12 Capter 12: A Glimpse Of Spirit World

Shin's relentless investigation into the paranormal had brought him to the threshold of a profound discovery. Guided by the enigmatic symbol and his own spiritual abilities, he had ventured deep into the mysteries that shrouded the spirit realm.

he felt immense thirst for the knowledge but this thirst was only for things related to supernatural world and spirit realm, after researching for a bit he found something interesting, it was said that people from the ancient times could summon the souls of the dead and trap their soul in a body of another person,it was similar to a ghost possessing a human but the only difference was that it was forcibly done by third party.

But he never knew why these things started and ended, and now where are the records of this? he only found out about these by some random books he got from his basement, also the fact that a big basement was always in his house was somewhat strange, he had always been cautious when visiting the basement also he never told anyone about the basement except Emiya, their trust in each other could be said to be increasing day by day.

Disregarding these meager issues as Shin delved further into his research, he began to sense a shift in the air—a subtle change that hinted at the proximity of something otherworldly it was surreal he had never felt like this before, even the strange increase increase in paranormal activities didn't make him feel this way it was completely a new feeling for him. It was as if a veil between the physical world and the realm of spirits had grown thin, allowing glimpses of the ethereal to seep through. He still Disregarded these things and chose to learn more about this spirit realm but the more he researched about it the more this ethereal feeling increased as if the progress in his knowledge was breaking an invisible wall surrounded by mysteries.

One fateful night which was a full moon night something strange happened inside an abandoned building it was the same building that Shin and Emiya were investigating, while Shin and Emiya were exploring an old abandoned building—rumored to be a hotspot for supernatural activity—something extraordinary happened. As they stepped into a decaying room, time seemed to freeze everything stopped as if the concept of time never existed this made them vary and they were almost scared to death right now because you can imagine how it will feel like if you are with someone and time suddenly stops and you don'tnow how why or when it did, will you be able to ever escape from there? will you trapped there for eternity? things like these also crossed in their mind but they both remained, unfazed ready to face the unknow, and slowly the view of their surrounding changed the boundaries between the living and the spirit world blurred.

In the flickering moonlight, Shin caught sight of ethereal apparitions, wisps of translucent figures that danced and swirled around him. They emitted a soft, haunting glow, their presence both eerie and captivating. These beings looked like angels he immediately thought of the fact that even angels reign in a particular area in the spirit realm.

Emiya's voice trembled with awe. "Shin, do you see them? It's as if the spirits themselves have revealed their world to us."

Shin nodded, his eyes fixated on the ethereal display before him. "This is incredible, Emiya. It's like we've been granted a glimpse into their realm. The spirit world intertwines with our own more closely than we ever imagined. Also this feels like it isn't their first time inviting someone from the living realm to the spirit realm" ofcourse Shin didn't say the last line to Emiya he just muttered slowly.

As they observed the apparitions, Shin felt a profound connection to this ethereal realm. It was as if he had finally found his place, the peace he was longing for, a purpose intertwined with the spirits that sought his aid. The mysteries that had consumed him now seemed to align, their threads weaving together into a tapestry of destiny.

Emiya touched Shin's arm, her voice filled with wonder. "Shin, maybe you are someone who is fated to do something in this realm because I see no reason of you being dragged here by random souls for fun or for something bad because if they had ill intentions towards us we would have been dead long ago even before entering this building."

For someone who just saw the wonders of spirit realm she was exceptionally calm it was as if she had expected this?

A mixture of determination and a sense of responsibility washed over Shin. "You're right, Emiya. I can no longer deny my role in this intricate web of spirits and humanity. It's my duty to navigate these realms and bring harmony to both. Maybe we won'thave to suffer from paranormal activities ever again after these are fixed."

The momentary glimpse of the spirit world had ignited a flame within Shin, propelling him deeper into his purpose. He understood that his journey was not merely about solving cases or confronting malevolent entities; it was about forging a bond between the living and the dead, bringing closure and peace to those trapped in the ethereal realm.

As they left the abandoned building, the memory of the spirits' ethereal dance lingered in their minds. Shin and Emiya knew that they were on the cusp of a remarkable adventure, a journey that would push the boundaries of their understanding and test the limits of their courage.

With newfound determination and a connection to the spirit world, Shin and Emiya embarked on their next chapter, ready to face the secrets and enigmas that awaited them. Together, they would navigate the mysteries of the paranormal, unearthing the truths that lay hidden in both the corporeal and ethereal realms, and unraveling the intricate threads that bound their fates together.

Though one must know fate is the worst betrayer if you trust it too much you will be backstabbed by it, even though Shin trusted his fate he began trusting in it too much, perhaps it was for good or perhaps not no one knows for certain, but what was certain was that we will see what the future holds for Shin, Emiya and others.....
