2 Chapter 2 - Reasons to chat

Such a drastic change in my usual pastime was somewhat disturbing... well, very much so. Yet the realization that there are gods in the world, beings stronger than even gods, aliens, and different worlds, quickly drives me into some awe and feelings of insignificance in front of all this. Moreover, for me, not much conscious time has passed since I recently communicated with one of these beings. If it wasn't for my memory, I might have thought that I was just drugged because everything sounded like nonsense... but the knowledge of possible future events, the names of heroes and worlds that they don't even have a clue about here, say the opposite.

"Tony, aren't you going to be late for the lecture?" a beautiful girl who is very familiar to me asked with excitement, worrying about me... who was still my sister.

"I'll take the day off today. I've got everything turned in and no delays, so the day won't kill me." I waved my hand, continuing to prepare breakfast.

"The main thing is not to get used to this." Lena smiled a little.

"How can I, because I'm an excellent student." I said proudly, turning to face the girl and raising my hand in which there was a kitchen spatula.

"Ha-ha." she covered her mouth with her hand, barely suppressing laughter. "Tony, are you in a good mood today, has something happened?" as I said, she's more than smart.

"Just a good mood." I shrugged my shoulders. " You seem to need to study too."

" I don't have to be there." she said, but I saw how she squinted at her feet.

"Maybe you need to make friends?," I said, turning the pancake over.

"Friends ... I have friends" the sister said a little uncertainly. "I haven't seen you with friends either." she returned my words.

"I have you." I said easily and the kitchen became abruptly quiet. The girl just smiled a little bitterly, hoping that I wouldn't see it, patted my leg, and rolled to her bedroom. I picked up a pancake and put it on a nearby plate with a small stack of pancakes.

I am in a world where there are magic, gods, and everything else, which means that sooner or later I will be able to find a cure for my sister. It's not even up for discussion, my emotions for her are natural, and I really have feelings for her, so I won't leave her as Lex did to us.

I remember how some guy from the University approached her about a year ago, not even paying attention to the fact that she couldn't walk, but I was able to "talk" with him ... this was Anthony's first fight in which he got a bit beating, although that guy also didn't come out victorious.

While I was making pancakes, I finally noticed a flashing symbol in the corner of my field of vision, as soon as I thought about it, an inscription appeared in front of me.

"The Universal Gacha is activated"

An inscription appeared in front of me as if someone was standing behind me with a projector.

"The rules of the Universal Gacha..."

Next was a list of rules and how this Gacha works. It can be considered an SSS class system and with its help, you can get a lot: people, abilities, skills, objects, other creatures, and so on, objects that change appearance, character, and so on. Moreover, besides just summoning people, I can still assimilate... that is, take away their abilities, useful knowledge, skills, and so on without memory and without changing my personality.

All these cards are stored in the Gacha Inventory. Every day I get one Gacha point, and to "scroll" gacha I need five points, thereby I can get a card of something. You can also buy a maximum of one hundred gacha points at the beginning of each month and the starting price is a dollar for one point. You can buy ten scroll options at once Gacha for fifty points and thereby get an increased chance that a card will fall above my strength level. The very first use of Gacha is given with a huge bonus on the subject, so to speak in honor of the beginning. This is the most important thing I realized after reading.

All items are divided into different ranks: E garbage or just something ordinary, D items capable of destroying/changing/ equivalent value/rarity building, C Quarters, B Cities, A Continents, S Planets, SS huge planets/stars/Galaxy, SSS Universes. Moreover, items can have a strong variation in strength depending on who uses them.

After having breakfast with Lena, I went to my bedroom to delve into this Gacha. After all, she still provides me with my characteristics:

Name: Anthony Joseph Luthor

Race: Human

Title: The villain's brother

Total Power: 10-B (The strength of an ordinary person capable of lifting twice his weight at most)

Assimilated Characters:

Abilities:

Gacha Points: 1

Quite expected... even the title is quite understandable. I can scroll Gacha once with a huge bonus for the very first scroll, but it is better to increase this bonus by scrolling ten times at once. So I took out a hundred dollars from my wallet and bought a hundred Gacha Points, as a result, I had 101 of them.

"Why do I feel so weird doing all this?" I asked aloud. Realizing what kind of world I live in and how many dangers there are makes me try to become stronger faster. Yes, in the same Gotham, all sorts of gang squabbles occur weekly, and here in Metropolis, aliens may even appear for the soul of one man in a blue-red suit.

An ordinary person is quite capable of being an important link, I'm talking about Batman, but in addition to being a genius, he also ... may have an artifact called "Story Armor". I mean, no one ever shot him in the open chin, and no one ever guessed who was behind the mask, although Batman himself appeared when Bruce Wayne "returned". Anthony heard it all on the news, but just didn't pay attention… but, it would seem, everything is obvious.

Having discarded such thoughts and calmed the jitters, now I can theoretically get something very useful ... which I hope for, to be honest. I can "spin" the Gacha twenty times, and I can choose any kind of Gacha. From just a screen with a button, which is preferable to me, to a lottery bag and so on. Resigned to the inevitable, I mentally clicked on "Twist".

"Okay, and what did I get ..." I swallowed, looking at the flashing screen, and decided to immediately spin ten times, leaving 51 more points in reserve, that is, ten more opportunities to scroll.

Spatial Group Chat System (SSS)

Magic Wand (D)

The Age-Old Experience Of A Masochist (D)

Hestia's Panties (C)

Intimate Vaseline (E)

T-shirt (E)

A Tuft Of Evil Cerberus Fur (D)

Cash: $50,000 (E)

Felt-tip pen (E)

Glasses (E)

As soon as my eyes saw the first object, my breath was somewhat choked with excitement. The very first subject is the SSS class, that is, the universal level and higher. But the name of the subject confused me.

"Group chat?" I asked out loud and immediately found the SSS rank card in Gacha inventory for cards. The golden card with burning stars on the cover looked more than pretty and it read:

The "Group Chat System" is a spatial system through the universes of group chat capable of connecting people from anywhere in the universe, metaverse and multiverse.

The map read and I already imagined what it was, because I had read a lot of stories ... but Gacha and Chat together? To be honest, I was hoping for some forces that could help me... but I got an ointment for hemorrhoids and a chat group. However, the latter is probably useful, for example, to get out of this universe and never come back here, in extreme cases. Cash will also be useful, by the way, and what about a wand…

A 'magic wand' is an instrument of every wizard, with the help of which a spell pronounced aloud or to himself, accompanied by a certain movement of the wand, gives the desired result. (Magic power required)

At the moment, a rather useless thing for me, with which you can only wipe yourself or poke someone in the eye. But I chose the wand card to check, and it literally materialized in my hand.

"Smooth... ahem... Stupefy?" I said, pointing the end of the wand at the wall, and of course, nothing happened, I don't have any magical energy, sort of. Wishing to remove the wand, it disappeared from my hand again and became a card in Gacha inventory. And this time I chose the chat card and…

"You Have Been Selected As The Administrator Of The Spatial Group Chat"

"As an Administrator, you will have privileges"

Daily accrual of hundreds of chat points

The ability to invite participants (this option is not immediately available)

The ability to restrict access to the chat to participants at your request (prohibit sending messages, photos, audio, items ...)

Access to more complete information of missions and additional tasks, bonuses

Discounts in the Spatial Store

Ability to set some rules in the chat…

An inscription popped up, slightly different from the Gacha tablets. After blinking a couple of times, I saw a certain loading going on after these words and the sign reappeared, only this time there was not my characteristic, but the chat options currently available:

Spatial Store

Chat Points: 100

Group Chat

Missions/Tasks

Mail

Information

Having chosen the last option, namely "Information", I began to read into the attached data. In fact, everything is as I expected, a group chat connects people with a chat and gives all sorts of missions that can be completely abandoned. But for missions, Chat points will be awarded, for which you can buy ... everything. There are several types of B and A-rank Group Chats where the store has a lot of restrictions, but this chat has almost no restrictions. More precisely, it depends on the participants, because the store takes all the items from the worlds of the participants. In general, it is a useful currency. There is also a "Mail" here and it is needed to transfer items between participants.

After reading everything to the end, I gained some confidence in the future, because now I can quite survive in this world ... if you give me time. Over time, anyone can become very strong with this system, unless, of course, they have the intelligence of a bedside table. While there are no participants in the Chat and the first four participants are added automatically, that is, I cannot select them and this is random. To invite other participants of your choice, you need to perform some hidden tasks, which, of course, are not described.

"And if some unbalanced individual gets into the chat?" I asked aloud, not expecting an answer. However, if so, then I can block almost all chat features for such a person, yet I am an Administrator. When the recruitment of participants begins, the chat itself will give everyone a nickname, after which it will be possible to change it.

"Okay, let's get started ..." I mentally clicked on the Group Chat, and then on the "Search for Participants". In general, as I understand it, the Chat can be tied to a mobile device or just leave it as signs in front of your eyes.

"The search for participants has begun...10%... 34%...69%...100%"

A participant has been added to the Chat: "Unkempt Know-it-all"

A participant has been added to the Chat: "Exhibitionist"

A participant has been added to the Chat: "No Ambitious Shinoa"

A participant has been added to the Chat: "God's Tongue"

An administrator has been added to the Chat: "Brother of the supervillain genius"
