Space and Time dungeon

An old man is reborn as a Dungeon Core in another world, where he must strengthen his Dungeon and create entire worlds to prevent the invaders from reaching the Control Room. A human emperor of the new world, who feels a deep hatred towards the Dungeons and their admirers, the Scalari, because of his childhood. A young Scalari who is born in the old man's dungeon and grows up there. His dream is to explore it and meet the apostle Mephisto, the Core, in person. -- this is my first self-written story, so the characters, for example, will certainly not be perfectly fleshed out. And maybe the story is not completely "round". But I will try to get a little better with each chapter! Sorry for the info dumb in the first few chapters. I tried to get away from it quickly though. I'd love it if you guys would give the novel a chance and help me improve it.

"Oh, quite straightforward!"

As memories continue to trickle into my mind, some things are self-explanatory.

I don't have a name because a Dungeon receives its name from the world. It's more like a title under which you're known.

What slightly bothered me is that I'm only 20 hours old again. The almost 133 years were no small feat! And I was proud of it!

Before I came here, levels didn't mean anything to me. Sure, there were games, but I focused on other things, and the games weren't advanced enough back then.

I see a level cap of four, and what happens after that, I can only speculate. Either I'm stuck at that point, and that's my limit, or I will evolve further. Perhaps gaining a few more 'Floors' or acquiring new abilities. Who knows?

A bit further down, I came across something important, not [Exp] since I don't understand that anyway, its just something that makes you level up. It seems I can expand the square fields below to access multiple options.

Um... let's start with [Mode]. By thinking about it, the individual 'modes' unfolded.

——

[Mode]

• Core [x]

• Ghost [o]

——

Apparently, for now, there are only 2 modes. I selected the Ghost mode with my thoughts, and my perspective suddenly changed.

I saw from what seemed like eyes, looking down at the marble. I looked at myself and saw a slightly transparent upper body with arms, hands, chest, and all that an upper body has. From the hips down, my legs dissipated into a trail, making it look like I had a condensation trail beneath me. Beyond a certain point, they completely disappeared, and I was floating above the ground.

I thought about whether I could fly, and suddenly I did, starting slow and then accelerating upwards until I hit my head on the ceiling.

[You cannot leave the Dungeon.]

"Seriously? Am I trapped here?" I shouted into the room, but as always, no one answered. I grumbled, "Where did the voice from the beginning go?"

...

"Well, then never mind," I continued grumbling.

Strangely, even though I am a ghost, I felt slight pain, as attempting to leave the Dungeon unauthorized caused me a slight headache.

"Can I at least see how I look?" I mumbled

And suddenly my perspective changed again to 360 degrees. It seems that even in [Ghost Mode], I could access this view. I slowly floated back down, as doing nothing kept me 'standing.'

As I looked closely, I saw... myself? "Hmm... I look like... me, but somehow at 21 and a little more transparent," I chuckled lightly, the pain already gone.

It seemed I was back to being 196cm tall, as unfortunately, I had experienced shrinking with age, and at 132, there wasn't much left of my original 196cm.

Furthermore, I saw my well-built upper body, as I was still in good shape at 21. I laughed lightly.

I always did sports. First, I played football and volleyball for a long time, and then eventually got into weightlifting and martial arts.

That's why my body looked quite solid. Also, I had far fewer wrinkles on my face, and it looked just as I had remembered it for a long time.

"Ah, I missed you," I said melancholically.

I wasn't ugly but not the most handsome either. My face had a square shape, with moderately thick eyebrows and a nose, relatively large in size.

Overall, my face looked angular, except my big eyes, which softened the 'dangerous' appearance a bit.

Strangely, my eyes were no longer green-brown but the same color as my Core.

Almost black with a touch of blue, with the black hole as the pupil and the star clock revolving around it, just like in the marble.

My hair, however, remained a mystery; everything else rejuvenated, so why not my hair?

My hair was white, just like it was at 120, after this age they had unfortunately fallen out, which I regretted.

However, the hairstyle was the same as when I was 21, short on the sides and longer on top, easy to care for.

All in all, I was quite satisfied and surprised. I returned to the Status and noticed a kind of button next to the Characteristics. I thought about pressing it, and something unfolded.

Characteristics:

• Space (unique) O

--> The first Floor is 20 times larger. With each Floor, the multiplication doubles. (Control Room is not affected)

--> Unique living beings, inanimate objects, etc.

• Time (unique) O

--> Time on the first Floor passes 20 times faster. With each Floor, the multiplication doubles. (Control Room is not affected)

--> Unique living beings, inanimate objects, etc.

____

"..." I was speechless for a moment.

"Wow!" was the only thing that came to my mind.

That sounded powerful, as each Floor has its own separate time and a large space. I hope there's light in there.

Since I couldn't think of anything specific, I moved on to the next point. I thought [Dungeon construction], and it unfolded.

_________

Dungeon construction:

[Inside]

[Outside]

_______

"Oh, can I also manage the exterior? Can I design my tower? I hope so, even if I can't see it from the outside myself. Let's start with the interior for now," I said.

Thinking [Inside]. Since there was a choice between the first Floor and the Control Room, I opened it for the first Floor.

///Seasons not available///

______

To be honest, I thought I could build houses and such here, maybe it's just not available right now.

However, there were many different times of day and weather conditions.

Under weather, there were many that I didn't even recognize or that simply didn't exist.

Among them were normal natural disasters, but also new weather phenomena that likely had something to do with my Characteristics. For example, a [Time Typhoon], or something entirely crazy like [Time skip], where everything in the Dungeon experiences 1000 years in a second.

If you're a poor intruder, you'll probably die of old age because you won't even notice when something like that happens.

They not only sounded powerful but were powerful, which came with a corresponding price. In order for this to be permanently integrated into the cycle, just like the others, you have to sacrifice 10,000 [EC].

However, I also realized that not everything can occur individually. For example, [Time skip] only comes in waves, so you have to integrate it into a weather cycle. You can also create your own cycles for weather and time.

"Cool," I thought, "with this, I could create a world with perfect weather, or always suitable weather for agriculture."

After looking at this, I checked the remaining options.

The same interface met me at the other two points as well.

Under living beings, I found some unique animals. They were typical, well-known animals but had something to do with one of my two Characteristics [CS]. For example, there were rabbits that, for defense, would stretch a bit of space around them so they wouldn't get hit.

However, I could only see what these creatures looked like after creating them. There was also a small subsection for plants, following the same pattern with my [CS].

The same applied to inanimate objects. Here, there were unique stones, water, jewels, and so on. Everything a heart could desire.

The more complex, the more expensive. However, I noticed that inanimate objects were much cheaper, and you could create them in quantities from grams to gigatons.

With my current... "wait a moment"... stock of 101 [EC], I could create a lot.

Normal soil or stone consumed 1 [EC] per 1000 gigatons. Higher-quality materials were more expensive; some cost 100 times more but had additional benefits. They were lighter, harder, more durable, or had individual abilities that related to my [CS].

"Well, you need quite a lot of materials for one Floor, and mine are even larger. Ah, I still don't know how big these things will be," I said. "Hmm... I'm really interested now. Let's get started!"

As in my memories, I flew to the Core and placed my hand on it, and an interface popped up.

[Do you want to reconfigure the Control Room or create the first Floor?]

"Create the first Floor, please!" I said with excitement.

Suddenly, I found myself in a huge empty room, and a kind of status appeared before me.
