49 Mission Impossible: Spear Boy Protocol

(Cao Cao POV)

She was nice.

Well, at least she didn't try to kill me. You know, it's kind of sad how, at this point, my standards have become so low that someone not trying to kill me makes them nice. It really does put into perspective how shitty it is having a sacred gear in this world, as even normal Longinus users probably don't even make it past their teenage years.

I imagine the advancement of technology hasn't made hiding sacred gear even easier other than maybe that sacred gear related to technology that I believe was called an unknown dictator. How was that sacred gear made? Because these things were made around the 14 to 1500s or even earlier than that.

Well, it has been theorized that God was able to see the future. Maybe he/she saw a future of advanced technology and decided to make a sacred gear that could be used in later years. There is so much to investigate, but I have the time to do it, and clones definitely help. Right now, I have clones researching all the systems of magic I have back in the Land Of Shadows.

In terms of martial arts, I also had hundreds of clones training against each other to get those skills up, and Renewal Taekwondo definitely made things so much better. Surprisingly enough, the Taekwondo Arts are very much compatible with the whirlwind fist and fist of flowing Rock along with the arts of Might Guy from Naruto.

I'm in no rush to try to use the Gate of Death just yet, though.

I am still a firm believer that the fight should have ended there, and instead of Madara recovering, he would be on the ground. Then, Zetsu, seeing Madara's state, would use the opportunity to strike. Instead, the strongest being in the Naruto Universe at that time was shanked in the back; a person whose entire life was lived, not trusting anyone, was betrayed at a critical moment and in perfect health, if a bit damaged.

The very thought of how Kaguya was introduced brings me a large amount of fanboy rage. Still, who knows, maybe after all of this, I can go to the Naruto universe and take the ten tails for myself and maybe inform Naruto and Sasuke about how terrible of a father they are.

But I am going on a bit of a tangent now, and seeing that I was now floating above the base that guy had in his memories, I decided to take a more stealth-like approach this time.

In fact, I summon five of myself and use mana crafting to form certain outfits. While my clones did the same, we also changed our faces and voices, and as we stared at ourselves, we all smiled and disappeared from view.

(Third Person POV)

Three guards were stationed outside of a base owned by the Utsusemi Agency, all of whom were incredibly alert as their forward forces managed to capture the witch sent by the Grigori, who had not returned, so they were on high alert.

In fact, the base itself is being prepped to be moved by the next morning, but what they do not see are five men stationed on lampposts with the moonlight shining behind them.

Yet as one felt like he was being stared at, he looked over and saw nothing. He told himself it was probably his paranoia, as the wards had not gone off yet, so there couldn't be any possibility of intruders. And the men sent to capture her had magical bombs installed in their heads meant to explode if they said anything bout the organization. So, no one could know where they were.

As the man then took a breath, he looked to his side and saw the two other men guarding the front door, who were still there. He sighed in relief, yet as he then turned his head the opposite way, one of the men he looked away from was wrapped in a rope before he was then taken upwards as the other was snuck up on, and a blade pierced his throat and he was pulled into the shadows.

Yet the last one was utterly unaware of what just happened, but as he could no longer hear the men behind him, he turned around and saw the man hanging by the neck with a rope attached to the awning they were under. Yet before he could scream, he found himself falling asleep with his mouth covered by a human hand before he then felt his neck get pierced by something, and he knew nothing.

The five men then nodded to each other and entered the facility by climbing the walls and jumping across the rooftops with the grace of an eagle and the speed of a father gone out to get the milk.

As all of them then met at a central building, they looked through the windows on the roof to see men and women moving about quickly as they gathered papers and various things around them.

As one of the disguised Cao Cao snapped his fingers, the wards were now there, and then after another snap, the building's electricity was cut as all of the disguised men jumped into the building.

When the lights went out, many began firing off spells and various curses randomly as the five men slipped and dodged their way through the room, but not before firing off anti magic smoke bombs that made magic sensing nearly impossible. And soon enough, the room that was once filled with over a dozen people was reduced to barely two men.

So as the smoke cleared, the last two, who I decided to stand back to back, were shaking in utter and complete fear, with one shouting out, "I see them!" And what he saw were five men dressed in flowing robes walking straight for them.

After the man yelled this, the man standing at his back immediately came to his side, and they both began firing off spells with fire, stones, air blades, water blasts, and other spells.

But to their fear, every spell they launched simply went through all of them, with two of the five men then rushing them both and piercing them through the chests at high speeds before slamming their bodies to the floor. As they then retrieved their blades, they all nodded to each other before splitting up to head to various parts of the facility.

While the captured people were still missing, they may have just found some information somewhere in this building. So, after splitting up, the one in red and white robes began walking towards the central office area.

But not before leaving a certain symbol emblazoned on the ceiling of the room they were just in.

(Cao Cao POV)

You know, I can agree with Shadow on one thing: LARPing is so much fun. In fact, I haven't had so much fun since I got here. But before I could feel even better, I heard Cato say in my mind.

(Cao Cao While I do not know this reference you are enjoying, you probably should focus on finding information in relation to the missing people.) I then sigh and head over to the leader's office while Celestine simply retorts.

(Come on, Cato, let the kid have his fun. In fact, this is probably the most positive emotion I've felt from him since he unlocked the gear. And after all of his training and all of the pain, he deserves some fun. But where exactly did the design for those outfits come from?)

"That is for me to know and for you all to find out later ." I think to myself as Cato sighs in exasperation and Celestine pouts, but hey, who can fault the Assassin's Creed outfits? But enough distraction.

So, as I am about to enter the leader's office, I then use my All Seeing Eyes to look inside first before activating my concealment. It appears that I have found Hanezu Himejima.

So, as I knock on the door, he answers gruffly, "Who's there?! No matter, come in!" I then came in, and as he was turned around, he asked, "So what is it?"

I then hid my true voice and, using my life return, I changed my vocal cords and magic signature and looked to impersonate the guy who was trying to capture Lavinia Reni. "Lord Himejima, we were unable to capture the foreign witch, but we were able to get away. I lost a decent number of men to her ice magic."

Hanezu then turns around, and while he seems angry, he holds it in and says, "It is understandable she does wield a Longinus after all. We are going to be abandoning the base. Sadly, the children we captured are not reacting just yet and have yet to activate their sacred gears. Have the others already left?" I nod, and he then exits the office, but I have already copied down all the sheets of paper to memory.

"Follow me, and maybe I can find some use for you." I then bowed and began to follow him through the teleportation gate he summoned using what looked like an array of European descent.

Positively laughing insanely on the inside, I follow him through the portal and find myself within a large facility that seems reminiscent of a lab combined with a place of worship. As Hanezu bids me to follow him, I summon clones to scour the base, looking for the captured people and students.

"Tell me, Toshiro, what did you make of the witch?" Hanezu asks as we make our way to some other room.

"While her Sacred Gear is powerful, she lacks control, and from how she uses it, it appears she's almost afraid to use it. It is scarcely noticeable, but it is there, although when pushed into a corner, she blasted us with blizzards of ice, forcing us to retreat." Hanezu scoffs as he pushes open another door, and I see multiple tables filled with various research notes.

"Satanael! I require your presence." As he says this, I immediately lower my sacred gear signature completely as the fallen appears before us, looking absolutely ragged.

With deep eye bags under his eyes, he asks the man in a highly annoyed tone, "What do you want, Himejima? I was so close to finding the spear user." This brings Hanezu's attention as he then asks.

"Is he in Japan? If he was, why was I not informed of this?" As he asks this, Satanael immediately increases his power and places pressure on Hanezu while I play pretend and use my life return to mimic fear and pressure on my form.

"Be silent. You ill-informed worm! His signature has been bouncing all around the world, and trying to track him down is nearly impossible! It's as if he can be in multiple places at once! It's so frustrating yet so..so amazing! The possibilities of this are numerous. If his sacred gear has evolved somehow, it could lead to great things!" His ramblings have become almost incoherent as Hanezu and I stand back up.

Hanezu and I waited for him to finish, and after talking to himself for over five minutes, my clones were able to find the missing people and began to replace them with empty models. My clones are quite literally using henshin on wood dolls to replace them.

So, I just need to keep this up for a few more minutes. As long as nothing goes wrong, I won't have to blow up anyone's day, at least not yet.

To be honest, it feels like I'm cosplaying an assassin and Ethan Hunt, and as I wait for Hanezu to get Satanael's attention, someone new arrives to make their presence known as Walburga and Augusta have made themselves known.

As I try to keep my spear from reacting to the Incinerate Anthem that Walburga has, the two then interrupt, with Augusta simply using a spell to produce a loud noise.

"If you two are done, what is the process for locating the four fiends?" Walburga, as Augusta is asking Hanezu this question, looks up to me and begins eyeing me up and down.

Before anyone else can say anything, a man bursts through the door and yells out, "Himejima-sama, the base you were in has been destroyed, and no one has returned from there!"

As Hanezu's eyes widened, he looked at me as I smirked and said, "Well, it was fun playing this little game, but now it's my turn."

I then summon my spear as all hell breaks loose.
