6. the shadow that was seen

The blood from Thor crashed down in a tidal wave of a red sea. The blood that left Thor turned to ash as Thor stood up he smirked as he saw in his vision an odd looking tree.

It was made of silver, how odd. The tree felt and looked cold as an ice tree then saw some others in the distance but he had to focus on the challenge ahead of him, the doom walker.

The creature's skin was melting off as smoke came off of its steam burning to the ground Thor held Mjölnir tightly. Thor slams Mjölnir into the doom walker blasting a hole into it. The doom walker stood tall as the skin started to repair itself.

Thor sighs as this match is becoming a solid stalemate but Thor had a solid idea now at this point since these dread walkers and doom walkers live based on Mana.

But before Thor can do anything he is grabbed by the doom walker the undead creature holds Thor with one can choking him the doom walker slams Thor into the ground bashing open holes it pounds on Thor's face hit after hit.

Thor then creates a burst of lightning to slam into the doom walker as Thor holds out Mjölnir slamming it again and again into the doom walker hit after hit as the doom walker is struggling to move Thor is starting to channel a unique spell out of Mjölnir that took a lot of Mana out of him.

The doom walker tried to move but it could not. Something was off with it, the ground stopped it not the ground but its own shadow it was being held back by its shadow, it looked and saw Bryn in a tree he must have just joined the fight to help Thor. Bryn held the Doom walker down as long as he could with the darkness he used he focused up as Thor was ready to release the spell.

The lightning came down and blasted into the doom walker as Thor held out his palm.

"MANA DRAIN BURST OF lightning!" Thor yelled as the lightning broke and started to make the doom walker fall to the ground the doom walker's body started to turn to ash.

The doom walker stands as it looks to Thor. Its energy was gone as it melted into ash; it was nothing but a memory now.

"Good job coming in like that. It was a help. I'm surprised you even knew about me fighting this thing" Thor said as he coughed out a large amount of blood.

"I overheard a crackle of your lightning, and are you ok Thor" Bryn said as he jumped down from the tree.

"I'm fine the damn thing was able to hit me hard enough to do some damage but my body was able to heal over it" Thor said

Bryn would sigh as he hoped Lisa was ok with him leaving like he did, he felt bad but Thor needed his help and he's glad he came when he did.

"Oh we should hurry i think there some others in here"

Thor said as Bryn nodded and they took off to help.

But what was Bryn was doing he was enjoying his little time he had off he had met with the king before hand to talk about a few things

King Henry Regina waited for Bryn as he sat on his throne.

"Ah Bryn, my boy come in, I want to talk" Henry said as he stood up.

"Yes my king, what is it?" Bryn said as he lowered his head.

"Ah it simple really, i want you to marry Lisa" Henry said

Bryn was surprised and shocked by what the king said but he cleared his throat and nodded.

"Let me explain i know Lisa loves you alot and see that you truly care about her my boy, but i notice your uneasiness your unsure if she loves you back, but i know she does my boy, but think before you do, you should tell her how you feel i want you to join the spell casters guild fully and become a true mage, and even join a squad" King Henry said as he smiles

Bryn sighs and looks away unsure how to feel.

"I do care about her, I even love her but what if I can't save her, what if I can't keep her safe…" Bryn said as he sighed and turned back to the king.

"Look i might not know how you feel but i can understand you… this is why you should join a mage squad… you can get even stronger, but i think you should let Lisa know how you feel, you both love eachother i can see it… please don't leave her in the dark" Henry said as he sat back down.

"Well you're right i've been avoiding joining one out of fear but i have to join one and i must let Lisa know how i feel" Bryn said as he shifted his weight and nodded.

"Here let me recharge your darkness with my moonlight magic" Henry said as he started to recharge Bryns magic and make him able to use his magic again.

"Thank you, my king now I should be off" Bryn said as Henry nodded and Bryn headed out to find Lisa but he stopped in his tracks as he remembered Henry was having a meeting with her or something today.

"Wait didn't you have business with Lisa today" Bryn said

"Well I did but well she was too busy with something else so we changed it for another day, i think she went to the outskirts of the kingdom" Henry said.

"Ah I see thanks again my king" Bryn said as he once again took off.

Lisa was at a village in the outskirts of the kingdom she had visited to help out there was an issue going on there and she wanted to figure out how to help.

"What's the issue here?" Lisa said as she looked around the room was made of silence. It was grim and dark like life itself left the village. They all had dark tired expressions on their faces as they turned to Lisa and looked away.

"Get away from here you rich bastard" one of the towns folk said

"Hey… i'm here to help i know you guys are in the outskirts but your still part of our kingdom" Lisa said as she gets closer and sees a little boy on the verge of dying

"He's got the death disease, surge hex… it's tragic but he's already gone" one of the other townsfolk said as he took off his hat that was blasted with dirt.

"Ah no let me try one thing Mana transfer, it could work albeit a tad bit risky" Lisa said as she placed her hand on the boy's cheek.

"Hey… we can't let you do that, it's too dangerous," another town folk said.

"I have to do this you guys are our back bone" Lisa said as she started to channel her magic her Mana would slightly transfer into the boy as she used another healing spell to brighten up the room.

A few minutes would pass as the dark energy that was over the boy would go away. He was healed and fine.

"Oh my you did it thank you" a towns folk said

Another starting cheering as Lisa nods and walks outside she sits down as she feels her mana is all used up for today.

The townsfolk were very much surprised that princess Lisa came to their small village just to help a sickly boy who meant nothing to her but she did it anyway.
