With the [Forbidden Box] now in Elliot's hands, he had to immediately report to the Patriarch. Elliot would probably end up using it, and its existence would immediately be made public once that happened.

They would have to prepare to secure Elliot and his Mystery Box as soon as the Games of Earth was over.

Although the Monkey Clan would be spared from a defensive war, they would still have to commit an enormous amount of resources to try and secure the Forbidden Box.

And without the legitimacy of it being theirs by having it physically stored in their vault.

Overall, it was a bad situation for the Monkey Clan.
