Chapter 36 - Strange

After their sweet honeymoon, Christopher took Leslie back to the Loomis family.

Christopher confessed all his mistakes to his family.

"Leslie, I am so sorry. For the past three years, I thought we would break up soon. That's why I didn't take you back to Loomis Residence."

Leslie saw his reaction and felt funny about that.

"Well, I have forgiven you. But please remember to transfer five percent of the Loomis shares to me."

She smiled and continued to make up the dresser.

Christopher stood behind her and kissed her face softly.

"My wife is the most beautiful lady in the world."

In the mirror, her eyes were clear as previous.

He knew that his heart was too small to fit in with each other. Several times at night, he would dream of the scene when she left.

So although Christopher slept with her every night, he still suffered daily.

He was afraid that his life would be nothing more than a dream. She would disappear from his life when he woke up.
