel bad. In this situation, Irene thought she was not in the right place to even adversely react. These supernatural people saved her from the brink of death!

Motioning her hand on a lifeless plant on a pot, glitter dusts come out of her hand. Irene witnessed a sort of fast-forwarded process and time of budding and unfolding of blossoms from the now thriving plant.

In awe, Irene clapped her hands at the sight of Rossi helping a plant back to life. She said, "If you Rosemoors lived in our world, you would be very helpful. Our world out there is dying, Rossi." Irene hung her head low and spat a painful truth about the world she comes from.

Rossi gasped and almost dropped the clay pot she was holding, "You can't be serious, Irene." The vision of a damned and chaotic world frightened the heck out of Rossi.

-

Rossi's face brightened as she remembered that she had something to tell Irene, "I have great news for you!" She informed Irene animatedly. Rossi put a palm on her forehead, "I can't believe I forgot to tell you this when it was the primary reason I got here so early in the first place."

"What is it?" Irene shifts in her seat. As if out of reflex, her heart starts pumping quicker.

Holding Irene's hand, Rossi smiled and replied. "You will be brought back to your world tomorrow, Irene." In a calm tone and hugged her briefly.

Irene's mouth formed into a huge 'O' and she then covered it with her palms. Tears are prickling on the corner of her eyes and finally, a batch of warm and salty tears run down her porcelain cheeks.

"Thank you so much, Rossi! It is a frightening world out there but I still have to return. I have to find out who is the mastermind of having me kidnapped and almost killed. I need to know and have them pay for what they have done," Irene covered her face while sobbing. Her entire body shuddered realizing how twisted her life has become once again.

Little did they know, Amiel is listening to their conversation from inside the room. He was about to leave the moment he saw there was no one around the room but decided to stay when he saw Rossi and Irene on the balcony. After witnessing Irene cry so hard, he left. Amiel could not stand the foreign feeling like his heart being wrung. The least thing he wants in this world is to develop affection for a mortal.

"You'll get the justice you deserve, Irene. You will." Rossi patted Irene's shoulders and looked away, her tear ducts immediately producing tears every time she saw someone crying. Rossi added, "Since it is your last day here, why don't we go on a tour?"

Irene's face lit up but it is still evident that she cried. Her nose, eyes, and cheeks are flushed from the weeping she did earlier.

-

"Are you sure we can do this?" Irene linked her arms with Rossi's arms, afraid that she might run into Void and hurt her once again. Aside from the memory of being choked by Void, Irene no longer has memories of what happened after that.

Rossi smirked at her, "Of course, we can! You are Amiel's fiancee after all," She bursted laughing until tears formed in the corner of her eyes.

"You are really mean," Irene playfully hit her arm while they walked outside the palace. There are no servants following them around but Irene could clearly feel that people are staring at her. No, more like scrutinizing her from head to the pinkies of her foot.

Irene added, "You know what, I am really famous in our world so I am quite used to all the stares I am getting right now." She spoke while laughing

The two were stopped on their tracks when a voluptuous woman popped out of nowhere in front of them.

"Oh my gosh, I almost died thrice!" Irene squealed while breathing heavily and placing her palm on her chest.

The woman raised her eyebrows at her, "So, you are Amiel's fiancee?" She asked, intentionally annoying Irene by sweeping her eyes from her head to foot and then scoffing.
