1 Chapter1. Arora Lights.
With the blazing sound of rock music a young boy could be seen within a dark blue wall bedroom. He sat around a small 1 long computer desk filled with random object such as pictures pencils, books. He wore a black short with a dark blue shirt with monster illustration on the front.
As the music blaze he nodded his head as he span around in his rotating computer chair.
Lip singing the words of the song he suddenly stop up and moved his body dancing to the rhythm.
* Bang* Bang* Bang*
At the sudden banging at the door he open his eyes on confusion and walked toward the music box at the opposite side of the room. Turning of the device he looked at the door confused before heading straight toward it.
His eyes turn slightly as he gaze to the time on his laptop screen. Confirming that it was 3pm he ponder.
" Mom or Dad shouldn't be here yet. Orleen?" He mutter in confusion before he heard the loud banging on the door again.
Hissing his teeth he hurried his step and pulled open the door angrily.
What came into his view was a young girl around the age of 17 with long black hair and dark green eyes. She had olive brown skin and wore a simple dark blue sleeveless blouse with a Jean that stop below her knee.
" Brat. How many time does mom have to tell you, not to skip school." The girl said in an angry tone as she saw the door open.
Seeing who it was the young boy sigh and before he could finish hearing what she was saying slam the door closed and locked it from the inside.
Ignoring the yell of his older sister the young boy glance around at his bedroom shaking his head.
" Karlen. Karlen. Im telling mom you skip again!!" She yelled from outside the door but Karlen simply jump onto his bed and sigh.
" Stop yelling in the house" He ironically yell back before grabbing the Tv remote and turning on the small screen television within his room.
On the other side of the door Orleen groan in annoyance as she heard the sound of the television. After stamping her feet on the ground she groan before heading back down stairs.
" You and your brother have problems" A young girl voice echo through the living room area the moment she saw Orleen come down. She had bushy brown hair tired in a pig tail and similar color skin as Orleen. She had cute freckles on her face and wore a simple dark green short sleeve blouse with a Jean short.
" I have problems. It that brat. My parents spoil him too much" Orleen said upset as she threw her self into a living room sofa.
" If you say so. Well I heard the rebellious stage pass soon." The brown hair girl said sitting in a sofa opposite to Orleen.
" Rebellious?" Orleen hiss her teeth at that word before speaking.
" Just because the brat is smarter than his entire grade and the grade above he believes he doesn't have to go to school. When he doesn't I'm the one that his teacher look disapproving at" Orleen said in a high tone.
" Calm down girl. Anyway he still pass at the stop of his grade with out going to school so it not a big deal. Anyway.. You remember that party happening tonight" She said as she gave Orleen a grin.
" Nope, Nope, Nope!! You know my mom will kill me. Lisa" Orleen said before she got up and head to the kitchen. Getting up also Lisa followed her as she presume to convince Orleen.
" Come on everyone will be there. Plus didn't you tell me your parents won't be back until 11 tonight. They won't even be coming home before going to that dinner right so you have no excuses" Lisa continue with her debate but Orleen continue to shake her head until...
" Tony, will be there" Lisa said causing Orleen to stop in her track. With the fridge handle still in her right hand she stare hesitantly before closed mg the door.
" Okay I go but I need to be back by 10" Orleen said as she turn around to face Lisa.
" Yes. don't worry I'm driving." Lisa said as she led Orleen upstairs.
" First we need to get you some clothes before we head to my house." Lisa said.
" Wait. You remember that dark blue dress you got. Could i borrow it"Orleen stop at the foot at the steps as she recall something.
" That thing. I guess it fine. Okay my house" Lisa said with a frown before turning excited again.
She then held Orleen hand and drag her through the house out the front door.
Back upstairs Karlen could be seen at the top of the steps apparently hearing every word of his sister and Lisa. After pondering her smile as he tool out a 5 inch smart phone out of his pocket.
Unlocking the phone he enter a messing apps on went on to entering chat group call the flyers.

" Mr. Argot?" A soft feminine voice echo in the middle age man ears causing him to frown. Glancing at his watch the middle age man then took a peek at the woman behind him.
" What is it Penny. I already scheduled to leave the hospital early today" he said as he stood at the front door.
The receptionist stood slightly froze at the reception area as she ponder about the situation.
" Are you sure. Dr. Conner request me to tell you to see him at his office now though" Penny said as she stare at a piece of paper.
" Conner?" Mr. Argot mutter with a frown. Glancing back at his watch he sigh and went toward the reception counter.
" Could you keep this for me?" He asked while passing the suitcase in his hand. Nodding, penny received the suitcase over the counter before watching Mr. Argot walk briskly to the elevator door.
After traveling several floor upward he came off the elevator at the fifth floor and walk directly toward the end of the hall.
Stopping at a door that say ' Head of Surgery Department' He frown and open the door.
Glancing around he spotted a middle age man with dark blonde hair and white skin. He had blue eyes and wore simple dress white shirt.
" What do you want Peter, I'm kinda busy" Mr. Argot said slight upset. His brows cease as he thought he was going to be late.
" Okay Okay I won't be long. Anyway Nick. You remember Lorena Labs that requested some of our best surgeon a month ago." Peter said calmly as he flip through a thick document.
" Yeah what about them" Nick asked.
" Hmm. They have been at the lab for a month now and it time for them to come back. I'm not getting through to the lab today so I want you to check it out for me. Just give me a call and the go about your business" Peter said.
Nick frown but knew it wasn't exactly a request but a order. He hated how Peter always drop his responsibility onto him. He was the one who agree to lend those surgeon to the lab but he want him to check up on them.
Sighing to himself Nick turn around and quickly left the office. He took out his phone and texted to a Id ' Honey.'

After seeing that the text was sent he place the phone back into his pocket and waiter until the elevator brought him back to the ground floor. He then got his briefcase from penny and left the hospital.
Ignoring several people entering into the ER he went straight toward the parking lot and enter a crisp black BMW. Throwing his briefcase at the back seat he close the door and started the engine. In a matter of second her was zooming out of the Hospital Parking Lot.
- 5:00pm-
Northina Firm.
*Hiss*
"What is it Maria?" a middle age woman asked as she packed up several document.
" It nothing Barb. Loss my temper a bit. Nick said he would be a late" Maria mutter with a frown.
Barb rose a eyebrow at her friend before she chuckle.
" Just take it easy. If i remember he is the deputy of his department right. Something must have come up. Atleast he didn't cancel" Barb said.
Maria shook her head before placing several brown folder within the file cabinet of her office. After sighing she glance at the window. A perfect view of downtown Lorena.
" Yeah, you might be right. Anyway how the kids." Maria said deciding to have a small discussion with her secretary.
Barb smile before sitting within Maria client seat. She lean her body back as she ponder.
" I really should be asking you that. I heard Karlen skip school again." Barb said.
Maria sigh before taking a seat her self.
" I know but the thing is. A child go to school to learn, socialize etc right. Karlen is a bit different. You already know he smart for his age to the part that his elder sister work is easy for him. He a smart kid. The socializing part now. Well he has some friends" Maria said.
" Yeah, the same with my Marcos. Well he Karlen friend too anyway" Barb said.

* Bang* With the loud swing of the front door Karlen frown as he look at the people at the front door.
" Dudes why are so late. It seven?" Karlen said before he left the door open.
Turning around he walked back inside the living room where several bowls of snacks could be seen on the main table.
A game station with for Control was connecting to the living room flat screen TV and two 2litre could be seen on the floor surrounded by plastic cups.
" It kinda hard to get out our house on such a late notice" A young voice rang out as he enter the living room. His gaze scan the room but didn't seem surpise by the snacks or the other preparation.
The boy was of similar age to Karlen, 14 to be exact. He had short dark brown hair and hazel color eyes with olive brown skin. He wore a normal black Jean with a dark grey shirt.
Behind the boy was two other person of similar age. A girl with bright red hair and dark blue eyes where a casual Jean and brown short. Her hand could be seen holding the other boy.
He had dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. He wore a black pants and dark green sweat shirt.
" Yeah. You texted us at 5 saying you have the house to yourself. It a miracle we tool 2 hours " The red head said as she sat on one of the sofa. The dark short boy sat beside her.
Karlen face cringe when he saw the too and said.
" I understand. But i will say this now. If you guys want to make out with each other get out" Karlen firmly said looking at the lovely couple.
" Jealous?" The red head smirk slightly but Karlen ignore her as he set up the game station.
" Karlen why don't we go to the party at Jane house?"the dark hair boy on the opposite seat to the couple spoke.
" Where you invited Jamie?" Karlen asked as he sat on the soft chair directly opposite to the tv and perpendicular to the two sofa. The table was in the middle of the four filled with snacks and the other three game control.
Hearing Karlen Jamie simply shook his head being truthful.
" Then there is a good chance going will not end up well?" Karlen said as he started the game. Seeing this the other three seemingly anxious grab a controller before leaning back in the sofa.
" Yeah so what. Your sis.." Jamie
" My sister is popular" Karlen interrupted Jamie as his finger began to move hectic on the controller.
" Plus I bet you hanging out with friends is alot more better than going to a party" Karlen continue.
" If so stop skipping school" the boy beside the red head said.
" Yeah,Yeah, Charlie, I will stop when my mom stop thinking of making me skip grades." Karlen said as he role his eyes.
Charlie heard this and groan as a remainder that he was speaking to the top of their grade slam in his head.
His made a weird smile before he sigh and curse under his breath.
" Damn't you kill me on purpose?" Charlie said as he saw his avatar in the game got shot in the head.
" Becky you have to revenge me" Charlie continue as he lean on the red hair beside him.
Hissing her teeth her eyes were glued to the screen. Many watching the scene would think these were wasteful people and should be studying or doing something more productive. Well there two things they might be unaware of. After Karlen these three were the brightest in their grade and also excellent in a field.
Jamie was surprisingly a good basically player, Becky is on the cheerleading squad and Charlie is the best artist in the school.
As the group continue to play guns game something strange could be seen within the sky.
" Ah man. Karlen tell me this for real. All the time you skip school it just to pratice video games isn't it?" Charlie said as he place down the controller in his hand. The snacks bowls where empty and the soda was more than half way there.
" Shit guys it late. About 11" Becky said as she jumped up.
" Sorry for leaving the mess with you. I will make it up to you" Becky said before bolting out of the house.
" Hey wait up" Jamie and Charlie yelled in sync as they dash toward the front door.
Karlen face twitch before he shook his head. He had already document it in his mind how to milk this favour from them.
Looking at the scatter scene infront of him he sigh and stood up. Suddenly he frown. He didn't her the door close.
Looking toward the front door he exit the living room only to see the group pause at door.
Surpise and confused Karlen walk up toward group and that was when his eyes caught the night sky.
It wasn't pitch black with countless white dots like the usual. This sky didn't even have the moon. No the sky was a mixture of several range of color or lights. An Arora of light that reflected in all of Lorena citizen vision today.
