1 Start of a journey
"Adrian! Dinner is ready, please come and eat!" You could hear a woman yell in the middle of an orphanage. The orphanage was a big plain looking building, that has been neglected for a while. It was in the middle of a small forest, and the outskirts of a small town named Coningsby.
"Yes yes, on my way mother Ilene" Answered a young boy of 15-16 years of age. He was a handsome young boy, with long black hair, sharp eyebrows, small nose and ocean blue eyes. he had a height of around 175, with a normal build, he was neither muscular, nor too skinny.
The boy ran from the small courtyard of the orphanage, into the dinner room, to get the food he was served. The dinner room was massive, it was probably the biggest room in the whole orphanage.
But no wonder really, there was a lot of children in the orphanage, so many that Adrian didn't really know the exact number. Honestly he didn't really care either, none of them really wanted to talk with him, so he didn't really bother with them.
He only had one friend, his name was Joby. He had quite an average look, the only eye catching thing about him was, that he was 185 cm tall, with quite a muscular build. Keep in mind that he was only a 15 years old boy.
"Did you train again Adrian? Any new stats?" Asked Joby with an excited look.
"yeah I did, with a little success!" Adrian answered.
In this world, there was a kind of magic, that every baby was born with, where they could check their body's stats, and what kind of skills and titles they have acquired. Adrian took a look at his stats, and showed them to Joby.

Joby looked at the stats, and saw that the stat agility had actually gone up by two, while he had gotten the skill 'Basic spearmanship', which in turn, also gave him the class 'Novice spearman'. Joby obviously knew that Adrian had been going for this for years, and he was very happy that he finally got the class he wanted.
"Congrats Adrian, you finally got your class! HAHA"
Adrian also knew how happy Joby was for him, so he gave him a big smile and said.
"HAHA thanks Joby, but i have got nothing on you, you got your class a year ago, and all your stats are higher than mine!"

At this moment, when Joby and Adrian was looking at each others stats, and older man, with white hair, and a big white beard came in. He was the elder of the orphanage, and he was the one making decisions, his name is Ingolf.
"Adrian, Joby, I need to talk to you two, my boys" He said into the room. Adrian and Joby gave each other knowing glances, like they knew exactly why they were called by Ingolf. The three guys, then went into a silent room, that was right beside the eating hall. It was quite a boring room, there were only a few pictures hanging on the wall, and a desk with a chair in the middle where Ingolf sat down.
"I am guessing you know why i called you in here right" ingolf started up the conversation, and both Adrian and Joby looked straight and him, with excited looks. They knew, it was because they both had turned 15, and they need to choose what they want to do with their life.
"You have both turned 15, so, what are your plans? You need to earn your own living from now on" He smiled while talking. He was actually really proud of these two boys, he knew they were the most hard working boys in the orphanage.
"I want to go adventure and explore the world"
"I want to be a warrior in the army"
They answered at the same time, with different answers. Adrian wished to go on an adventure, while Joby wished to join the army, to fight on the frontlines. The to boys looked at each other and smiled, they respected each others decisions.
"Then Adrian, I would recommend for you to go to our neighboring city Emall, they have an adventuring guild, while you Joby, should go down into our city, the army is recruiting a week from now" Ingolf said.
Both the boys looked at him, and thought that he really did some research for them. They both thanked him with a bow, and walked towards their rooms, so that they could pack their things, and get ready for their journey.
