1 Prologue

In a bedroom decorated with a lot of bookshelves and an imposing gaming PC, there was Kay sleeping peacefully.

DING! DING!

"Is it day already?" asked Kay in a sleepy voice. Although he didn't feel like it he woke up and went to the kitchen to eat something before going to his new highschool.

"Mom, why are you here?" asked Kay surprised as he was not expecting his mother to be at home this late in the morning.

Kay's mom was a woman in her 40's and had and oval face, dark green eyes and long black hair.

"I've stayed home so I can give a proper goodbye before you go to your new highschool" said while making herself a sandwich with bacon.

"Is that for me?" said Kay while pointing towards a plate filled with his favorite type of pancakes.

"Yeah, I thought I should make you something you like before going to your new highschool. Anyway, it's already pretty late and I should be going now" said Jane, his mother, while grabbing the sandwich and leaving for work.

'I guess I should put something on and get going too' thought Kay while finishing his pancakes.

Kay got up from the table and went straight for his bedroom and grabbed a white t-shirt, black jeans, a black hoodie and to complete his outfit a pair of black sneakers.

'They would definitely think I'm emo' thought Kay with a sigh.

Suddenly before Kay vould get outside their apartment he heard a girl slamming the door and running outside of her bedroom.

'Did her alarm broke?' Kay wondered as he looked at his sister with a curious gaze. His sister didn't even notice him and as he didn't want to get nagged again by his sister, because of dressing in black, he quietly leaved the apartment.

After he left his apartment he went to the subway station where got on the line towards his new highschool. He got off the subway and was leaving the station when he bumped in a girl that suddenly stopped.

"Sorry!" Kay apologized.

"It's okay, it was my fault anyway!" said the girl while turning, she had an oval shaped face, deep green eyes and brown hair.

'Oh my god, she's stunning!' exclaimed Kay as he couldn't help but blush a bit.

"Are you from the Evergreen highschool?" she asked in an excited tone.

"Yeah.." he couldn't help but stare a bit at her big chest.

"Me too! Let's go together! " she said.

"Okay!" he replied rather happily as he was enjoying her company.

Evergreen highschool, 11:00

"Phew! Finally, first math hour of the year and the teacher went straight to teaching" said Kay's desk mate, which presented himself as Ryder.

"Well I think that's how he is" said Alice unhappily, the girl Kay bumped into.

"I think that's..."

Kay was suddenly interrupted by a quake which shook the entire building and formed small craks on the walls.

"Run outside!" Ryder shouted to everyone when he saw the cracks and realized the power of the quake which could destroy the building.

Everyone was running towards the door and unbeknownst to them a big crak was on the other part of the door. When the first student opened the door it was to late already as the ones behind him pushed him into it as they wanted to get outside faster. About 5 people fell in the crack, and that included Kay, Alice and Ryder.

Kay saw the crack before the others but sadly he couldn't do anything as he was pushed into it.

'That's how I die? Well I hoped I could live a bit longer' thought Kay while falling down in the crack.

'What's this?' wondered Kay as he fell down and instead of darkness saw light, a yellowish light that gave off a strange sensation of divine.

The light started to envelop everything around him and he couldn't see the others anymore and then fell unconscious.

Kay woke up in the woods with Alice and Ryder near him. He immediately woke them up.

"Just a little more sleep... " grunted Ryder while opening his eyes. "Kay? What are doing here?" asked Ryder with bewilderment as he saw Kay above him.

"Well, I fell down the same hole as you" said Kay sarcastically.

Thump! Thump!

"Not this again!" exclaimed Ryder bubbling with anger. But then he saw several giant boars coming towards them. He was stunned at first, but then he felt fear and knew it would probably be his last day.

"Run!"

Kay immediately got out of the stupor when he heard Ryder shout. He started running togheter with the other 2 and ran away from the boars.

Thump! Thump!

Kay's heart was beating a lot as he grew tired of the running. Just then in front of him a message appeared.

Kay tripped as he read the system messages that were appearing in front of him. He was sure that death awaited him as he glanced at the boar that was a few meters behind him.

Suddenly the boar was decapitated as a man with a sword was standing before the trio that was running just a few seconds ago.
